What Madlollipop says about your timing is true. If you set it at 110.00, it falls behind a lot near the end, 110.05 seems to work as the timing. (Weird)

i agree with Gabe. this needs more work. well, you already know how to use distance snap and mostly your rhythm and hitsound is consistent, which is a good starter. but the thing is, you should take a look at ranked maps these day. they can help a lot

I forgot how I got into this map...
nvm I'm gonna give some suggestions.
You rhythm is great, but in hard and insane, it gave me a feeling that it's flowing like a circle, continuously and continuously...
It's not wrong but the pattern is too simple.
One of the reason is that you use too few repeated sliders.
I suggest you to relocate all the notes with reference to other's map (in other word, remap, sorry :( )
afaik you cannot open two osu at the same computer, so if you have both laptop and desktop, it's great to copy the pattern.
For the easy and normal, the flow is good. It's better to slightly improve the pattern, though.

I'll split in different part per each diff.

[General]

You should use the same kiai time that i put on my diff i think it's better. In the two cases, kiai times must be the same on all diff so if another guy say what kiai time are the best we should follow it.

I like the background but not the combo colours, but i don't have any idea to choose good so we cannot care about that.

Break times you put are too much long, try to reduce it by at least two / breaks. People could be easily bored about that.

[Eazy]

General :


- Imo, the rythm seems good but there's too too too much copy/paste on patterns, then the patterns itself are too much hortizontaly or verticaly, of course it's an easy diff but not a boring diff.

- Also, don't abuse reverses in somes sliders, 1 or 2 as suffisant for long sliders.

Hitsounds :


- 00:04:599 : No finish.
- 00:06:234 : Add clap.
- 00:06:779 : No finish.
- 00:08:415 : Add clap.
etc etc etc to 00:12:777.
- 00:13:322 : No finish on these 4 circles
- 00:13:867 : Add clap
- 00:14:957 : ^ (same)
- 00:17:132 : Begin => No finish / Add clap; End => No clap.

Etc etc etc... for the others parts which are copy paste of it.

Anyway, this is kind to be more intresting here, but it's not really hard for an hard diff, the slider velocity here is the same as normal diff, try to increase it a little more (be conscient that the maphas to be change a too with this), and in an hard diff try to make some spacing by using the distance spacing option and start some stream (1/4 timings) with circles and/or sliders like i did on my insane diff, just try to see the middle way by not using too much.

Song setup -> Diff settings :

HP + 1
AR + 2
OD + 2

Hitsounds :


Same as before.

Patterns :


- 00:15:503 : Too much reverse on this slider. Decrease it and add some slidesr/circles.
- 00:40:855 : Be carefull about the position of the objects. For example, this circle and the next one haven't the same Y position.
- 00:41:673 : Again too much reverse arrows.
- 00:52:304 : Here is a nice example of positions mistake about the Y positions too.
- 01:03:481 : Break should start here.
- 01:20:927 : Be carefull about not stacktoo much circle on the same place (2 - 3 are correct).
- 02:11:086 : Marathon of circles Oo, replace some of them by sliders please.
- 02:28:260 : About this circles, try to put it at the same position as the circle n°3 before, again, be really crefull about the positions.

[Insayne]

General :


As like as hard diff, same slider velocity, in an insane diff here it must be at least 2.00.
An insane diff has to be mapped like an "artwork" you have to use spacing and stream if the music can, you have to make the player enjoying the insane because it's where the best players need to have challenges. So take pleasure to map it and no to have something like the hard diff.

Song setup -> Diff settings :

HP + 1
AR + 2
OD + 2

Hitsounds :


Again same.

Patterns :


- 00:51:759 : Too much circles here. Try to put a slidder on the middle.

How do you add a guest difficulty from another user to your own osu! game?

Before you'll do what i'm saying make sure to have a copy of the folder if you're doing something wrong.

