6.2/10, Minimal but good atmosphere, can't say I enjoyed all of the sounds here though, like 2:25 was just unpleasant.

Really calming. I enjoy this, despite the awkward country hometown feel, it's actually used well. I dont know what to say about it really, it's just really nice. Easy to listen to.

7.8/10 Lovely lovely, it's just so serene. I don't know if I like the mixing though, rain sounds are a little too loud for me.

Achromalia

More folky, orchestral, and instrumental stuff. It sounds pretty good, has an interesting mood, and the instrumentation is pretty good. Some parts of it makes me reminiscent of the soundtrack in the original Diablo game for the town of Tristram. At some point a particular noise or transition made me think of the Protoss and Terran soundtracks in the original StarCraft.

This is a pretty good song in terms of an experience, and would work well as an accompaniment in a movie soundtrack. I like the progression, and there's a lot of nostalgia-inducing changes. I feel like if this were to be in a game or movie, it would be really memorable. It just has that sort of quality.

Holy shit it's also quite the immersive song, I'm starting to imagine some sort of world, like within the 13th, 14th, or 15th century era or something.

Pretty damn good overall.

7.5/10 Pretty gnarly, the energy is great. The voice-lines really balance this out from being too much.

A bit too heavy for my taste, but I like the bass progression

Achromalia
7.54/10

Hmm. It's a bit quiet, but that's alright.

The intro is alright, and has a bit of drive to it, and gets right down to business by 0:09. The progression is good, and I like the underlying tone to an extent. For some reason it didnt do all that much for me, but it was still decent while it lasted. It has a good bit of energy through the song, and definitely feels like it's emotionally charged to some degree.

Nice.

I really like the underlying and beautiful melody, while the fast beat keeps the energy going.

7/10 Its fine, really love some parts actually. I was so sick of that sax by the time it finished though, jesus.

Achromalia
7.73/10

Hmm. An interesting one for sure. 1:25 was cool, but I expected that to repeat a bit more frequently. Pretty good, actually. I dont know what else to say about it though, it just sounds generally nice.

Rook
7.8/10 I mean, It's gorgeous but the voice sounds really add nothing to this, they're kinda silly actually. If it didn't have those it's an 8/10, just makes me warm listening to it even if it's nothing spectacular.

Achromalia
8.32/10

The intro sets it off to a good start. The vocals are pretty nice. The whole song itself is serene and ambient. I love that atmosphere, by the way.

So I'm about ready to release Inertia. I'd like to know what you think of it so far. I dont know if there's something it'd need work on and I'm a little nervous about the final result ;w;

i hope this isn't an oof

Well, lemme break this chain of Achro and Rook rating music with a not so good review.

8/10

I like the song, but in some parts I was kinda expecting a dubstep drop like some of Xtrullor's songs. If I were to map this in osu, I would most likely skip the first 50 seconds of the song. I don't make music myself, and I can't really just criticize on most music, so I might be picky.

Always love me some RWBY

Classic Yang to make the title an ironic pun

Rook
3/10 Just not my thing I guess, found it incredibly boring and uninteresting actually, nothing about it was soothing or majestic to me.

Welp, ones thing for sure, you shouldn't be nervous.
8.9/10 Greak work Achroo ;v ;
I forgot how sophisticated this was, still sounds fresh as heck, the atmosphere is so hooking and really well achieved, the melody is perfectly simple and catchy. I don't think you should need to change anything about it, I personally have nothing I dislike about it anyway and it definitely rivals a lot of the best recommendations you've gave me on here. Sorry, I don't like being so unhelpful and repeating myself, but it is impressive. I don't agree with MinNin about adding a drop or something, it's not that type of electronic music I'm assuming and it definitely justifies itself the way it is now.

I get sort of a "This war of mine"-vibe from it in the beginning, or some other slightly gritty indie title. I enjoyed it.

