Ok so. This is my mod, if you disagree with something just ignore it.

Also the storyboard is nice, i didnt notice it before cuz i had video, and sb off so yeah XD sorry bout that. Anything more than plain black bg is distracting me and i am always turning it off so don't take my opinion about sb/ bg/ video distractedness so serious.


First thing is length of the sliders in the beginning. Imo they should be shorter. For example i would make this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5007189 slider like that https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5007195
It's not that big of a deal but i felt a bit uncomfortable when playing it.

Second thing is placement. I would not go outside the box. And i don't mean the thinking but the playing area. U C, if i don't see the whole circle when playing, i'm confused, and i start to think, why is this circle slightly outside the playing area. And i lose my focus XD So yeah, nothing major again but your map is very good and if i wanna make a mod i need to look at even smallest things :P

Third thing is jumps. I said that there are some jumps that are a bit too big and i'm gonna point them out now.

M4M, Hey Mercury (Freddie (?)), sorry for not doing this before, but I have some issues with English so I asked a friend of mine (Fairy Blast) to give me a hand with this. So as I promised, my mod is here :)
This is my 2nd time modding, so don't expect too much out of this... Fairy Blast also commented some things on your map too. These comments can be taken as advices on little things you can tweak/change .

My partner Fairy Blast suggested that you change the difficulty name, as Marathon can be interpreted as a recopilation of various songs with breaks between them . He suggests that you name the map after an important event/character/object related to the anime "11 Eyes" as that was the anime that inspired the song. (he says that the diff name can be a bit misleading)

00:34:664 (1,2,3,1) - I would move the 3rd slider closer to the onethat you start a new combo on, so that the movement would be more fluid and easier to play

00:44:209 (4,5,1) - I would move the slider (1) either up or down a notch, as the tail of the previous slider (4), makes it a bit hard to see it (minor complaint)

00:53:584 (4,5,6,7) - These could be just normal circles as kick sliders feel a little bit unnatural (and you might want to reduce the space between them but that's just a personal taste, I'll leave that up to you)

01:00:062 (2,3,4,5) - ^

01:29:039 (3,4,5,6) - These kick sliders might not follow the rhythm of the song too well, I suggest replacing them for circles or longer sliders (Fairy's opinion)
01:31:596 (3,4,5,6,7) - ^
01:34:494 (4,5,6,7) - ^

03:38:244 (1,2) - Maybe you could move the circle (2) down a bit, as the slider (1) makes it hard to see it (minor complaint)

03:47:278 (6,1) - I would suggest reducing the spacing between them to keep consistency with previous sliders

03:53:244 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - These sliders don't feel natural to me, they could be just plain circles (personal taste/minor complaint)


04:50:346 (1) - I have 2 suggestions about this spinner. 1_change the spinner for a break time or 2_ try to shorten the spinner and then make a small break. The thing is that after the spinner, the song makes a halt and kinda stops, so the following note might take the player by surprise. (Fairy said that while he was playing the song for the 1st time without the interface, he thought that the song ended and completely missed the following note as it took him by surprise)

06:12:334 (1) - Fairy said that he would end the map there, but that's just his opinion and it's your map, so you decide what you want to map (Fairy's opinion, just nitpicking a bit. This doesn't bother any of us at all)

Final note: I really liked modding your map. This helps me to gain more experience as a mapper. Thank you so much for modding my map!! You're a great mapper, this map can easily be ranked (according to fairy and me). This map shows that you're a a very dedicated person and that you have a lot of talent as a mapper, we hope to see more maps from you in the future :). I hope we can keep in touch, I wish you the best of luck!!

Thanks for the mod. I'll fix this after work. About the marathon, yes. The difficulty name was "Aeon" at the beginning. Due to hitsound bug. I have to change to Marathon to test if osu! will properly upload all my hitsounds. It doesn't I'll change it back later on.

I like this map, so what I'll point is just a suggestion

01:36:539 (1) - Slowdown here? The bass sound is there, to emphasize that.
01:40:971 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Although this is an Extra, I don't think those jumps are needed. Or the alternatives I can think of is that you're decreasing the DS on each jumps between sliders to emphasize the vocal down voice.
01:50:175 (1) - Starting from this slowdown, I think it's better to use slower SV, but it's up to you, because it might change the whole part (I think 0.5x works better)
02:05:005 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Prefer to make two 1/2 slider from 3-4 and 5-6 , but my point is that the way you're stacking 3-4 and 5-6, while you're stacking 7-8-9 might be a bit confusing (although the song is calling for that)

the pace of the map on this part does not fit with 1/4 spam. or i have to remap the latter part just to make it work
