Huh. This is pretty nice for the most part. Kind of generic for the choruses/drops, but they're decent ones nonetheless. It's generally pleasing to listen to so that's what counts. Just a bit generic.

I'll give it an almost solid 5/5.

Picked this one from my "Music For Living"-playlist.

A pretty solid bit of Ambient material. I think I could see why you might like it. Pretty for a song of the Ambient genre, decent as a song overall.

7.2/10 A little uninspired but tasteful and an enjoyable listen, great energy.

Pretty decent, though not much to say about it. I do like the percussive fills, foley samples, and whatnot. Generally a good song.

7.7/10 Just a nice song, had me hooked from the get go and kept me around. Satisfying heaviness to the sounds.

Kind of a standard song, though the drop was nice. It just didn't have anything exactly appealing and felt like the mainstream stuff, which I tend to feel rather indifferent about for whatever reason.

Generally, the song is alright. no huge complaints, just seems a little too overdone to me.

7/10. Not much to say here. It's both calm and batshit crazy, but it's my kind of calm and batshit crazy... if that makes sense. I'd probably have to be in a certain mood to listen to this.

--

Speaking of batshit crazy, the LISA OST has a lot of that. Since I have quite a few songs from the series that I like, I decided to just choose one by random. To me it seems as if they leave a bigger impact and sound better if you've actually played the games but they may still sound good even if you haven't.

if that's not your style then you may prefer this one

nice to see LISA mentioned here.

6.72/10.

Really doesn't do much, and needs some balance. Drum patterns are "meh", the ascending sweep gets a little boring, if not deterring. I think it does add a sense of discomfort, which I believe was the original intent as anything would be under the LISA games.

I enjoyed this one. Structurally sound, serene, and generally nice and easy to listen to.

Nice and serene, perfect for a cup of coffee, slightly cold weather and thought.

6.5/10. Not bad by any means, but not for me. Although, when I listen to this song I can't help but envision a play with some sort of erratic scene being acted out. So that's pretty interesting I guess.

I'm not really into that kind of music, but still it's not that bad. 7.5 I would say.

Here's mine:

8.25/10. It's funky fresh. It can act as some nice background music.

Beautiful and hits me the right in the feelz (the comment section on that video especially) .8/10

But how but something more energetic to bring up the mood a bit?

It's alright. As for "energetic", that's not very energetic. Unless you meant it was whimsical?

Anyhow, it's a decent oriental-sounding track and though nothing in it particularly catches my attention, it has decent percussive and melodic progressions.

Hmm. This one's a bit too crazy for my tastes. I don't really like how everything sounds pretty erratic.

So in my tastes at least, it's a 4.5/10

Achromalia
7.04/10.

Funky. Started off a bit weird and I wasn't a fan of it until it got down to business at around 0:12 in the song. From then on, it was pretty decent and had some cool progressions.

Overall, no big complaints. It'll take a while until I can get back to properly critiquing songs as I'm a bit busy and haven't done anything in a while.

ooo, synthwave huh? I've always liked synthwave. This song in particular gives me some vibes that for whatever reason remind me of Kavinsky - Nightcall and Laszlo - Airglow. Probably just because they're in the same genre. Like your comment on Soundcloud, I also think that the song gives a cinematic feeling which personally allows me to envision scenes from something out of a movie. I have yet to hear a synthwave song that I dislike.

That being said, 7.25/10. This one's pretty good.

Also, I don't really mind if you don't "properly critique songs". I mean most of the time my "critiques" are just me rambling about shit I like. As long as I get some rating and maybe a sentence or two, I'm satisfied dude.

Aaaaanyways, speaking of Laszlo - Airglow...

fruity 8/10

there's some parts that are really good, but i just can't agree with the synth-like sounds in the beginning, and after the second section.

I've got a new rating scale. I'll rate things from a base value of 6.

7.12/10.

The lyrics are pretty interesting, actually. I like that. Instrumentally, it could use something more, but then again, it's also fine as it is. I dont have anything in mind to say about this or what could've been done better.

Achromalia
7.65/10.

Pretty cool. Not in the mood for writing an in-depth critique but I'll just say that it has a pretty good progression with pretty good vocals and pretty good instrumentation.

8/10, it's good music for sleeping and relaxing in general. would recommend to a friend with sleep issues.
