This is an osu! Standard, double elimination, 1v1 tournament.
Inspired by Speed of Light 2, this tournament will be teams of 2.
The rank range is 100k-250k with no rank buffer.
- If a player has been above the rank range within the past 60 days, they will be screened out.
Screening will be at staff's discretion and expect us to be taking a stricter approach towards derankers than usual.
All times are in UTC.
All players must be in the Discord to participate.
ScoreV2 and No Fail will be enforced for every match.
Staff are not allowed to play except for Streamers and Commentators.
Once registrations end and there are remaining Free Agents, the Admins will be making Free Agent Teams based on timezone and skillset.
If anything is unclear, ask for clarification in the #questions channel or from one of the Admins in the Discord server.

Qualifiers Procedure

The referee will create the lobby 10 minutes before the starting time. They will ping the team captains and send out invites shortly after.
You have 5 minutes to join the lobby. If you do not join in time, you may reschedule to for a different lobby.
There are no warmups in qualifiers stage.
10 maps will be played starting from NM1 and ending on DT2. Each team will only get one playthrough of the mappool.
Each player of the team must play a minimum of 4 maps.
If a player disconnects during a map they are allowed to replay the map at the end of the lobby

Bracket Stage Procedure

The referee will create the lobby 10 minutes before the starting time. They will ping the team captains and send out invites shortly after. If the referee of the match is not there 5 minutes after the starting time, you may ping @Referee in the Discord server.
BOTH PLAYERS OF A TEAM have 10 minutes to join the lobby or else it will be a Win By Default (WBD) for the opposing team.
One warmup map is allowed for both teams. The map can be maximum 4 minutes. Warmups can be skipped if both teams agree to it.
Both captains will do !roll and the captain who rolled the highest number will get to choose between first pick or first ban. Picking first means you ban second. Banning first means you pick second.
Double picks are allowed.
Double bans are not allowed.
A player can not play more than 3 maps in a row, the referee of the match will keep track of this. Strategize with your teammate around this rule.
If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds of a map, the referee will abort the match and the map will be replayed. If a player disconnects 30s after the map has started, proof of their score at the disconnect (osu! screenshot or Twitch VOD) will be taken into consideration. If there is no proof of the disconnected player's score, the point goes to the opposing team.
On freemod picks, at least one mod should be on each team, and a team cannot opt to use the same mod on multiple freemods*. EX. FM1 you take HD, FM2 you cannot take HD again, you must take (HD)HR, NM, FL, or EZ.
- *NM is considered a mod that you CAN use multiple times BUT it has a 0.8x score multiplier.
EZ has a 1.75x score multiplier. NM has a 0.8x score multiplier.
Tiebreakers will be played with Freemod, mods are allowed but not required.
