Oh demn i think this game is good rhythm game so i decided to make a better OP. halp pls



Cytus is a rhythm game developed by Rayark Inc. It's gameplay are similar to DJMAX Technika's. Currently available on iOS , Android and PSVita

Cytus is not free on App Store (iDevice) :o
I hope they'll make a free version for iDevice like Android

I find the gameplay to not be that intuitive.
Well frankly speaking, compared to the other rhythm games I've played (jubeat, reflectbeat, osu!, taiko, DJMax Portable and Technika, etc.), it plays more "awkwardly" to me.

Cytus has a ridiculously lenient judgement and the chains are somewhat weird to pull off. you have to slide way earlier otherwise it breaks your combo even if you're following the timeline properly.

Well, there's always the less lenient TP for each song, instead of Million.

I do like this game, mostly because it's one of the more polished rhythm games for android. The beatspam for stuff like Halcyon is really dumb on small screens though. Then there's the triple or quadruple beat gimmick on Darkness which is... meh.

well, but it has some positive points, like we can play it everywhere, since it's developed for mobile phone.

and idk if it's not free in iOS, since i don't have any apple product :P but having the free ver. is not absolutely comfortable.

this game is kinda difficult and i rarely get an over 95% TP D:

but this game is nice nevertheless. gonna work on my skills <.< im envious to those players i see on yt :/

Cytus is a ton of fun, though it isn't too hard to get "Master" at some songs (if you disregard tp).

Ton of fun though. Even more fun on iPad. :D

afaik freedom dive will be released once cytus gets updated to 5.0.
anyway, Deemo is also worth trying. it's also made by rayark so i guess cytus players would like this game too.
most of the songs though are quite warm and mellow.

Is it even possible to play the jackhammer songs on a phone anymore (Keyword: phone)

Don't get me wrong, I still love Cytus, but freedom dive's chart is a load of crap

It's pretty forgiving. It's much easier to get Perfects than in most Rhythm games.

I did purchase Cytus Lambda for my Vita.

And oh god the Symphony Chapter is <3

Cytus Lamba is free to download for PS Vita.
Although the only playable chapter is Chapter 1, everything else is locked.
Unlike the Android/iOS version, you don't need to download each chapter/song individually.

It's basically one purchase for the entire game and all the songs. ($11.99)
If there's a new chapter, it's automatically unlocked.

I haven't even S'd L yet because of how small the Vita's screen is ;_;

Which reminds me, what are your pop-up settings?
None? Default? Group?
