Hello, from my queue. I'm really busy with Calc 2 so it might be a short mod :(

[Normal]
Overall you need to fix the overlapping, bad stacking under slider ends, and you need to have more pattern. I suggest looking at some of the more popular mapper's maps and study their patterns. Especially Ztrot's.

Also this forum has valuable info: 61

Hitsounds could also use work. But I'm going to focus on the aesthetics and flow since they're more important at the moment.

00:14:552 (3) - I think it would be better as two sliders instead
00:20:199 (5) - ^
03:13:846 (6) - ^

00:16:317 (5,2) - The overlap is very noticeable when playing. It would look much better if 5's slider end was on 2's slider head perfectly.
00:52:670 (3,6) - Similar situation. Move 6 to x: 176 y:224
00:23:376 (2,4) - Bad overlap
00:56:905 (1,1) - ^ try something like this http://i.imgur.com/bR89bep.png
01:08:905 (2,3) - Very bad overlap on (1) and (5)
01:11:728 (3) - ^ overlaps with previous slider. Would look better if it was on the slider end like this http://i.imgur.com/nXmXIpJ.png
For that whole part this is what I did. I simply put the circles directly on the sliders head/end respectively. It plays much better that way :)
http://i.imgur.com/Ly41gvF.png and http://i.imgur.com/y7mWyB9.png

01:12:434 (4) - CTRL+J and move back up top.

01:15:258 (7,3) - For the rest of the mod I'm not going to mention this that much, but another bad overlap. If you need more help on tackling this issue, feel free to IRC me.

00:25:493 (5) - Try to avoid stacking on slider ends, especially on normal diffs.
00:39:258 (7) - ^
00:50:728 (2) - ^ I suggest trying this rhythm instead for this diff. http://i.imgur.com/RkdM1Lz.png
00:55:846 (8,9) - ^ http://i.imgur.com/xJyErlD.png
01:19:493 (1,2) - ^ and you can blanket 2 instead.
01:38:552 (4) - ^
02:21:258 (8) - ^

00:42:787 (1,2,3,4) - Maybe make 2 reverse sliders instead?

02:27:258 (1) - this slider could look better.
03:16:670 (3) - ^
03:32:199 (1) - ^

03:36:081 (2,3) - http://i.imgur.com/BxgSlz0.png

03:41:376 (4,5) - Move down to x: 256 y: 340

[Hard]
Running out of time so just going to comment. It suffers the same problems as normal. Overlaps, no pattern, etc. Certain parts are overmapped and unrankable such as 00:42:081 (6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6) - (circles where it doesn't fit the vocals/instrumentation at all) and 00:14:552 (1) - would be better as just one long slider without the reverses. 01:19:493 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Also doesn't fit the music well.

00:20:905 (2,3,4,5) - Around here I'd do something like this http://i.imgur.com/OMZwiCm.png

Please IRC me if you have questions. Good luck :)

Oh, thank you very much~. Your mod has really helped me. Maybe I will make more patterns in hard diff soon.

No problem and I think your Storyboard is great :) Keep it up!
Squichu
Heyah! sorry, took me longer than expected, but here's my mod >< :

[General]
  1. cause you are using a custom hitcircle, you need to add a hitcircleoverlay and an approachcirlce to your map!
(that's cause custom skins will get mixed up with the map's skin and the players' skin might not match your hitcircle)
I think in Ranking Criteria it says something about Sliderborder Colour as well, but I'm too lazy to look that up.. sorry! |D
  2. to make your mapset rankable you need one difficulty with a star rating of 3.30 (iirc, it might be 3.24 or sth like that..) or lower.
(But I think if you fix some things in your Normal diff it's low enough.. or you could add an Easy as well. that's up to you!)
  3. your storyboard is really nice, I like it! :) unfortunately it takes up too much space. s:
  4. also, cause of your storyboard you should display an epilepsy warning in all difficulties!
[Normal]
overall this diff looks pretty nice already, but there are some things that caught my eye:
  1. never ever turn of Distance Spacing in Easy/Normal difficulties!
Inconsistent spacing makes the diff unreadable for beginners so it is essential and it's better to not break it.-the objects on the left and on the right are at the same distance on the timeline, but (on the left) placed at the half distance on the playfield,
so since beginners can't read approach circles as well as experienced players they have to rely on spacing a lot.. they won't hit the objects on the left correctly. >:
-> check AIMod for problems with DS!
  2. also, don't change Slider Velocity in lower diffs, it makes them needlessly hard to read as well.
(and in this case you used 0,75 and 0,8 and 0,9 and 1,0.. four different speeds. that's just too much for newbies. x: )
  3. 00:28:670 (1,2) - if you have patterns like this make sure they have the 'correct shape'. I refined the slider here, take a look:it's just a tiny difference, but still noticeable. You don't have to pay attention to that, but I'd do, cause it looks far better if it matches perfectly.
and there are many more shapes like that, you should check your whole diff for them and refine everything. (imo, you don't have to ofc!)
    a few of them:
00:33:611 (4,1) - pay attention to the approach circle here. -it's a lot closer to the circles and the distance to the sliderborder varies a lot. if you use the approach cirlce as a refernce you'll get a much neater shape!
    01:53:376 (6,7)
  4. there are some overlaps that don't look nice, examples:
    00:48:434 (5,1)
    01:09:611 (4) and 01:11:023 (1)
    01:15:258 (6) and 01:17:199 (3)
    01:46:670 (4,1)
    01:59:023 (3,4)
check your diff for overlaps and try to place the objects differently!
  5. 00:51:258 (1,2) - these two sliders don't look connected at all, I think it's better to make them interwine somehow like you did 00:25:846 (1,2) or 00:59:728 (1,2).
  6. 00:56:905 (1,1) - if you use stacks, stack objects properly, this looks a bit.. "messy". :c
    01:19:493 (1,2) - same here!
Sorry, I don't wanna sound rude in any way.. and maybe I'm too perfectionstic with all this stuff, but it just looks so unaesthetic to me. ><
  7. 02:32:905 to 02:55:493 - this break is too long. x: It matches perfectly with the music to have a break there, but it's more than 20 seconds where nothing happens.. that's definitely too much. (but I liked looking at the storyboard here.. it's really nice. :D)
  8. 03:36:081 (2,3) - hmmh, I'm not sure about this. it might be too hard to read, cause the reverse arrow becomes visible pretty late. maybe it's better to not cover it. (even though I like it, I'm doing it as well all the time, but then have to move everything around again cause it's too hard. ><)
[Hard]
This looks nice as well, just pay attention to some things I mentioned above already - nicer (/"correct") shapes, proper stacking, try to avoid overlaps ~
also :
  1. check AIMod for some unsnapped objects!
  2. imo it's better to keep DS here consistent as well and have a few jumps, it feels better while playing.. but that's totally up to you.
You'd have to redo some parts of the map if you want to keep it consistent, so.. Idk. It might work the way it is, personally I just don't like it. x:
  3. 00:14:552 (1,2) - this could need some refining as well. if you take a close look: the slider ball is not in the corner of the slider at the red tick, but slightly off. it looks and plays better, if you reposition the second anchor.
(it might be helpful to disable Grid Snap at that point, that way you're more flexible in placing objects!)
Whaa, kay. Sorry if anything of the above sounded rude to you.. I don't mean it that way.. I'm just tired so.. well.. xD
If you want me to recheck this or you have questions or want me to mod the Insane diff once it's finished: just pm me! c:

From my queue~

[General]
Overall I think this needs much more work. A lot of rhythmic patterns are confusing and note arrangement could also be improved a lot. There are lots of dotted (3/4) rhythm in the music and I wonder why you didn't make good use of them (obviously you know it as you used a little) Straight mapping to the 1/2s can be really dull providing this kind of music.

Also, check AI mod.

[Hikari to Kage]
OFC you need to complete it- -

00:11:729 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - - Consider this kind of rhythm. I personally find that this fits much better. The music is really swingy with so many dotted quarter (3/4) notes, so it's probably a good idea to make use of them. (This applies to nearly every measure, I will try to mention some obvious ones but won't cover everything similar)
00:14:199 (1,2,3,4,5) - try 3/4 patterns
00:18:787 (1,2,3) - 3/4 sliders
00:23:023 (1,2) - ^
00:23:905 (4) - this slider doesn't fit anything imo, consider removing this
00:26:464 (4,5) - strong beat is one the white line (end of 4) instead of the red (start of 5), so I guess making 5 starting at the white line may be better. (generally you want to use slider start for strong beat as you only "click" the start of the slider, not the end)
00:31:493 (3,4,5) - 3/4 sliders
00:38:552 (5,6,7,8,9) - well I don't like this. Nothing really in the music and a stream out of nowhere isn't that fitting.
00:41:199 (4,5) - slider should start from the long white line
00:45:611 (1,2,3,4,5) - doesn't fit the vocal i guess. First word is long and occupies a whole beat, where as you are using a circle and a slider
00:47:023 (6,7,8,9,10) - unfitting stream
00:59:728 (1,2,3) - suggesting two 3/4 sliders for the vocal
01:02:552 (2,3,4,5) - well don't like this jump since it does not follow the music

Well I guess you really should follow the music more...Suggest remapping. As a general note, you don't make insane by spamming random notes.. Try looking at other insane difficulties and see how other mappers do it.

[Hard]
Overall pretty inconsistent. Have sorta feeling that you were just placing whatever you think of at the moment. Same suggestions on using some 3/4 pattern as insane, not gonna repeat.

00:16:670 (5) - should place some objects here as the beat is quite strong
00:28:670 (1,2,3,4,5) - this might be too confusing for a hard
00:30:611 (8) - don't like this slider as new vocal starts at 00:30:964
00:37:140 (1,2) - avoid overlap and make a blanket
00:42:258 - need some objects
00:45:611 (1) - a non-repeating curved slider fits better imo
00:53:552 - place a circle here
00:54:081 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - suggest constant spacing instead
01:17:905 - place a circle
01:19:493 (1,2) - avoid overlap
01:41:905 (3,4,5) - 3 should be a circle and 4 should start at the white line. current placement doesn't fit the lyrics

I think I'm not going to continue with it.. I think the best way to improve this mapset is through a remap. Send me a forum PM or whatever anytime when you think that the quality's been improved and I will do a thorough recheck (don't want to waste too much time coz if you decide to remap this then there's no point in modding in detail). (Normal is actually decent but could still be improved a lot)

Sorry if my words sound a bit harsh >_< Good luck~

hello :)

Normal
As for the pattern, its already good
02:13:140 the finish sound are bit weird, i have 2 recommendations for this :
1. only put finish at 2, 6-1, 6-3 and 1 at next combo.
2. the combo remain untouched, just add finish at 02:15:964

02:28:670 seems weird, try moving it to 02:28:581 and lengthen the slider like this : http://puu.sh/5F4iU.jpg OR change it to a long slider : http://puu.sh/5F4AM.jpg OR add a new hit circle and edit the slider http://puu.sh/5F4Ip.jpg

03:24:081 and 03:25:493 finish sound seems weird, remove?

sorry i won't do other diff after being shocked at the SB o_o

As for the pattern, its already good
02:13:140 the finish sound are bit weird, i have 2 recommendations for this :
1. only put finish at 2, 6-1, 6-3 and 1 at next combo.
2. the combo remain untouched, just add finish at 02:15:964