Just DL what i gave you, put it on the folder "SPICE GIRL wannabe" on the osu! folder (Program files/osu!/music/XXXXX spice girl wannabe), change my file on .txt and replace the BeatmapSetID:99778 on my file. Rename in .osu and update it like you did on your all maps.

  1. AR9 makes no sense at all. The map lacks intensity required for AR9 to work well, not to mention song is only 110BPM. AR8 please.
  2. Well to be frank, this difficulty is a bit disappointing. Way, waaaaaaay too easy. There's little to no challenge at all.
  3. Reason is: As well as not having the best choice of rhythm, you also only mapped to vocals, which doesn't really... do much, most of the time. Adding some rhythm mapping would really boost fun as well as make the difficulty more challenging.
  4. Also, I suggest mapping up to the very end of the song. Easily done, and I think it'll fit more.
00:11:141 (1,3) - This is an Insane, it definitely would not it hurt to map out the vocals here
00:15:503 (1) - Map vocals until 00:16:593, then start spinner.
00:17:956 (1) - Same thing as before, this is something I expect in a Hard diff.
00:28:588 (1,2) - And again as before, this is something I would expect in a Normal diff.

Well in short, many things are too easy. The only thing challenging about the map is AR9, which is no. HP Drain is weirdly low too, having it at 7 is usually good. But again, map is too easy. Too easy. Easy peasy, lemon squeasy.

  1. Well at the very least, it's nice to find Insanes which are too easy rather than too hard. Still, this diff. here is a legit Hard diff.
  2. And please, no AR9, it doesn't fit. Also no OD5, it is ridiculously low.
  3. I also suggest mapping to very end of song.

My suggestion is to look at a map with a very solid difficulty spread and to get ideas from that on how to make your map better. Feel free to message me in-game if you need assistance, as long as you're willing to put in the effort, I'd be more than willing to help.

Aldwych, i'm not telling you to make the hardest map, i'm saying that as it is now, even casual Insane players will have trouble enjoying the map. the whole purpose of having a wide range of difficulties in a mapset is so that it can be enjoyed by many players of different skill. if there's going to be a mapset with 5 difficulties (or 6, as there looks like there might be), it's even more important for those difficulties to be varied.

Well, we can talk about it with YOURS and vahn10 about, the diffs, if vahn10 made an hardest diff than mine, i can transform it into an hard(+) because, mine is a bit too hard for an hard diff, then we can offer YOURS to stop his insane + hard and keep focusing on the easy and normal diff.

In this case, i can make a big refont of my diff.

Hard: Fine
Insane: Up the OD by 2 (hard should not be higher than insane)
Vahn: Fine
Aldwych: Fine

This is if you have a storyboard, which you don't.
Turn it off on both Guest Difficulties to match your own.



I was skimming through the diffs, one major unrankable issue was in Vahn's difficulty

00:14:412 (3,4) - you cannot hide reverse arrows on sliders. This needs to be changed.

I want to start by saying that DS 1,0 is too high for this diff. Change it and replace oblects with new DS.
And I don't recommend you to map with so big grid size. Press G to make it smaller.
00:26:407 (1,2,3,4,5) - Horizontal circles and sliders are too boring. Try to vary this pattern.
00:40:582 (3,1) - Bad overlap.
00:46:034 (1) - You have some more sliders like this, it's boring too. Make some sliders or notes instead of so many reverses.

Offset: 237, and then resnap all notes, it won't affect the map. Remember doing this in all difficults.

[Easy]

The tags on this difficult conflicts with the others, you should delete all tags in this difficult and then copy-paste other difficult's tags.

02:38:074 (2,3) - These things are kind of hard for an easy, as a suggestion you can replace them with sliders.

[Normal]

00:11:412 (2) - This circle is not snapped, just grab it and move it to the red tick.

[Hard]

01:37:011 (4,5) - These slidesr are not snapped, grab them both and then move them through the ticks and back to their place. Or delete and make them again.
