  1. 00:13:662 (3) - Consider adding a new combo here. The color cues from a new combo would make the change in timing here easier to read.

  2. 01:06:995 (3,4) - aaaa blue tick slider! This pattern doesn't seem to match the rhythm of the song. The vocal starts at 01:06:995 but your slider for it starts at 01:07:079 . If you want to keep the (3-4) double here, try moving 01:06:995 (3) back to 01:06:912 , and 01:07:079 (4) back to 01:06:995 . Then extend (4) by 1/4. This keeps the 3/4 feel that you're going for, as well as the double on the (4) slider, but this way you have the (4) slider start with the vocal, rather than after it. You also avoid having a slider start unexpectedly on a blue tick.

  3. 01:18:995 (3,4,5) - Same issue as above. This pattern doesn't seem to match the rhythm of the song. It's weird to play through, and hard to read since people don't expect slider to start on a blue tick in a map that's focused on 1/2 rhythms. The vocal starts at 01:18:995 (3) so intuitively you'd map the start of a slider here, instead of at 01:19:079 (4) . If you want to keep the 3/4 feel here, you could try extending 01:18:662 (2) to end at 01:18:912 .

  4. 01:30:329 (1,2) - This 1/1 gap might be hard to read. Since you've got a 1/1 pause stack just before this at 01:29:495 (3,4) , players would tend to expect 1/1 gaps to be pause stacks in this section. Combined with the spacing here which is very similar to the spacing for the 1/2 jump at 01:29:995 (5,6) , this gap might be confusing and difficult to read for players. I don't think this is too much of a problem honestly, but if more people bring this up you might want to think about changing it.

  5. 01:37:995 (1,3) - These repeats are love.

  6. 02:22:162 - This second kiai doesn't have the blue tick slider issues like the first one does. Overall, this section plays well.

  7. 02:30:329 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - This is nice! The (5-1) arrangement has interesting flow.

  8. 02:42:329 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Messy stream. It's not really noticeable during actual play, but it's better if it's neat, right?

  9. 02:46:329 (1,2,3,4) - I don't like these. The repeats themselves already add enough of a "stall" effect to this section; the stacks are unnecessary in my opinion and sort of kill the flow more than they have to. I also don't think that there's anything in the music that would be matched by using stacks here. Personally, I would unstack the hitcircles, and rearrange the repeat sliders a bit. 216,212 seems like a good spot for 02:46:329 (1) ; it might be fun to stack the (3) hitcircle here as well, and then stack the (4) repeat directly onto the (2) repeat.

    It's a silly technique that might work, though this sort of perfect pattern repetition doesn't really seem to be your style. Anyway, it's fun to experiment a bit with things like this.

  10. 02:56:495 (4,5,6,7) - Slight overmapping. No instrument plays notes on the blue ticks here. Overmapping like this could work, but it depends on how you hitsound it.

  11. 02:58:245 - I'd sort of like this guitar note here to be mapped. What you have now is fine, but it would be nice for me personally to be able to tap something here!

  12. 03:38:995 (5,6) - These sliders aren't parallel. So it's a slight issue with symmetry but it's not really a huge deal; you don't have to fix it if you don't want to. Personally I think this pattern would look better if they were parallel.
Fantastic mapping! Fycho maps are always quality maps, and this one is no exception. You're one of the most stable mappers that I know, with a clean style, intuitive object patterns, and consistent rhythm. This map expands on the traditional jumpy 1/2-snapped 1.8 SV mapping style by your frequent use of 3/4 rhythms and clever application of exaggerated spacing. These sorts of things help to make the map a fun and unique experience. The quality of this map is just so much higher than what like, 99% of mappers out there can produce (aka I wish I could map like this ;_;).
[Hard]
  1. 03:01:829 (4,1,2) - The spacing here might be hard to read. The stack does make it seem somewhat like a 1/4 timing, and the 1/4 gap just before this at 03:01:829 (4,1) sort of prepares the player into thinking that this could be another 1/4. Also, you skip over a downbeat here, so the delay feels mistimed even if you are following the guitar. Adding a new combo to 03:02:829 (2) and removing the new combo from 03:02:162 (1) might help. I personally don't think this is too much of an issue honestly since it wasn't a problem for me after the first testplay, but if other modders mention this as well you should think about changing it.
This is a well-designed map. The level of difficulty here isn't significantly easier than your Insane, so it fits in the spread nicely. The jumps that you use feel appropriate and emphasize points of interest in the song. Your patterns look clean and play smoothly, and the map as a whole is very structured and organized, without feeling forced or overly geometric. There isn't much to point out in terms of potential problems, overall this is just a great map!

  1. Hitsounding: I think 70% volume works better than 60%. The hitsounds currently are really quiet and you can't really hear them, so the player doesn't receive too much audio feedback at the moment.

  2. I love how like, almost all of your 1/2 sliders have a midpoint anchor, even when they're perfectly straight anyway, like at 00:22:829 (3) .

