Note: On the outside, the drum track may seem difficult to calculate the BPM to (I thought so) so here's what I ended up doing:
Step one: Listen to the song until the snare drum (usually the most distinctive sound) becomes repetitive
Step two: begin timing to that snare drum, like 10% of the way into the song
Step three: once BPM found, find offset.
Step four: double BPM, because I timed to half of the beat (it was easier this way)
Step five: scrutinize overall timing
