Who of you guys here is mapping/has mapped for osu! ? I have a small question regarding sliders.
Lets assume I am mapping the vocals of a slow song, and they go like... "Watch me do" with the W, m and d being said during a beat. How can i map this correctly?

What do i do with the slider ends, what is the correct way to map it?

well in general i would probably pick slider 2, because i dont like how slider 1 plays.
but if the 2nd word is really long (not a long word, but like really long in time, like noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo) that's gonna leave a huge gap, so you should probably do something else, like a note at the first word, slider at the 2nd ending on the 3rd. or even something else than that.

I can definitely think of examples of silent hitsounds, not against the rules as far as I know. So you you probably do number 1, although it would be really boring to play without some jumps between the sliders. IDK, probably needs some playtesting.

I don't see how a silenced slider end could make any sense. If something is silenced then it means that there is nothing to highlght in the song (a beat or anything). In this case, why would you make a slider end here? and if there is something to highlight, why would you make the hitsound audible?or the thread itself? Because i have seen that topic and i frankly think that silencing hitobjects is a bad thing to do, like the poster of the post thinks.
According to the RC it is allowed but this tolerance make no sense imo >.>
