[resolved] Performance Rank skyrocketed randomly

Problem Details:
After logging onto osu and playing a single map, my rank went from 76 thousand to around 24 thousand. After i checked the osu chat it showed that it was happening to multiple people besides me. I'm not sure what caused this but some of the others said that they hadn't even played any songs recently and their rank was updated. Some people have said that their PP disappeared completely aswell and their rank changed.

Same thing happened to me. Mine was 160k and went up to 24k

I'll say it's perfectly normal, since there're pretty much two factors contributing to your rise on pp:
1. You got a pretty good rank on a map
2. You used to have a kinda good ranking on a map, but it didn't give you pp, then one day it gives you pp due to change of pp calculation or the popularity of the map.
Also, pp change sometimes delays for a bit, so maybe you had a pretty good score but no pp, and after a while you see you got pp from a normal score, that's when the previous one gives pp.
Note that there's a considerable amount of players with little pp, so a small increase on pp would lead to a huge leap on ranking now.

Also it seems alot of people got deleated off of my countries leaderboard is this normal aswell?

peppy is working on a solution atm. A lot of people have had their pp deleted for some reason.
