1. I believe it is worth trying.

2+3. It is multi language. There is english, japanese, french and german for languages. You can even choose your voice acting language (cutscenes) separate to your text (for example japanese voices and english subtitles, french va and german subs etc).

Whew well beta is over. Got myself to 20 arcanist and 10-19 to every crafting class (except weaver (50) ). It's a shame that there were so many server issues but overall I am glad that they were discovered during the beta and not during early access/release. Though I wasn't affected by them so lucky me. Apart from that though the game didn't seem to have any gamebreaking bugs but the difficulty of the game was far far easier than the previous beta. I'm assuming that low levels are supposed to be easy though but I can't make that call. PvP was hilariously broken (for good reason though).


That said I loved it, release is just around the corner, I'm excited! (Nono is too).

Hmm I'm not from Europe (though I have an EU account =.=) but if you're starting fresh you could always try to get on my server (Hyperion). It's an NA server but the EU and NA servers are all located in the same place anyway.

Only problem being that time differences could be a problem (but hey, at least you know someone right?). Our linkshell is open to any casual player as long as you're not a complete dick :P

@Noobita - I think Yoshi-P gave a detailed reason why he decided to go with p2p and to be fair it's a lot better this way. Sure it might cost some money ($15 a month is not that big when you think about it) but it keeps the content production consistent and everyone is at an equal playing field (none of the pay to win stuff).

I got hit with the 90000 error and later 3102 during the open beta, but I'm still looking forward to playing on pre-release.
Currently on Cactuar with the name Zefie Lycuria. I loved what I played in closed beta so I'm still pretty excited for it, despite not having played 1.0.

Haha, I've seen that around somewhere. I'm not discouraged over it, though; I'm ready to make up for lost time in-game. As for the P2P, well, it is kind of expected, considering they made a game and announced one year later, "Okay this game sucks we're remaking it."

Decided to keep playing on EU servers.. :p

Thou' Square Enix isn't really keeping up to the expectations...
3 hours maintenance right off the bat in early acces... :/

I am honestly surprised it didn't start dying until 6 hours after launch. Not too bad.

I still remember WoW's launch... *shudder*

Though I know a lot of the hardcore free companies are crapping bricks right now because they're losing the race for world firsts, on my server at least.

We've got RareEx and Conviction to compete with ;_; (though I doubt they're as well known as Blue Garter)

As it stands there are too many people logging in to the servers.

They're expanding the server capacity at the moment, expecting it around the weekend.

Hit 50 WHM last night, game is pretty fun. I'm really terrible at healing, but that's completely masked by the fact that people are terrible at dodging aoes.

Best part about this game is the music though. Garuda theme is too sick.

As a pugalist, can the tanks of this game please be aware our goal is to be behind the enemy. Stop moving between every single attack. It makes my job hard. Thanks.

1. After u buy the game. How long do u have until the monthly pay starts?
2. Hows the combat? Is like any other game? Can u guys give me example of a game that is similar combat system?

1. After you buy the game you get 30 days subscription included with it (i think)
2. Combat is like in WoW or GW2 (click and wait) but you can move freely while attacking

Seems like the Moonfire Faire is back and without the relentless looped elevator music.

Page 1 showcases the best of the festival; swimsuits, catgirls and mankinis. Everything you could ever want. And lolis

On a side note, finally grabbed my Gae Bolg relic quest. Just did the Chimera fight, not looking forward to the many wipes on Titan though (Ifrit and Garuda are relatively easy).

Downloaded the game today.
Apparently this week is/was free for the people that purchased the original.
I can't believe my authenticator still works. xD

Only played a an hour or so. Combat 'actually' works now and I don't remember it being 'that' detailed.
It's nice that they kept my old character with his gear, levels, etc and they let me change him around.
Graphics are insane - though I remember liking them before anyway.
I'm impressed with what I've done.

Downloading the patch for this now. Actually had to use LAN since my wlan is shit tier for downloading. 0.00mbps.

For some reason, crafting is really enjoyable in this game. I started out making a goldsmith just because all my friends were doing different crafts, now I have a 50 goldsmith/carpenter/leatherworker and spend all of my time crafting HQ craft gear sets and watching the marketboard. I don't even have a real use for all of the money I make aside from getting more money to make my various stats ever so slightly higher.

It's really shitty that the ilvl 70 gear is locked behind philo stones, though. I guess it'll be fine once that market develops, but until then it's painful.
