tutuhaha's Kisaragi Attention map was one of the first I played when I first started osu, so this brings back some memories

[Jumping]

00:49:084 (1,2) - One of the main sources of ambiguity in free-spacing maps like this is an inconsistent rhythm. More specifically, an inconsistency in the time between successive notes. Because you distance your objects here in so many ways, from spacing them relatively closely to spacing them all the way across the map, the player really cannot rely on standard spacing to tell them when to hit the next note. It's pretty much going to be confusing no matter where you place 00:49:392 (2) on the map in this case, because for the last 20 seconds the player has been constantly jumping around the map to hit notes spaced consistently at 1/2 beats apart. When you suddenly introduce these two notes that are meant to be hit a full beat apart, it can easily catch a player off-guard.

The dangerous side-effect of this is that after the first time this catches the player off-guard, they'll be constantly wary of its presence in the map, and they won't be able to trust in your rhythm anymore. This is important, because it's either your spacing or your rhythm that the player needs to be able to trust, and they definitely can't trust spacing in jumpy maps.

I don't see a reason why you couldn't do something like this instead, for example:

It's not going to accentuate the staccato in the vocals here like a single hitcircle would but it does make this section much less ambiguous and play more smoothly.

Another trick would be to stack the notes; this, as I'm sure you're familiar with, is used rather frequently in jumpy maps to deal with full-beat spacings.

Laurier actually uses this quite a lot in his guest difficulty in this mapset, and I think it works.

There are places where this isn't a problem, either due to slider shapes, an exaggerated enough difference in spacing, etc., but I'll point out some of the sections that were problematic for me personally, on a scale of 1-5, 1 being least problematic, 5 being most.

00:56:315 (8,1) - 5 -fixed
01:03:853 (4,1) - 4, due to similar spacing at 01:03:392 (1,2,3,4) -fixed
01:08:622 (1,2) - 5, slider leniency actually makes this gap quite small and I see a spam of notes and I want to spam. I cry when I miss/50 all of them. -fixed
01:30:315 (5,6) - 4, the spacing is too small -fixed
01:55:238 (3,4) - 3, you have HUGE spacing like 01:54:007 (6,7) and then right after it you have this -fixed
03:13:699 (8,9) - 3 -fixed
03:06:930 (5,1) - 3 I don't know how to do..
03:21:853 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - 2, not a huge issue, but could you maybe try something like this instead?

In general, I think this map could benefit from being a bit more neatly organized. I mean, meticulous symmetry doesn't look your style, but you have a bunch of pseudo-symmetry like 00:56:622 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) that are sort of organized, but not perfectly, and it just looks a tad awkward in my opinion.

The map plays nicely though, aside from those confusing full-beat timings. Your jumps are fun!

[Laurier's Insane]

02:29:699 (3,4) - I'm not sure I like this one. The easy solution would be to CTRL+G these two here, but that's boring. I think simply unstacking (3) from the slider release would help.

03:20:315 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This combo is somewhat awkward. I think it's the difference in timing between this stack 03:20:546 (2,3) and the other two stacks and the fact that you double back to the (2,3) with (8). Why not just replace this with some fun triangular jumps instead?

03:22:776 (1,2) - I'm not sure how well this one works, especially coming from 03:22:161 (3,4). I think you should move (2) out from underneath the slider.

This is a great map! The patterns you've got here are really interesting and amazingly fun to play through. It flows beautifully, overall.

I'm not sure how concerned you are about symmetry, but I think these small fixes can only improve your map and not damage it in any way, so I wanted to point them out.

Other than those aesthetic issues, I think the map is properly spaced, the rhythm is consistent, and everything flows nicely. Good work!

Great song, great maps. While to be honest I find some of your patterns a bit on the messy side, and I think the mapset could use a bit more symmetry and geometry, aside from a few issues they all play smoothly, and that's the most important thing for any map. So good work!

00:12:230 (1) - Why the lonely combo? It wasn't there in your Hard map.

In the Normal there are huge change in the SV but no SV change at all in the Hard. Why? There are moment when the SV in the Normal is actually higher than in the Hard. I asked Kurai (Bat manager) about it and he told me "it's not unrankable but it's really bad".

