[Archived] osu! Maintenance crash bug

Problem details:
I woke up this morning and got ready for my day. I still had time, so I decided to log onto osu. I booted up my laptop and started osu. The first problem: I was logged out, despite still having Remember Username and Remember Password on. I logged in and fixed all my settings, and all was good. Until I entered the Solo Play song select. My osu! window went to a black screen and I was greeted with a window saying "Hi! osu! is performing some maintenance" then the game crashed. I have tried entering the menu several times, and nothing seems to work. Help?

osu! version: Stable 20210520.2 (latest)

Did the game actually crash, as in it fully closed, or did it just freeze? That performing maintenance window will only appear when the game is actively trying to fix itself because something is broken and sometimes it can take a bit to complete.

If the game actually closed, please post the "runtime.log" file from the Logs folder in your osu! install directory. Then also check your event viewer to try and find a crash log. This guide will explain what to look for: wiki/en/Help_Centre#event-viewer

Can you post your runtime.log file as well? Make sure you get it before restarting the game, otherwise it will reset.
