osu!standart LoliCup tournament
Osu!LoliCup is going to be an international 2v2 with teams of 2 osu!standard double-elimination tournament, but with simple gimmick in it, mappools that are 1.5x or even 2x harder than frequently been used in this rank range. It will be using Score V2 as the win condition.
Only players with a global ranking of #50,000 to #100,000 with BWS applied can participate in this tournament. After the registration phase is finished, players may exceed this limit upwards or downwards. The rank buffer will be 2.5k per one player, which means that the player can be at rank 47,5k and still participate in the tournament.
This tournament will also use screening when all players are confirmed (a quick check of all participants by the Support Team), to make sure that all players are legit.
The tournament will last around 7 weeks, depending on how long the screening will take starting with the Qualifiers. In Qualifiers, participants will play in Head-to-head game mode with No-Fail applied.
After qualifiers, 32 teams will continue playing in a knock-out stage, starting with Ro32, playing 2v2. In a knock-out stage, the game mode will change from Head-to-head to TeamVS, again with No-Fail applied.
Ro32, Ro16 and accompanying Loser bracket match will be BO9 with only 1 ban.
Quarterfinals - BO11 with 1 ban.
Semifinals - BO11 with 2 bans.
Finals and Grandfinals - BO13 with 2 bans.
We will announce the map pool at the start of each week, 5 days before the particular stage starts. Approximate star ratings + mappools format :

Joining the tournament's Discord channel is MANDATORY - for both players and staff - we will post all announcements and news there. At last, all matches are going to be reffed and all matches except qualifiers are going to be streamed and commentated on Twitch.

Staff members are strictly forbidden from participating as Players. Referees will be present in all matches - from Qualifiers to Grand Final.

- Players will choose one of the twenty qualifying lobbies to play in (#scheduling channel on Discord) at least 24 hours before the lobby starts. Players can also request an extra lobby if none of the times suits them.
- 30 minutes before the lobby starts, a referee will tag players in Discord, to make sure they do not forget about the match.
- Referee will start sending in-game invites 10 minutes before the match starts. If you do not receive one, make sure to let the referee know - on Discord or in the Game Chat.
- You are allowed to show up MAXIMUM 10 MINUTES LATE, after that, you will have to reschedule to a different qualifying lobby.
- Players will play through all maps ONCE, starting with No Mod, Hidden, Hard Rock and finishing with Double Time.
- After a lobby is finished, a match link will be posted in #results on the Discord server.
- After all qualifier lobbies are finished, all players who participated will be placed on the leaderboards for each map of the pool and the sum of all placements will determine the final results (from lowest to highest).
- Top 32 teams from each bracket will proceed to the next stage, everyone else will be eliminated from the tournament.
- Just like in qualifiers, a referee will notify players 30 minutes before the match and invite them 10 minutes before.
- Both team members must show up in the lobby before the match starts and they can be MAXIMUM 10 MINUTES LATE, otherwise they lose the match by default.
- Both captains roll for warmup - highest roll chooses the first warmup, map is played, then lower roll chooses the second warmup. Please keep warmups under 4 minutes long.
- Highest roll chooses whether to pick first or ban second. If happens to choose first pick, it means that team will also ban first and conversely.
- After bans, teams alternate picks until one of them wins the match.
- If both teams are one point away from winning a match (matchpoint on both sides), a Tie Breaker is played - a special map that is harder and longer than normal to determine the match-winner.
- The winning team will progress to the next stage, while the losing one will continue playing in the Losers Bracket. Losing a match in the Losers Bracket means being eliminated from the tournament.
