but on a side note, one horse sized duck, as it was shown by some principle that they wouldn't be able to stand up properly.
...I think that if you suspend your disbelief enough to the point that a horse-sized duck exists you should also assume it can fight you properly. It's kind of part of the imagination package, isn't it?