00:05:684 (2) - What about to use shape from previous slider? It would be more consistent.
00:19:393 - 00:28:161 - This part might be a bit less jumpy, if I were You, I'd make this part more calm and resign to large jumps (like 00:25:084 (3,4,5) ). Look at Laurier's diff - there are shorter distances between notes. I know it's Jumping diff, but jumps at this moment wouldn't match.
00:23:853 (6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13) - Stream's shape doesn't look good and transition into slider is a bit rough.
00:48:776 (7) - Try to reverse it, may be played better.
00:54:622 (2) - Reverse for better flow?
01:08:161 (3) - You can improve shape to more circular:

I had really big problems with parts like 02:02:469 (3,4,1,2,3) - this pattern would be really nice but with Approach Rate 8+. In addition, rhythm of this difficulty reminds me Hard difficulty. In my opinion, You should remove some notes (mostly 1/2 circles) and re-arrange some patterns to make it more readable at AR 5-6. But mapped really good in overall :3

Hi there, M4M from my queue.

[Easy]

This difficulty has a ton of spacing issues, like a lot a lot. Spacing on the map fluctuates between 1.00-1.20 and as a result makes it look really sloppy. I'm not going to point out every instance that this happens because there is spacing issues between almost every object (no exaggeration). You really need to go through this map with a 1.1x distance snap (I'm assuming this was the intention) and clean up all of the issues. I'll try not to mention spacing next because this would make this mod be really, really long. I'm a bit surprised that no one brought this up earlier given how many mods this mapset has, but there you go.

AR3, definitely for this difficulty.

00:03:502 (3,1) - I would recommend unstacking these and doing some rearranging here, since the 2nd approach circle coming in can makes this a bit confusing for beginners.
00:24:315 (1) - I would advise you to get rid of short 1/2 sliders on the Easy diff. Without a repeat and the low SV makes these look like two circles, and this can be confusing. For this one, I suggest deleting this slider and adding a circle at 00:24:469 - instead.
00:29:699 (1,3) - This overlap doesn't look so good.
00:35:238 (2,3) - this rhythm doesn't really make a lot of sense. Here is my suggestion, which I think fits the music much better. http://puu.sh/5myGW.jpg
00:47:546 (3,1) - nazi thing here, but fix this overlap.

01:04:161 (2,1) - with the next slider also

01:47:238 (2,3) - definitely fix this overlap, doesn't look great
01:55:853 (1,1) - fix up this overlap
01:58:161 (2) - not a fan of this slider for the easy diff, mainly that the slider track gets all bunched up so that it is more difficulty to tell what is happening. Space it out more so that the player has more room to distinctly tell where the slider track is.
02:02:007 (4,2) - unstack these, can be confusing to read
02:02:315 (1,2,3) - two problems here. The short 1/2 slider and the double repeating slider, both of which are going to confuse beginners and are also inconsistent with your mapping. Take the pattern you did from 01:00:469 (1,2,3) and use it here again.
02:04:930 (1) - This slider isn't so great because you miss the really strong beat at 02:05:392. I would say end this slider here then add a circle at 02:05:699.
02:07:853 (1) - This feels really odd compared how you mapped the first similar section. I would say keep consistent between the two. This is how you did it the first time: 01:05:699 (1,2,1,2). Keep consistency here.
02:07:853 (1,3) - Definitely fix this overlap. Unless the player has snaking sliders on then this huge overlap will cause problems.
02:22:315 (1,3) - fix this overlap here
02:25:084 (4) - lower the end point here
02:36:469 (1,2,3) - delete these, they feel random and they're not needed.
02:41:084 (1,2) - delete these. It's better to start where the actually strong part of the song is, like how the Normal is mapped.
02:46:622 (2) - this slider is causing some bad problems here. It's snapped to a weird rhythm, which isn't suitable for your Easy diff and it messes up the polarity for the following objects. 02:49:853 (1) - better here to remove a repeat and add a circle at 02:50:776 - instead. This matches the music pretty well since you put a circle where the strong drum hit happens.
03:07:238 (2,3) - polarity problem, this one will confusing so i highly suggest changing this one. Extend (2) to 03:07:699 I think, which works alright while keeping that repeating slider.
03:10:469 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - These don't work at all for me. I think this part needs to be remapped.
03:18:007 (1,2,1) - you can get rid of these, these odd breaks in the breaks (huehue) are pretty unnecessary to me.
03:24:315 (1,1) - these two spinners in a row are kind of boring, and are actually pretty bad to use on your Easy diff. Map this part out, and you can match the music instead of the vocal.

