After those DDoS attacks, when I log in from an android IRC client called "AndroIRC", after some seconds I get disconnected and I have this error: http://d.pr/i/knLt/yVipgGW4
It's not a disconnection due to connection problem because I checked it... How to fix this? :(

My IRC client isn't reporting any problems. I'm using AndChat. Try my app and see if the problem still occur.

It's likely the new routing for IRC, which is sitting behind a layer of protection (different to other osu! servers). I'll look into this from my end, but may not be fixable for the time being.

AndroIRC didn't work at all for me, so I used Andchat and it works now.

I think AndroIRC is the problem

that error.. sounds familiar to me...

Well I use AndroIRC for a long time and I never had that error... But I'll try to change client using AndChat.

Well, I get the same disconnection with this client... The better thing is that it reconnects after 2/3 seconds so there's not a huge problem for me.

I ve been using AndChat since months ago. Back then when it got discnnected , it is just because my mobile / wifi network problems

After those DDoS attack, it got disconnected way more frequent. In 1 minute there will be up to 10-15 discnnects (it got reconnect rightaway though). And the message I got everytime is "disconnected by peer",just like Roxas

I can sort of confirm this. I got several disconnections a day now (I use Opera)

Too bad if it can't be fixed for now.

Can someon who is seeing this provide me with a packet log?
theramdans
something like this peppy?

http://db.tt/ON9uSdZw

In fact ,the disconnect time span is around 5-10 mins

And there is a period when you just idle after an amount of time;not typing lines ,the incoming chat will not be displayed (like being blocked or smth) unless you type a line - get disconnected - and then reconnect rightaway

Hope this helps!

No, I need a network level packet log. Wireshark or Microsoft Network Monitor.

okay, I've managed to install MS Network Monitor and make it log mIRC's connection. Hope this is what you were asking for (and also what OP was experiencing): http://pastebin.com/NJSbepzw

Bump. It still happens (now I am getting disconnected waaay more often than before), and I'm ready to provide any kind of data you need for debugging. There's a very small chance it's som, ething on my end, because the rest of applications that use internet connection work just fine.

I just recently used IRC and I'm also experiencing the same problem on mIRC.
Since mIRC needs to be paid for the full version, I tried to switch on a free one and I saw HexChat.
I'm currently using it and still having those random disconnections.

I can't provide any logs at the meantime.

Maybe this thread should have a [confirmed] :(

I can't even connect to IRC.

I'd guess it's somehow related to buggy TCP implementation on packet loss scenario.

[02:11:39] * Disconnected

I just had the service responsible for routing the IRC connectivity change some settings. Let me know if it's better now.

I always get disconnected with this error. Is it related to this or was it just my network?