  3. 00:44:995 - I like how you alternate between 1/2-double and 3/4-single object rhythms here. It makes this section much more interesting to play through.

  4. 01:00:829 (4,5,6,7,8,1,2,1) - hnnnngnglgrllglglll I love this so much. I love you. The 01:01:829 (1,2) jump right after the streamy bit is such a great way to start off the kiai. And these slider shapes omg.

  5. 01:02:162 - Oh wait and um speaking of kiai, shouldn't you turn it on here or something? And at 02:22:162 and 03:26:162 , to be consistent with Fycho's difficulties.

  6. 01:32:996 (1,2,3) - omg cRyo triangle hitsound here please

  7. 02:09:995 (5,6,7,8) - Consider using hitsound additions here. Right now the stream sounds somewhat empty, and there isn't much audio impact for landing these notes. A simple volume increase could work; soft-hitwhistles, like what you have at 02:27:245 (6,7,8,9,10) , and drum-hitnormals would also fit the song's instrumentation here pretty well, though it wouldn't be a problem to experiment with drum-hitclaps and drum-hitfinishes for a more dramatic effect. Technically that would be overmapping on hitsounds, but oh well~ RLC does it

  8. 02:51:329 - You've mapped this guitar solo section really well. The more creatively-shaped sliders here capture the tonal qualities of the guitar. You've mixed in 1/4 sliders and stacks into the fast-paced sections, and those help to make your patterns a unique experience compared to the usual stream patterns.
This map is so amazing. It has the classic cRyo trademarks: a panoramic 15° tilt, subtle slider bending, stacked geometry, lots of central hitcircle jumps, etc. (the only thing that's missing is this hitsound!) Stylistically, you can tell that is this definitely a cRyo map! As with Fycho's Insane, this map uses 1/4 timings extremely well, and they add exciting rhythm variety to the 1/2 dominance of the map. The jump patterns are so extremely well executed, everything in the map fits together structurally and there's so much variety in placement and composition and this is just such a fun map I love you

Please fix your laptop already so you can be online more and make more delicious maps like this, I can't live without cRyo ლ(´﹏`ლ)
[Laurier's Insane]
  1. Hitsounding: As with cRyo's Insane, the hitsound volume should be a bit louder in my opinion. It's hard to detect the audio feedback when the player taps a circle at the moment. You've got some really interesting hitsounding, so it wouldn't hurt to make it a bit louder for some sections so that the player can actually hear what you've done. The section at 00:44:995 for example should be slightly louder, to compensate for the increased volume in the song. Especially during the kiai sections, I can't really hear myself tapping the circles, unless I want to listen to my keyboard.

    Have you thought about using default soft-hitwhistle? This hitsound can add a lot to a map when used properly, since it's similar enough to soft-hitnormal to not sound obnoxious when spammed, but also different enough so that it can add emphasis to notes that you want to emphasize. Of course, you won't be able to use the default soft-hitwhistle sound wherever you're using soft-hitwhistle6, so...

  2. 01:11:495 (1,2) - This... looks like 1/4? Maybe that's just because when cRyo/Fycho stack something under a slider end it's usually 1/4, so I'm probably just used to that since I just modded their diffs. This is sort of an interesting idea though, so I wouldn't recommend that you change it unless more people bring it up. If you DO end up changing this though, don't forget 01:12:829 (1,2) as well.

  3. 01:23:662 - This is kiai, but 02:43:662 isn't. Is this intentional?

  4. 01:52:329 (4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4) - Personally I wish that you hadn't done this, because right after a stream it's somewhat difficult to not tap 01:53:162 (2) immediately, since there's that overlap. This sort of pattern is a bit necessary for structure though, since you also have 01:50:329 (1,2,3) and 01:54:162 (5,1,2) .

  5. 01:54:162 (5) - Other modders might complain about the combo pattern here, possibly suggesting that you remove the NC on 01:54:162 (5) and add an NC to 01:54:495 (1) . I'll just say now that I agree with your current combo pattern, as keeping 01:53:829 (4,5) together in the same combo helps to convey to the player that these are still 1/1 timings, and the (4-5) link feels pretty nice when you're actually playing through it.

  6. 02:37:995 (6,7,8,9) - Hitsound this, imo. A volume increase would work, though this could be a great place to use the default soft-hitwhistle. I think mini-streams like this in your map aren't as impactful as they could be, and hitsounding could help with this. I mean, you're mapping those streams to something, right? Why not hitsound that something?

  7. 03:06:995 (4,5,6,1) - Spacing here plays awkwardly. The overlapping 1/4 sliders don't really prepare the player well for handling the 1/4 jump to the (1) slider. I think you should consider spacing (4-5-6) out more, since overlapping (1) onto (6) would just look messy.
The outstanding aspect of this map is its structural integrity. Your sliders are consistently curved and arrangements are held together through excellent use of blankets, without making everything overly-blankety. Your choice of using straight sliders for some patterns also helps to add variety in flow and shape. Your patterns overall are neat and every object looks as if they were positioned with purpose. The hitsounding is good; I really like your use of soft-hitwhistle6 when I can actually hear it orz to add emphasis to the lower frequencies (though there isn't too much going on in the higher frequencies since you've skipped out on default soft-hitwhistle). Subtleties like the double clap at 00:16:662 (6,7) add a lot of character to the soundspace of the map.