Sorry to say, but in my opinion this difficulty needs a ton of work. The spacing needs to be fixed between almost every object, which is not good. There were a lot of other problems as well that I addressed, but I know that I didn't get everything that I wanted to get to here since there are other difficulties to mod.

[Normal]

HP+1 and OD+1, would make the settings balance better. I think they are fine for this diff too, since this is almost a Hard diff.

SV settings may be a problem. The SV changes seem a bit over the top for a Normal, but we will see.

00:13:866 (2,3) - i would recommend changing this a bit, since the overlap gives the illusion of these being equally spaced tick-wise. Somewhere like (280,196) looks better to me since it is clear that (3) happens later.
00:18:230 - 0% volume is unrankable. Increase to 5% here.
00:19:393 (1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,1) - you need to halve the combos here. Right now this is inconsistent with the rest of the map
00:23:546 (3,1) - fix this stack here, looks sloppy
00:40:469 (3,4,5,6) - having 4 circles spaced 1/1 is kind of boring, so I suggest putting a 1/1 slider at 00:41:084.
00:45:084 - consider adding a circle here, which would put an object on the drum beat so this part doesn't feel so empty.
00:45:853 (1) - remove NC here for consistency
00:48:469 (5,6) - this overlap here is not suitable for your Normal diff (it is even sometimes too difficult for Hard diffs as well!).
00:52:622 (3,6) - a little overlap fix here
00:56:007 (6) - clap on the repeat
00:56:622 (1,1,1,1) - don't do this on your Normal difficulty. SV increases with these combos should not be on your Normal diff, so definitely change this up.
00:58:930 (1,2,3,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - You need to halve the combos in this section. There's too many combos where you have very few objects, which isn't great.
01:00:469 (1,2) - these are weird to me because this is the only section where you map completely to the drums. It's really inconsistent with the rest of the section so I suggest you remap these matching the vocal like the rest of this part does.
01:06:930 (2,1) - these play better unstacked imo
01:10:776 (2,1) - ^
01:13:392 (6,1) - I don't like this stack here because you have flow going from 01:12:776 (4,5,6), and the stack at the end just kind of ruins it. I would say unstack.
01:15:853 (6,1) - this stack is also not fitting to the music, unstack these ones.
01:18:315 - There needs to be a circle here to match that strongn vocal
01:20:161 (5) - this needs to be changed because it goes off the playing field. Even though only silghtly, it still does so it must be adjusted.
01:20:776 - Add a 1/2 slider here at least. There is a drum roll here that must be mapped.
01:45:084 (5,6) - I'd say straighten these out. The SV is pretty low so right now they look too cramped up when they're curved and right next to each other.
01:47:392 (5) - This is a weird way to map this part after you matched the claps so much before. I suggest deleting this circle and adding a 1/1 slider instead at 01:47:238, which would match the bass slide and also give you places to hitsound so it doesn't sound empty here.
01:48:622 (2,3,4) - this isn't great for your Normal diff at all, too much of (4) is obscured. Rearrange these so that the sliders are more visible.
01:58:161 (1,1,1) - again, here the SV changes and combos don't fit a Normal diff. also, this pattern is inconsistent with the first one you did at 00:56:622 (1,1,1,1), so pick a rhythm and map both parts with that rhythm.
02:02:469 (3,4,1,2,3) - This formation 100% needs to be remapped. Way, way too much overlapping.
02:14:930 (6,3) - fix this stack
02:16:776 (4,2) - overlap here doesn't look super great
02:27:238 (5,1) - unstack these. This part with the triangle formation before says that you want each word mapped with spaced objects, so you have to continue that here.
02:30:007 (1,2,3) - this is really bad for a Normal diff. All of the slider paths are obscured, which makes it hard to read.
02:32:315 (5) - NC here for consistency
02:52:776 - add a repeating 1/2 slider here to match the drum roll. I think you really need it for this one.
03:01:699 - add a 1/2 slider here

I will stop here, since I think I have given you a lot to work on for now. I think your easier diffs need a lot of work, especially the Easy. The Normal also needs a lot of work and I am worried about your spread. Your Normal feels too difficult right now. We'll see, but for now I'll leave you with this. Good luck!

Sorry to say, but in my opinion this difficulty needs a ton of work. The spacing needs to be fixed between almost every object, which is not good. and it goes on and on. You really need to fix all thoses overlapping problem bro

I'm not a huge fan of almost full slider map, but if it's your choice, no problem with that ^^

Same as above, overlapping is quite a problem here for whole mapset. Please fix it
