Deadman wonderland
I found Mirai Nikki to be quite brutal and of course Higurashi
maybe High School of the Dead or Psycho-Pass. Then again, Shingeki no Kyojin was pretty bloody.

Fricking Corpse party. But still like the blood effects though.
Afro Samurai was pretty bloody as well
also Queen's Blade: Rurou no Senshi and Queen's Blade: Rebellion has some brutal scenes

Not really in to those bloody titles but the most brutal ones would be Another, corpse party and deadman wonderland.

I can't remember exactly what it's called, but it's a highschool and everyone apart from this little 'gang' of people are zombies, and they just kill zombies in their own school.
