Well, I decided I still want to post my yolo swag, but since this thread is so... dead, I decided to do it over in the
photography thread instead. Not sure if it was the best decision, but oh well. Have fun~
Also, for the record Raiden, if you happen to read this, I
do know where the character of my figure is from, I'm just not that familiar with it, so I couldn't explain it to you on the spot.
Her name is Kongiku, from Muramasa: The Demon Blade. She's a fox character (inari kitsune) who happens to have a bit of fanart on sites like Danbooru/pixiv, which I guess I've been growing fond of lately. So I didn't just get her because she was the bustiest figure in the whole con (read: that wasn't the ONLY reason why I got her ;3)
I think I'll also post about my adventures at the lolita tea party on Saturday. I realize I mentioned that nobody's going to read this most likely, but it doesn't really belong in the photography thread so oh well. But yeah, the lolita tea party took place from 12:00 to 1:30 PM on Saturday. My friend and I ate some sushi before heading to room 717B, where all the lolita events were held.
Lolis! I-I mean, lolitas! There wasn't that much tea or cake, but it was still fun. We had Aoki Misako-san with us, the official "Kawaii Ambassador" (centre, front in above picture). They talked about what it was like to be a full-time lolita (one who wears lolita fashion daily), and about bringing kawaii fashion into the rest of the world.
Obligatory moe cupcake. At the end, we played janken (rock paper scissors) with Misako-san. Basically, everyone was playing against her, whoever chooses something that would lose against what Misako chose would be out and they'd have to sit down. If you get the same hand as her, or you get something that would beat her, then you stay standing. Whoever is the last one standing with the Kawaii Ambassador wins a prize~ (iPhone case). We played two games of this, and miraculously,
somehow, I won the second one. Anyways, this is the phone case!~
It was... uh, somewhat unexpected.I made sure to get the pinkest, girliest case. Also, I got a free picture with Misako-san for winning~ I feel honoured to have my picture taken with the Kawaii Ambassador. She was very kawaii indeed.
