Hello everyone,
Have you ever wanted to join a social network which its core is Otaku related stuff? Well you just fund the place to start. How so? Please let me to explain you what is ShiroChan, how you can use it, why its been made and how you can help

What is ShiroChan?
ShiroChan is a social network made by otakus for otakus. Its been under development for some time already, but now reached a stage where we can allow genersl user to register and use this network. In other why of saying , you could say ShiroChan is just like Facebook, but for otakus.
We wanted to offer asystem which is already known by so many and which is easy to understand and use.
Mostly we tryed to go a fast as legaly we are alowed, so, yeah fb for otaku :-)

What to expect?
A friendly comnity where you can talk about what you love (anime, manga, cosplay, music, videos, games, etc).
An easy to use interface, events, groups to join, live webchat ( fb style and osu style), forums and games (will be added in the near future)
Other than that, you can be sure that we have big plans/ideeas so you won't be borred while using ShiroChan.

What you can do on ShiroChan?
When fb fails ti connect to your fellow otakus, you can be sure that on ShiroChan everyone will share the same passion with you. You won't need to ask youself if x or y like anime, manga, etcyou just need to add him/her to your friend list and start talking, simple as that

How you can help?
First join us and left your fellow otakus know about ShiroChan, later you can join for example our Country Managers team and help grow use in your country, or you can help us to translate the network or simply report the bugs you encounter.

What ShiroChan.me stands for?
Shiro is the japanese word for white.
Chan stands for something small and cute
.me for something personal like your ShiroChan profile.

Perhaps you shouldn't label yourselves as "otaku" since that's essentially a derogatory term

It's a Japanese word, stop changing the meaning just because you heard it said by weaboos who themselves don't know what it actually means

Yes it is, but as pointed above, we just released it for general use.
So, right now, you will see only my alpha testers and administrative team.

I think the Facebook one is bugged, but I'll have a look at it really soon.

This seems really nice from a business perspective, I hope it works out for you. It's probably really awkward when people share/tweet Otaku stuff on facebook, so having something just for this is useful. And I know there's people like me who just have that urge to share things with people.

This was one of the main factor which made me to launch this.

It's awesome to have a network for otakus. At least people don't judge you if they see that you're into things like incest or shotacon or whatever.