There really aren't any technical issues for me to point out here, because as a whole the arrangement is very professional. Good work!

The vocal starts at 01:18:995 (3) so intuitively you'd map the start of a slider here, instead of at 01:19:079 (4) . If you want to keep the 3/4 feel here, you could try extending 01:18:662 (2) to end at 01:18:912 . ^

  4. 01:30:329 (1,2) - This 1/1 gap might be hard to read. Since you've got a 1/1 pause stack just before this at 01:29:495 (3,4) , players would tend to expect 1/1 gaps to be pause stacks in this section. Combined with the spacing here which is very similar to the spacing for the 1/2 jump at 01:29:995 (5,6) , this gap might be confusing and difficult to read for players. I don't think this is too much of a problem honestly, but if more people bring this up you might want to think about changing it.yep, nice catch, fixed

  5. 01:37:995 (1,3) - These repeats are love.xD

  6. 02:22:162 - This second kiai doesn't have the blue tick slider issues like the first one does. Overall, this section plays well.

  7. 02:30:329 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - This is nice! The (5-1) arrangement has interesting flow.:D

  8. 02:42:329 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Messy stream. It's not really noticeable during actual play, but it's better if it's neat, right?I think it plays not bad

  9. 02:46:329 (1,2,3,4) - I don't like these. The repeats themselves already add enough of a "stall" effect to this section; the stacks are unnecessary in my opinion and sort of kill the flow more than they have to. I also don't think that there's anything in the music that would be matched by using stacks here. Personally, I would unstack the hitcircles, and rearrange the repeat sliders a bit. 216,212 seems like a good spot for 02:46:329 (1) ; it might be fun to stack the (3) hitcircle here as well, and then stack the (4) repeat directly onto the (2) repeat. sorry I perferred my patterns because I like it.

    It's a silly technique that might work, though this sort of perfect pattern repetition doesn't really seem to be your style. Anyway, it's fun to experiment a bit with things like this.

  10. 02:56:495 (4,5,6,7) - Slight overmapping. No instrument plays notes on the blue ticks here. Overmapping like this could work, but it depends on how you hitsound it.This is fine imo

  1. 03:01:829 (4,1,2) - The spacing here might be hard to read. The stack does make it seem somewhat like a 1/4 timing, and the 1/4 gap just before this at 03:01:829 (4,1) sort of prepares the player into thinking that this could be another 1/4. Also, you skip over a downbeat here, so the delay feels mistimed even if you are following the guitar. Adding a new combo to 03:02:829 (2) and removing the new combo from 03:02:162 (1) might help. I personally don't think this is too much of an issue honestly since it wasn't a problem for me after the first testplay, but if other modders mention this as well you should think about changing it. I changed it to 1/2 slider ,now it's fine<3
This is a well-designed map. The level of difficulty here isn't significantly easier than your Insane, so it fits in the spread nicely. The jumps that you use feel appropriate and emphasize points of interest in the song. Your patterns look clean and play smoothly, and the map as a whole is very structured and organized, without feeling forced or overly geometric. There isn't much to point out in terms of potential problems, overall this is just a great map!

A simple volume increase could work; soft-hitwhistles, like what you have at 02:27:245 (6,7,8,9,10) , and drum-hitnormals would also fit the song's instrumentation here pretty well, though it wouldn't be a problem to experiment with drum-hitclaps and drum-hitfinishes for a more dramatic effect. Technically that would be overmapping on hitsounds, but oh well~ RLC does it no idea why it has drumm sample set now, mb my mistake, changed it to normal LRC 7

  8. 02:51:329 - You've mapped this guitar solo section really well. The more creatively-shaped sliders here capture the tonal qualities of the guitar. You've mixed in 1/4 sliders and stacks into the fast-paced sections, and those help to make your patterns a unique experience compared to the usual stream patterns.
This map is so amazing. It has the classic cRyo trademarks: a panoramic 15° tilt, subtle slider bending, stacked geometry, lots of central hitcircle jumps, etc. (the only thing that's missing is this hitsound!) Stylistically, you can tell that is this definitely a cRyo map! As with Fycho's Insane, this map uses 1/4 timings extremely well, and they add exciting rhythm variety to the 1/2 dominance of the map. The jump patterns are so extremely well executed, everything in the map fits together structurally and there's so much variety in placement and composition and this is just such a fun map I love you this is *notrianglestylemap* !

Please fix your laptop already so you can be online more and make more delicious maps like this, I can't live without cRyo ლ(´﹏`ლ) mapping so ✂ x....x
