Background: I first got introduced to rhythm games with Guitar Hero (1) back in the day. A few years later I got caobalt flux pad for DDR extreme. I still play DDR to this day and m an avid lover of the game! The year DDR A released was also the year I got to go to Round 1 and experience more of what BEMANI has to offer including Sound Voltex Exceed Gear and Beatmania IIDX.
Never have I got up the courage to participate in a online community until now (I even have made a discord, DM if you want that) Growing up I have never really preferred to play games or do anything with people. I was mostly by myself playing solo games. osu! being my second online game (played an MMO long ago and while the majority of my time there was partying up and getting guild requests, I wasn't really actively talking.
