happy hardcore depends creator if ryu oh that is really good
i like sm gabber, but happy hardcore depends on artist (my fav: p*light, ryu*, xi)
I love both of them.
As it currently stands, this is my current favorite song that falls under the "gabber" genre (though I've also heard people refer to it as J-Core, not entirely sure which is right, maybe it's both, either way feel free to yell at me if this song doesn't count as gabber)
And this is my current favorite "happy hardcore" song. (90's happy hardcore is the absolute best, I will stand by this forever.)

I like them both, but I've yet to meet a bunch of people IRL that shares the same opinion. Same goes for oldschool hardstyle, for example.
Generally don't like either but I do listen to some of them
