I always use DirectX. After update it says my graphic card does not support Shader Model 1.1+ and i should swap to OpenGl. I clicked 'yes' but it doesn't work propely, so I change it to DirectX. Osu restart and the same thing pop up, but when i click 'NO' osu doesn't open. Can somebody help me? Now I can't play.

(btw. when I use OpenGl osu is mega laggy, I can't even move my mouse )

Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date.

try hold shift when opening osu! and say no to OpenGL then. might not make a difference, but worth a shot

I get this sometimes when my computer gets really hot. Just stick to DirectX and when the error message opens up, select No (don't switch to openGL) and keep doing what you were before.

Before update osu worked properly. I try with shift, but nothing change.

It's just doesn't open when I click 'no' (I must play on directx). When I try change to directx in options osu restart and that annoying massage pop up again then I can't do anything, because when I click 'no' osu close, when I click 'yes' (opengl) osu opens laggy (I can't play with it).

What is your PC (Laptop?), What is your GPU (Geforce / radeon or integrated?).

Sometimes a simple computer restart may work, because your graphic card driver didn't run properly.

If issue persists, I would suggest on reinstalling graphic card driver. I'd ask what Marcin asked first, just in case.

Do you have anything else which uses Direct X open at the time?
This problem happens to me when I have another Direct X application open at the same time so that may be the problem.
