At a chemical shop you need to apply for a membership to purchase merchandise. The memberships comes in five levels, Bronze, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Diamond.

A Silver Membership costs $108.
A Gold Membership costs $197.
A Platinum Membership costs $195.

How much does a Diamond Membership cost?

Bronze (1)
Gold (2)
Silver (3)
Platinum (4)

now diamond counted as #5 membership, so it wont cost anything since it didn't exist in the first place?
NoHitter
That's too nitpicky ;_;
Changed it such that there are five now.
silmarilen
12 dollar
winber1
but according to yahoo answers, diamond has 8 carbons in a unit cell, so would it actually be $96? or am i thinking too much about this.

don't worry guys, i entrust my life to yahoo answers. nbd
NoHitter
Silmarilen got it right.
For those who are wondering how he got it, the values are the respective atomic weights of the elements the represent.
A diamond is pure carbon so its atomic weight is 12.

all you learn in college nowadays is that league of legends is the way to go
silmarilen
someone else can post
-Seren-
hmm.. im gonna take silmarilen's turn

What goes on four legs in the morning, on two legs at noon, and on three legs in the evening?

i think this is quite easy though
silmarilen

-Seren-
ahaha ye. and it's also the sphinx riddle. and i knew somebody's gonna answer it immediately. lol
silmarilen
someone else can post one again, im very bad at comming up with this stuff
Moriya Suwako
Ok, lemme post one. :)
An easy logical question:
Jim found someone stole his books yesterday. He gathered four people who came to his home yesterday(And they were the only four):
Ben said: The book thief was among Carl, Cloud and Tom!
Carl said: I didn't steal the book! I'm sure Cloud was the thief!
Cloud said: The book thief was either Ben or Tom!
Tom said: I agree with Carl!
After several investigations, Jim found two of them was true and the other two lied.
Then find out who's the thief. :D

Tom is the thief

Ben is saying the truth
Carl is lying
Cloud is saying the truth
Tom is lying

(In case I'm right)
You are given the answers given by 10 students in a multi-selection test, along with their scores.
The tests consists in 12 questions with 4 alternatives (A, B, C and D), only 1 alternative is right for each question. Each correct answer increases score by 10, and each wrong answer gives zero score.

What are the correct answers for each question?
winber1
1)A 2) A 3)C 4)B 5)C 6)B 7)B 8)A 9)D 10)D 11)A 12)C

full tablet's answer seems right so i'm assuming he's correct and I'm just gonna solve his question for the hell of it. if I'm right i'm not going to post a question cuz i have none. Didn't double check my work at all so idk, maybe made a mistake. Too many letters to double check my work :(

Let's make a new rule, even if you know your answer is 100 % perfect, don't post any new questions. please wait for at least 24 hours, if in 24 hours they didn't give any respond, you can post new question. sounds good?

I'm so sorry :(
then full tablet, it's your turn. :)

Since my previous question was answered rather quickly, I will ask a slightly harder version of the previous question (or maybe easier for you since it has less data).

You are given the answers given by 7 students in a multi-selection test, along with their scores.
The tests consists in 6 questions with 4 alternatives (A, B, C and D), only 1 alternative is right for each question. Each correct answer increases score by 10, and each wrong answer gives zero score.

Forgot to add that I don't have a question. Anyone else can ask.

Full Tablet, is there a name for a 'puzzle' like that?

It's based on Puzzle 151 (John's Score) of "Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box" (though that version is much easier).
KinkiN
Kay then i'll take the question
The question is taken from ( omg if i put the source you can answer the question easily )

Hasil dari = Calculate

Is the answer C? Let the numerator part be x, denominator part be y, then x^2=6x,x=6, y^2=2y, y=2, then x/y=6/2=3, hence C is correct.
My teacher taught us how to solve this kind of question before.(although I don't think CIE exam will have such hard questions). ;)
KinkiN
Well, that's correct. go ahead

Anyone else can ask~ :)
Senritsu
okay i will ask..
a super easy and simple question
i will only give 2 sample, because it's easy to guess

8 + 8 = 4
10 + 5 = 3

how about 5 + 8?
silmarilen
1?
Raging Bull
3?

0?
See the calculator or keyboard to shift digits.
8+8->5+5=10->1->4
10+5->07+2=9->3
5+8->2+5=7->0
Senritsu
simarilen got it right..

it's a clock

8+8 = 16 = 4 pm
10+5 = 15 = 3pm

so 5+8= 13 = 1pm

2 trains drive towards eachother on a railway of 200km, one train drives 100 km/h and the other drive 50 km/h
in between them flies a bird that flies with 150 km/h from one train to the other untill it reaches the other train, then it turns around and flies back to the train where it started untill it reaches that train again and then turns around again, and so on and so on
how much km will the bird have flown by the time the trains reach eachother?
Topic Starter
Knarf
Time for flying= 200/(100+50) =1.33 hr
distance the fly flied= 1.33 x 150 =200 km
silmarilen
that is correct

Okay I post. I can't think of any so it is easy.

A clock chimes 4 times in 3 seconds.
What is the time for the clock chiming 7 times?

Depends in how are the chimes distributed, and also other things.

Assuming that the clock chimes at a constant rate, and each chime has no time duration, then it would be 6 seconds.
Chime-1Second-Chime-1Second-Chime-1Second-Chime-1Second-Chime-1Second-Chime-1Second-Chime

If each chime has a duration, and each chime is counted only if it is heard fully
1) Chime Sounds A seconds.
2) B seconds of silence.
3) Chime Sounds A seconds.
4) B seconds of silence.
5) Chime Sounds A seconds.
6) B seconds of silence.
7) Chime Sounds A seconds.
8) B seconds of silence.
9) Chime Sounds A seconds.
10) B seconds of silence.
11) Chime Sounds A seconds.
12) B seconds of silence.
13) Chime Sounds A seconds.

Where A and B are any real positive values that satisfy 4A+3B = 3
And 7 Chimes would take 7A+6B seconds.

So, if the chime rate is constant, the answer is a value between 5.25 and 6 seconds.

My expression is poor. :P

Yes it is 6 seconds.

What is the minimum amount of moves needed to solve this Rubik's Cube? (Turning a face -90°, 90° or 180° counts as 1 move)

No Rubik puzzle needs more than 20 moves to be solved.
