Subs are superior. Even though I can't understand a lot of Japanese, I can still pick up a lot of things from the original dialogue that the English doesn't convey. "professional" translations are the worst at this, it's like they barely even attempt to convey the original meaning.
I watched Tokyo Ravens over the holidays. Very good anime in my opinion. It makes me think though, I wonder if I don't bother much with life because I've been desensitised by fiction which presents a more alluring world which causes one to vainly chase after its fantastical elements through escapism rather than getting on with tedious reality. Or maybe it's just me and my obsessive personality.
