2:19:017 - slider is hidden a little too well, easily mistaken for a beat. but that's just me.

hello the offset is a bit early, try offset 11ms
source and tags need to be added to the beatmaps

Hard:

some combos are pretty long. think of dividing them to smaller ones 5~7
02:01:088 (7) - the timing section here is a bit to early i think. it will make the slider path sound become loud close to the end.

4:17:153 suggestion: another slider would be nice here :)

easy:
00:45:001 (4) - sounds better as finish than clap to me..
02:03:076 (2,3) - could be aligned on top of each other slightly better (turn off grid snap)
02:25:099 (1) - sounds better ending at 02:27:087

hard:
01:08:058 (2,4) - put 4 directly under 2
02:46:089 (7,8) - align together?
04:24:039 (3) - odd place to end..why not wait until the very end then fade out

[General] when there are soft sounds along the song, lower the hitsounds's volume!

Easy
01:10:019 (2) - whistle instead of clap here

02:24:039 (3) - soft finish for this slider
02:25:099 (spinner) - add a finish hitsound and end it on 02:29:750 (red timing tick)

Hard
00:50:090 (5) - soft finish on this slider's end
01:01:062 (5,6) - end these sliders with soft finish
03:01:089 (11) - remove hitsound's volume on this slider's end

... maybe there are TOO many hitsounds (especially whistles...) in some sections, but beatplacing was fine. Have your star! :3

This song length is 4 minute and 30 second, so long in Hard. And this map has 3 difficulty.>w<
Fortunately, prologue part is over 30 second so I will modding. You have lucky! ;)

02:07:247 (1) Put another note instead of spinner. After spinner, appear circle right away so can't hit it easily in normal.

[Hard]
01:17:157 (6) Remove Clap and add finish.
02:14:211 (8) Remove whistle. But remove way is a little difficult. When you click this slide note in timeline(like a picture), then remove whistle. Because Normal whistle sound occur a little.

(Remember, when circle which is part of slide note surrounded red line, then is removed effect sound this part only.)


03:34:032 (10) Change to normal circle, and add some note with new combo.

Fixed all but those, the slider itself isn't hidden, and the repeat shows up late enough imo that it's ok (I'll change if a BAT or someone else has an issue though), and I just like the finish sounds better than whistles there.

Fine with me. I checked for the artist and got just Owl City. If he wants to change then he can, but the bubble is already here if he doesn't. Call me back for a rebubble if you change it, though.

I'll leave it as just Owl City since that's how it shows in my mp3s, and I need a better mp3 for viewtopic.php?t=20468, not this :P I've got one already though, just need to get it revived sometime soon.

you need to do a full submit. The file OwlCityStars.jpg isn't used but is in the osz/folder.

Switch that .mp3, it's horrible. OwlCityStars.jpg and the .osb are still in the folder, remove them. Artist is Owl City ft. Breanne Düren regardless of what your .mp3 is telling you.

K I'm stupid. How to change artist without submitting a whole new song/thread? Or is that what I have to do?

And I have a higher quality mp3, but it's a different version of the song so I can't use it.

Awesome. I've only got few comments regarding artistic look and feel of map. :P

I dont like the white outline of background; I can fix it if you want.

There is a lot of notes which seem like they should align with the center of screen (the center of spinners), but do not. You might try to nudge all notes one smallest grid down to fix it.

[Easy]
00:35:372 (2,1,2) - end/startpoints of (2) and (2) do not match, it'd look better if they did.
02:07:514 (1,1) - make these more perfect?

[Normal]
01:27:604 (5) - try to make it centered horizontally?

[Hard]

Make sure to fix offset after changing it.


If you think that 7.4 MB is too much, let me know, i'll recompress it with 192 kbps quality (it will be ~5.5 MB).

Ehhhh... that's the same mp3 as the one I have but can't use. There's 2 different versions of this song, 1 from the album Maybe I'm Dreaming (the one I mapped) and 1 from Ocean Eyes (where your mp3 and my other, HQ one, come from). I can't use either of them since they're a different song and would require too much remapping.

Anyone have a higher quality rip of Maybe I'm Dreaming?

And I'm still stumped as to how to change the artist without making a new thread.

The only real difference I noticed was shorter intro. Don't be lazy.

The Ultimate Guide To Changing Artist Name / Song Title by Gens:

1. - Make sure you have the previous artist/title you were using before attempting to do this.
2. - Check back the menu if it says "Latest version but not approved".
3. - Enter to the editor again in any difficulty.
4. - Change the artist/title in that difficulty, and save.
5. - Now Full Submit - without going back to the menu.
6. - Wait...
7. - Once it's done, fix the artist/title in the other difficulties.
8. - Now a Standard submission will do.
9. - Done! Make sure you fix the thread title too; it isn't fixed by the BSS.

Actually there's quite a few different parts, so I'm hunting for a higher quality version of Maybe I'm Dreaming.

Thanks a ton for helping me fix the artist though :D

Edit: Eh... I think I broke something. [Easy] always says it needs to be updated to the latest version, but it won't. And if I try to reupload any difficulty on either submission method, it tries to make a new thread.

Have you changed all difficulties to the right name? If you did, try standard submission. Maybe that works. If not: contact peppy i guess.
