8.14/10
More folky, orchestral, and instrumental stuff. It sounds pretty good, has an interesting mood, and the instrumentation is pretty good. Some parts of it makes me reminiscent of the soundtrack in the original Diablo game for the town of Tristram. At some point a particular noise or transition made me think of the Protoss and Terran soundtracks in the original StarCraft.
This is a pretty good song in terms of an experience, and would work well as an accompaniment in a movie soundtrack. I like the progression, and there's a lot of nostalgia-inducing changes. I feel like if this were to be in a game or movie, it would be really memorable. It just has that sort of quality.
Holy shit it's also quite the immersive song, I'm starting to imagine some sort of world, like within the 13th, 14th, or 15th century era or something.
Pretty damn good overall.
