Wee, another Touhou song! Here UI-70 does a remix of Phantom Ensemble from the fight against the Prismriver Sisters in PCB Stage 4. This is my first map and I'm working on it with my good friend Cillu.


Update June 26th:
BPM/Offset check. Cillu and I have been working on this beatmap and as we have progressed through it Cillu has raised the question as to if the offset is not right. If anyone could check and let us know the apporiate BPM/Offset we would apperciate it!

Update July 2nd:
-Fixed overlapping sliders on [Insane] that magically appeared.
-Added different volumes are different intervals at 1:22 as suggested by Xensor.
-Changed Slider Velocity to 1.80 with 2 ticks from .80 with 1 tick.
-Redid a few parts leading up to the 2nd break.
-Fixed some combos in the beginning.

Update July 3rd:
-Added x3ns0r's Phantom Difficulty.
-Changed HP Drain up by two nodes and Overall Difficulty down 1 node.
-Finished [Insane] Difficulty.
-Added background to x3ns0r's Phantom Difficulty and Insane.

Update July 4th: Happy 4th of July? :X *cheese*.
-Changed Overall Difficulty by two nodes on x3ns0r's Phantom difficulty.
-Added storyboard names for mappers part on Insane difficulty (Thank you to x3ns0r for doing this!).

-All changes made on Insane difficulty.
-Updated changes on x3ns0r's difficulty.

Sorry, I'm kind of busy away fromt he computer. Will try to keep updates comming asap.

-Applied changes suggest by Shinxyn. Resnapped notes to 1/4 (thanks to x3ns0r).

Make the offset 340.

And I think Normal sound @ ~50% volume sounds better, but that's just my opinion.

Awesome! Thanks! Gave it a run and feels better. Any tips on finding the offset better? It seems I can always get the BPM even without a program but never the offset. Also, I recently changed the speed of the approach circle and the circle of the notes (making them larger). That wouldn't require change in the offset you suggested would it?

Thanks! Phantom Ensemble is awesome, probably one of my favorite stage songs.Yeah it happened the other night while doing something to the map, not sure what happened! Going to fix, finish the end of the song and re-up that tonight! hard (might change to insane) is almost done! :) Also going to be changing slider velocity since its so slowwwww :(

If you're going to use the SB up there, I suggest Cillu's name needs to correctly spelled first (Unless that's some nickname xD)

This is off the top of my head, but I believe around the beginning of the song, before that part, you set a type of spacing. That player will assume that this 'distance snapping' will be used, and will time accordingly towards it, especially in a sight read. When you have that one inconsistent combo, (Like...I believe they were 1/1 notes being in a 1/2 distance), the player might actually think this was a 1/2 stream and trip up on it.

Something like that. :S

Follow these steps please-
Turn beatsnap divisor to 1/4
Then Resnap All Notes, and Recalculate Slider Lengths under timing
double check the whole map, while ONLY using 1/4 (and maybe some 1/8 slider... I guess), this song -doesn't- have 1/6 sections (nor 1/3)... (with the right BPM)


This needs a lot more work before I can give it a star.... and of course an easier diff..

You Need An Easier Difficulty, it is quite vital in ranking a map

[x3ns0r] (I think I updated with the new one he recently submitted in the post above)
00:16:26 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I like the samples here, somewhat cool I guess, BUT the sections must be put a couple milliseconds back, an inherited timing section cannot be timed exactly on a note, if someone hits it early and gets a 100, they wont hear the sampleset intended
00:17:402 (break) - fix break if not intentional
00:45:745 (break) - ^
just fix all the breaks, the notes appear as the break is still active
01:22:62 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - same as earlier samplesets, I'm pretty sure it must be done, look at some new ranked maps, you might see volume changes on blue/yellow ticks before a hitcircle.
01:26:03 (1) - move it back to 01:25:653 (as seen in [Insane]) then, end this spinner 01:28:686
01:32:47 (1) - move this whole spinner 1/2 back the the previous red tick
01:33:616 (break) - I don't think this break is needed, ask someone else, follow me, or do what you think is best
01:53:71 (1,2,3) - not sure if you wanted to stack this with the similar/previous combo

I like some of the hitsounds, few where overused at times, but I heard some cool clap patterns towards the end :D

I guess it's cool enough to pass, not as ranked though (diff needed), I'll probably keep this map in mind, once you make an easy difficulty, I'll star
