if people think this thread has no spoilers in it, then they're idiots. the entire history of this thread has been leaks and spoilers. infact we even spoiler out spoilers in this thread now anyway. the tag is completely pointless, so i removed it

So, I have this game. It's fucking awesome. I'd be in chat with you guys but my computers CPU has finally crapped out and I'm too poor to get it fixed right now.

That said, I've probably already got a lot of you on my friends list, but if I'm missing anyone, shoot me an email. I'm a bit far behind (just getting to the fourth gym) but i've been spending most of my time catching and researching. I believe I'm up to 135 in my Pokédex already, so thats cool

Yeah there is no point anymore. Whoever really cares about spoilers need to isolate themselves from everything because Pokemon is talked about nearly everywhere

Just looked at the new Google doc, and want to say that I'll have my copy tomorrow (finally). I will have X version and my Pokémon in-game name will be Momoka. Just sayin' because I can't edit the doc.

Not sure, I guess at this point Xerneas interests me more.

In terms of which is more visually appealing, though, Yveltal > Xerneas.

also where does one get the rods?
You can get the Good Rod in Coumarine City.
Fly there, then take the monorail, head west and you should see a Fisherman stood to the east of two food stalls :)

Not sure where to get the Old or Super rod yet though :o

No idea about the old rod but eh, who needs it anyways. I got it somewhere, early in the game I guess. Might be the town with access to that Rhyhorn path. Dunno its name though.

The super rod's on Route 16 where the fishermen are.

Actually, the Old Rod doesn't JUST net you Magikarp anymore (depending on location)~

I've gotten Luvdisc with it at some locations, so yeah. And it's not just limited to Luvdisc, either.

Also, WTF. I just got sent an Encounter Power Lv 1. I thought that was restricted to the player only?

Yeah I found it really funny that you could take a picture with all the houses knocked over.

so i finally got round to getting the torchic, and noticed that there are 24 wonder cards slots. gen 5 only had 12 or so.
i wonder if we can expect a fair few mystery gift events

EDIT: The pokemileage shop is active on PGL, and it offers products for half the Pokemileage points as they cost In-game.

I saw that, too. I expect a lot of Legendary events, especially considering some weren't even that long >_> *looks at Gen IV Lati@s event*

I don't know if my pokemon are just that bad, or the Super Effective reducing berries now function like focus sashes, because those god damn pokemon in the Battle Institute keep surviving in the red.

yeah, battles run at a pretty slow speed, which is probably a tradeoff for them looking so pretty

though I can't recall having the same issue in KH3D :{
