Please read the rules regarding pooling format for this tournament since it's not the usually used one.

  1. This is a 2v2 double-elimination tournament osu!std, teams composed of 2 or 3 players.
  2. This is a regional tournament. Only players from the South American Region may participate on this tournament. You can find a list of South American countries here. Even though it's not on this list, Panama will count as an eligible country for this tournament. If you wish to enter the tournament but your flag is not on that list, contact me on discord Enhu#3081.
  3. Match format is Score V2 and Team Vs.
  4. NF will be active on every single map, ensuring that there will be no teamfails nor failed scores
  5. Rank limit for sign up is 1000+ (BWS).
  6. All players must be in the tournament discord in order to be able to participate.
  7. Only 32 teams will advance through qualifiers (subject to change depending on the amount of registered teams).
  8. Stages will be Qualifiers, Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, Finals and Grand Finals, each stage will last one weekend each.
  9. There will be 2 bans per team on each bracket stage. You may not ban the same mod twice, but you may pick the same mod in a row.
  10. The winner of the roll will decide whether they want to pick first or second, the loser decides whether they want to ban first or second.
  11. On Free Mod picks, there has to be at least 1 player with HD and 1 player with HR or HDHR.
  12. Warmups are allowed starting Round of 32, with a maximum of 4 minutes (a little bit more is also fine).
  13. All match times are in UTC-4, which is the middle time zone for all of South America (the other 2 being UTC-3 and UTC-5).
  14. Staff members are allowed to play with the exception of Poolers, Sheeters and Hosts.
  15. The Grand Finals will will have a bracket reset if needed.

Match format is Team VS, Score V2
NF will be active on every map, ensuring that there will be no teamfails nor failed scores
This also applies to qualifiers

Mods will be allowed on TB but not required.
Roll rules - for when captains !roll at the start of a match:
  1. The winner of the roll will decide whether they want to pick first or second.
  2. The loser of the roll will decide whether they want to ban first or second.
Qualifier Lobby Procedure
There can be a maximum of 8 teams in a lobby.
The referee will begin to invite players to the lobby 5-10 minutes before the scheduled lobby time, captains are expected to be online to receive the invite.
Players will have a 5 minute grace period to join the lobby before the lobby starts without them.
Qualifier lobbies will not have a warm up.
Once the lobby is ready, the referee will begin with the first map in the play order and cycle through maps in the given play order until.
Once all the maps in the pool have been played through once, the lobby is finished, and players are free to leave the lobby.

Qualifier Rules
  1. If a team misses their scheduled lobby, they can reschedule to a lobby available at a later time. This is only allowed once, if a player misses 2 lobbies without prior notice, they will be disqualified from the tournament.
  2. If a team is late for their match, each map they miss will be counted as a submitted score of 0. Teams will be allowed to replay missed maps at the end of the lobby.
  3. If a player disconnects at any point of the map they will be allowed to replay the map after the lobby has finished cycling through the map pool. This will only be allowed once, any further disconnections due to technical issues from the same player must be within the first 30 seconds of the map in order for a replay to be possible.
  4. The qualifier lobby should never abort a map after starting it due to a disconnection, the player/team will have a chance after the map, there is no need to hold up the entire lobby.
Tiebreaker Rules for Bracket Stages

All map pools are specifically designed so that when both teams reach match point, there will be 3 maps left.
Both team captains have to private message the referee on osu! or on discord which map they would like to ban out of the 3 maps within 90 seconds. Preferably don't use #multiplayer chat.
  1. If both teams ban different maps, the 3rd map is played.
  2. If both teams ban the same map, the referee does a !roll 2 to determine which map out of the remaining will be played, which also depends on the order of the maps left.
  3. If one team does not ban a map within the time limit, the other team is free to choose their choice of maps within the 3 maps.
  4. If neither team bans a map within the time limit, the referee does a !roll 3 to determine which map is played.

  16. Teams may choose to play another warm up before the bracket reset match begins.
  17. The Grand Finals and the bracket reset may be scheduled for different days or the next week if the teams do not have available time. This must be handled before the match, and no reschedule will be accepted after the first Grand Finals match has been played unless both teams agree.

Miscellaneous Rules
  1. If a team shows up after the match has been DQed and considered a no-show, they will be allowed to reschedule the match. This can be done only with the approval of the opponent, the referee of the DQed match, the host, and a referee to ref the rescheduled time.
  2. If a player disconnects within the first 1/4th of the map, they may reconnect within 10 minutes and replay the map. This will only be allowed once per lobby per player.
  3. If a player disconnects after 1/4 of the map has been played, their score will not count.
  4. If a player disconnects at any point near map completion, their score at the time of disconnecting will be counted if there is reliable evidence that they had that score.
Evidence counts as - a registered local score showing the time of the score, a stream/video/screenshot of the score before disconnecting, a referee in the lobby who had access to the live score during the match, scores being submitted in IRC, etc, ask the referee if you are not sure if something is counted as evidence or not.
  5. If the referee feels that a team or certain players in the lobby are prolonging the match or "stalling", they have the choice of enforcing a 90 second timer for bans, picks, and readying up.
If a team doesn't ban or pick on time once a timer is enforced, their ban or pick will be given to the opponent. This does not affect the order of bans/picks.
  6. If a team fails to ready up on time once a timer is enforced, the match will be forced to start by a !mp start 15 command.
(if they have to use the toilet, just let them go and give them an additional minute or two)
  7. If a player has technical difficulties downloading a map during the match, they will be given 5 minutes to resolve the issue. Maps should be downloaded before the match starts, so it is the player's responsibility to be prepared. If the issue isn't solved within the time limit, the match will be forced to start by a !mp start 15 command.
Throughout the tournament, referees will be trusted to make reasonable decisions on a case by case basis as each situation presents itself. If something is not stated in the rules, the referee will be allowed to make a judgement based on common sense and valid reasoning using logic and/or evidence.
