perfect spinning speed and circles on replays i've seen

i've seen a bunch of replays, especially on easy maps, spins with crazy speeds and perfect circles. i think i know the obvious answer for this, but for confirmation; is it even humanly possible and if it's done with the help of external programs/macro, it's illegal, right?

funny enough on difficult maps spins there are more oval/wobbly (more human), so yeah i'm going to call macro on easy ones.

While it is quite possible that cheats were involved, there are a few legitimately crazy good spin players who rank on easy diffs.
lncognito comes to mind (That first letter's an "L", not an "i")

don't be surprised by the 467 rpm. Many of the players who get #1 on Easy difficulties can actually spin that high. I don't know how perfect you think the circle they are making is, but generally most people don't hack on those type of maps. The circles they are making probably aren't that perfect; probably looks something like how I spin, except I rarely ever spin in the 400's cuz lazy.

If they are spinning in squares or some other random shape, that's obviously a hacker lol.

which map are you suspicious of

forgot which specific maps, but you could choose any 1-star map, watch the replay of the 1st placer and most likely you'll see a spin where the cursor suddenly snaps at the middle then create perfect spin circles. i've even saw a star-shaped spin, but i forgot which map was it, i think was a DJMAX song and the player is "W a r g" something like that...

and yes, i keep seeing the lcognito guy on the rankings. i just look at his replays and he's legit because his spins are wobbly and uneven.

@BRBP yep, it's actually hard to get 1st on easy maps because it's all a matter of how fast you spin and the circles/sliders are there just for filler.

There are many, many good players (that rank on insanes) that have consistent and fast spins. People like nixxskate, mugio3, nemis and kriers come to mind. It just takes practice like anything in this game really.

i LOL'd at the 2nd GIF. 1st and 3rd GIF is the usual "perfect" spin i always see on some 1-star map replays. compared to lncognito's those spins are "inhuman".

i know there was a feature request where they want to make the SPM counter visible on FL plays. i wish it happens though so we can easily check for cheaters.

dang, that's crazy. I once saw a spinner that had the guy right near the center, like... inside the spinner circle but making circles just enough for the game to register and it looked like the guy was vibrating his arm like the Flash or something. Crazy hackers are Crazy.

The first 3 look like cheats to me (though 2nd and 3rd are possible with tablet spinning with tiny tablet area mapped to a restricted zone on the screen, pausing the game to change the tablet mappings. There is no reason to do that though).
Incognito's replay looks like regular mouse spinning with 10,000 dpi and sensibility multipliers high, or extremely tiny tablet area, might not be a cheat

might be misunderstanding you but that particular thing isn't a hack or anything like that, just another way some people spin fast

It was me posting that request, solely for that reason you mentioned. xD

There are numerous legit spinners who can actually spin crazily fast:
- lncognito (fastest you can find around)
- Riclon (here and here)
- Guy
- NixXSkate
- Mephix
- Nemis
- Starbreeze
- kyuten

The list are not limited to these, although unfortunately, most of players (I didn't say all!) who set fast spin scores are likely cheating (especially if they could beat the mentioned above).

I have seen numerous cheaters who could spin exactly star-shaped patterns across several maps, and it doesn't even look like a tablet spin.