That's actually a pretty damn good intro. I love how it progressed through the first minute or so. Just when it started to feel a tad repetitive, it changed for the better with an amazing bridge, leading to a really interesting buildup. The drop was actually satisfying, something I'd definitely make, judging by that despairing mood. I though it ended a bit too soon though, more could've been done with it. Eventually it leads to a break, which was still nice to listen to. From there on, it was great. That piano outro was fucking lovely.

All in all, a great experience.

Wow, a pretty interesting mood there, the atmosphere is good too.

Some pretty good song-building here, I like how it progresses. It flows together well and sounds well-made.

Glitchy and grim but on the technical side it just doesn't feel that good. I want to like this more than I legitimately do.

Achromalia

Interesting, it plays around with a lot of stuff, seemingly blending in certain genres, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Sounds like the stuff I used to listen to when I was 8 or 9, more on the Trance side of things.

Jon Hopkins...?

Sounds... familiar.

This one might sound a bit strange.

6.43/10 It's certainly an interesting composition and plays a lot around with static and scratches. Not really my kind of thing, but refreshing regardless

I don't have a rating for this one but I just wanna say I fucking love Ryoji Ikeda. data.matrix is one of my all-time favourite songs.

Hell yeah. I've always enjoyed Ikeda's work, and the dataplex series was nice.
Rook
6.8/10 Fun stuff, a little bit unremarkable but I can get into it.

Lovely. The instrumentation makes for a nice experience. Though there isn't anything much in particular to say about it, everything still sounded great.

Achromalia
6.91/10

Hmm. Not exactly my type of genre, but I definitely dont mind it.

It's kinda generic, or rather, it just doesn't do anything exactly interesting, experimental, or outstanding, but for what it does do, it's pretty good. I dont have any complaints in particular.

It seems to carry some sort of weight to it, which helps, I guess. Decent overall.

7.2/10, Listened to the 'Saqriphrx' album a while ago thanks to you, was pretty decent. Stellar sound although this doesn't really catch me for some reason , 3:00 is hot stuff.

Achromalia
7.85/10

...Whoah. This is really nice. I love how serene and harmonic it is.

I think it'd be pretty fitting as something within one of my playlists. It just works really well as one of those transitioning songs.

Saqriphrx was pretty good, I enjoyed the majority of the work Feryquitous does.

Rook
6.5/10. It's okay, noisy and bold which I somewhat enjoy it for, some sections like the intro and the outro descend into complete ear-rape garbage though which just deters me.

Achromalia
7.19/10

Hmm. The first two minutes are good, but get a bit long for to not much changing. That's mostly excused though, since it's pretty nice to listen to anyways. Well, it turns out that while there isn't much progression going on, the parts that do change happen to be pretty good. The singing from later on added to the experience. A decent ending as well.

It's a pretty decent song overall.

Rook wrote:

big oof

But it's understandable. Yeah, it did bother me somewhat when I first heard it. It can hurt by listening to those sections. Aside from that, I loved the rest of the song. I guess it's alright though, as our tastes are bound to differ at some point.

Pretty rare that someone would enjoy everything I listen to so ye -w-

Rook
7.3/10 Calm and easy, nice vibes although it's nothing that new.

Yah, I understand why you like it anyway, it's just that intentional 'noise' is high on my no-no list... I'm fine with music trying to make a point using novelty ways like that, but doesn't mean I have to pretend I like listening to it. Thick asf accents and whiny singing is something I really have a hard time looking past though ;v ;.

Achromalia
7.28/10

Fairly energetic. I like a lot of the instrumental stuff here, and it might grow on me over time. Something I'd be alright with listening to in the background. It definitely has some decent progressions, with certain breaks like 3:49.

That outro is atmospheric as hell and I'm liking that.

Huh. This is pretty nice for the most part. Kind of generic for the choruses/drops, but they're decent ones nonetheless. It's generally pleasing to listen to so that's what counts. Just a bit generic.

A pretty solid bit of Ambient material. I think I could see why you might like it. Pretty for a song of the Ambient genre, decent as a song overall.
