TBH i feel the same way he does about my CPU, this E6750 has been with me for nearly 10 years now. Even if i get a new computer before it dies, im going to keep it in a ziploc bag and a paper towel in the 100 year old drawer with all the other sentimental stuff.SaigonAlice wrote:

With an E6750, that 2GB of RAM isn't the only obstacle. That CPU isn't adequate to run any modern games except for maybe previous generation console ports. The reason you might not be seeing much bottlenecking with your 2011 graphics card is that CPUs stay relevant for longer, and Core 2 was still relatively decent in 2011.Riince wrote:

i mean ive played almost as much dota 2 as i have league but i just cant be fucked putting effort in online games anymore, trying isnt fun so id rather give half of a fuck playing league and not get mad at anything when it's "my team's" fault than try hard at dota and get mad when it's "my team's" fault. if you're going to not try and just piss around might as well play the casual MOBA, though it's best to play none. they're shit.

also i was plat5 in season 3 and quit playing as soon as i got plat then, too, and it's not like the game got any harder (the direct opposite actually, game keeps getting significantly easier with every season)

Giving half a fuck is the entire reason I play League. Last season I gave my best to somehow lose every game just to get into Bronze and fuck around. People want to go to Diamond so hard that they forget that after you play a game for 5 years, it doesn't matter if you climb the top - it'll get boring. Seeing people fail and give their BEST to perform some of Faker's moves even though they can't combo their own penises with porn is most definitely more fun after that much time.
I even refuse to play normals anymore exactly because of the whole tryhard aura. I'd much rather chill on the howling abyss - it also saves time, as a game doesn't last for 55 hours.

i dont try at all, really, i stopped caring about online games a long time ago. i know that if i just play normally i will naturally maintain a positive winrate and climb to platinum where i can retire again. that's good enough for me.

I wish that the LP decay process went a bit faster. I don't want to screw so many people over by deliberately losing the game, but at the same time the decay is so slow that I'll have to wait for months before I enter Bronze. I want so badly to just be magically placed there to have fun... seeing people yell at each other for being incompetent at a damn online game is just sad.

The last Yahari ep was much more enjoyable and realistic than the previous few. At last, the curse of the shitty plot is broken and I can enjoy it in peace.
Would you say the second season is as enjoyable as the first one? All I know is that it was produced by a different studio and I can't say I prefer the new art style based on what I've seen on screenshots.

Well, turns out they not only changed the main animations as well as the supporting animations, but they also pushed their unique plot and character development/relations so over the top that it became too much to watch at one point. I'd say the worst was from ep 5-6 to 10. Luckily, I just finished watching the 11th ep and the curse seems to be over, albeit at a high cost.
The art style isn't what I prefer either, considering that I loved how the characters looked like back in the first season, but you'll get used to it in a few episodes, don't worry.
Every person has their own golden age. Overall, I'd say that 2011 was when the most high-quality anime in the recent years came out in succession, but not everyone will agree. People who like moeblobs will love 2014 more.Kheldragar wrote:
