I've been running a PNG optimizer software on all of the images in the beatmap folder (called EDIT: pngslim... thanks to ziin for showing me this in my skin creation days) which analyses PNGs byte by byte to compress the images as much as possible with image property changes that are completely invisible to human eye.

Since this kind of filtering is so granular, it takes a while for it to execute... a week now :) but not because it really takes a week. It's just that I've been busy with work and all. I'm almost done.

I have chopped off a whooping 3 MB of data from the song folder so far! Will post the updated PNGs soon! I hope this will help keep this beatmap alive as well.

For some reason I understood 3MB, but it chopped off less than that D:.

Just drag and drop all the files from the zip folder to the song folder and 2.5MB of your song folder will magically disappear ~ (rounding up to 10.01 MB I think).

P.S.: This WILL NOT require people to redownload the song since it's basically the same images but taking less space. You can rest assured however that the compression of these pngs are at their maximum ;) . It makes the storyboard a tad lighter too!

Oh and in case you're going to change or use new PNGs in the future, you can download the tool here!. Just make sure the tool is extracted near the root directory (something like C:\pngslim\) because it is very picky on path names. To use it, copy the image you want to slim in that folder and then drag it over the executable... it will do the rest! Once done, just copy the image back in the song folder.

but if Helios give up this map, I'll take it to me, preserve Mathias' and Diamond and map the Hard and Normal (and keep Helios' Easy as a GD). Because I love this song too :)

It seems now I passed Diamond without NF mod lol~ singletapping (yeah, it's one of singletappeable Insanes we have on osu!) ~.~ and my mouse sucks (the reason behind bad results ><)

Hey, from my "non-japanese" Queue.

General

- Instead of the actual BG you could use somethng more dramatic for those who dont want to play with SB. Like this BG http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1071801 as your actual BG.
- Check all your tags, they are not fully consistant through the difficulties.
- Audio Lead in was automated so you should delete them as well.
- Filesize is pretty high, maybe you can reduce it by using smaller images?
- Your storyboarding is a nice attempt and very cheesy. You can still improve a few things if you want.
http://puu.sh/556xM.jpg , http://puu.sh/557jm.jpg - Sometimes the text goes too close to the edge or is cut off, which looks a little unattractive. Move it to another point, them all, where it ends earlier.
Some text is extremely slow and some very fast. You should make them equal, so they are both same speed. People might want to sing to it or read it and then get ripped out of the actual movement they used to have. As in the reading rythm. Fast. Slow. Fast.
You could place Rihanna (Ark.png) a little more right. The right side is very empty and with that it will be more balanced. It will sure look good too.
- Last but not least. Watch your combo patterns in all difficulties. On Easy http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1071806 first, there is only 1 NC and the NC should be swapped anyway. NC on 5 and remove 1. 00:39:730 (1) - This is also not needed due to the combos being short and thats how it should be. Ofc not too short c(;
- Skinwise, there is also a problem, a small one. Sometimes you might think http://puu.sh/557r4.jpg this is a slider tick. The left diamond. You maybe should put the diamonds onto the circle and not on the edge to avoid missunderstandings.

Easy

00:55:382 (3,4,1) - The angle of this pattern and flow is not good. The way the movement and how its played on this slider goes to the side 00:55:382 (3) - . If you place the next element under and right of the slider then the playment is not good. It can especially affect new players, due to them being only used to normal rows and not many other placements. You want to equal this 00:52:773 (1,3) - but you need to think of the playment too. 00:57:339 (4) - Needs to me much more left to be played good. Same with this 01:05:817 (2,3) - , 01:08:426 (4,5) - .
01:00:599 (1) - This needs to be lowered due to it touching the scores.
01:11:034 (1) - First of, the shape is very hard to read in general. It looks nice to have diamond shapes for this song yes, but they dont play good and can confuse because of it's shape. Maybe people dont see the start or else. You need to make this move obvious for how to play and make a better shape. This, for all shapes like that. Especially these 02:15:599 (2) - The repeat is not readable enough either.
01:16:904 (2) - If you place this on the right side instead of the left then it will flow and play better. The movement is very harsh, so it should be softened.
01:30:599 (1) - You should copy paste the same slider and make them stack. This may lead to confusion and unexpectations. It is really not expected. Find some other nice fitting slider instead.

Normal

- Your comboing is way too long. You really need to make them shorter to avoid stress for people when playing.

00:50:165 (1) - Needs to be lower, due to it touching the HP bar.

Visually you could improve this better, sometimes your placement can be better, but nice difficultie.

Hard

00:18:860 (5) - , 00:25:382 (2) - , 01:22:447 (2) - , 03:38:099 (3,4,5) - Needs to be lower, touches the HP bar or scores.
00:32:556 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - Watch your comboing, due to the copy paste symmetric pattern the combo is copy pasted as well. This changes your combo patterns. Remove every 2nd to fix this. Check this on the whole difficultie to avoid mistakes. I hope this makes you aware of the copy paste mistake.
01:15:599 (5,1) - The flow is not so good here. The long slider goes into the opposite direction where the next slider starts. This leads to lack of flow. You should move the small slider a little more up so the flow improves. Or you could simply move the curve of the long slider to the other side.
02:03:208 (6,7,8) - I dont think this jump fits good. The spacing is pretty normal here, so this play weird. Make normal spacing and try to fix it with changing it into the normal spacing.
02:11:034 (6,1) - These could be blanket way better with that slider 02:10:382 (5) -. It would look more attractive towards the player. Same here 02:18:208 (2,3) - , 02:37:121 (9,1) -
02:27:176 (1) - This circle is one too much, its the start of kiai and it doesnt really fit to the start and there is nothing what relates to it either. Its also unexpected to have a double at the start of a kiai. Delete the circle to make it better.

Guest Insane

00:13:643 (1,2,3,4) - After these spacings 00:14:947 (4,5) - this jump doesnt fit. I guess its a small copy paste mistake which was unwanted. Well, now you can improve it by moving the slider to how it should be.
00:22:121 (2) - Touches the HP bar, move it lower.
01:22:447 (5,6) - I think it would work better if you move the circle like this. http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1071831 It would make the playment and flow better due to it going straight and not to the right.
02:55:382 (1,2,3) - If you make bigger spacing when having this stair reducing spacing 02:54:078 (2,3,4,5,1) - it can be confusing and might be clicked somehow different. Maybe you could stack it and improve it that way or just make normal spacing, or find something else how you like it.

Liked your difficultie a lot. The rythm was good made especially the changing which worked very good, 03:14:295 (3,4,5) - .

Insane

- http://puu.sh/558dh.jpg Here are a lot of spacing mistakes. Don't know if you did them on purpose but this is a lot compared to other maps. I see a lot which also should be improve towards the normal spacing. This also fits your other difficulties better and it doesnt make the difficultie unneeded harder than it is already. No offense, but there are some jumps which you really need to fix up.

00:12:991 (6,7) - , compared to your normal spacing ( 00:11:034 (1,2) - ) this is very confusing and not recommended. You need to be aware of that this can cause a missunderstanding in playment. The players thinks; this is played that way. But then it actually is different than expected. Make it clear how to play and move the slider further away so the confusion is gone.
00:13:643 (7,1,2) - This jump from 1 to 2 is also very unexplainable. It's kind of senseless. I see the point of making a difficultie harder and more entertaining with adding jumps but they also need to make sense. You should at least make it consistant so it plays better. http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1071845
00:21:143 (3,1) - You should stack them or else this is not very fitting due to you changing the spacing again. When you think about it; 00:22:121 (1,2) - this spacing is bigger than 00:21:143 (3,1) - . But the rythm is different. Its the opposite how it should be.
00:25:382 (9,10,11,1) - After this 00:25:382 (9,10,11) - spacing you cant make the shape complete with adding another circle in the pattern with the same spacing, when there is a whole 1/1 section between. You need to think about this. Maybe you stack it with the previous circle to fix that.
00:58:480 (2,3,4) - Its the same again, but now you have almost the same consistant spacing which is wrong. The jump from 2 to 3 is ok but then the 4 placed the same way the jump was might be considered as jump as well. Stack it or make the spacing of 4 bigger.
01:04:186 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - The spacing here is also wrong. Its the same again, you need to think of the rythm and placement and how it works. This can really confuse.
01:08:915 (2,3,4,5) - If you had this jump from 2 to 3 you cant have the spacing with 01:09:567 (4) - the same way. That's not good.

These mistakes are pretty much ongoing in the difficultie. Please make yourself aware of how you place elements. I am not offending and i only say this to improve the map of yours. You posted into my queue and i gave you some advice. Hope it helps you and makes you more aware for the next time you map.

@BB :: Since I've made several changes in relation with all pointed issues and also somewhere more, which made they more clear (even though that things before changing were relied on partial symmetry, I changed some to fit a bit more to the beats), it made me unable to answer point-to-point as usually I do. In fact, did the changes on my own and, also, added some beats.
Consider also that there are a lot of ranked Insanes/Extras that lacks logic too, what make me unable to pass them even with HT mods enabled, since the beats seems appear to me randomly while the session, with no path to follow.
And I felt I didn't followed a Lesjuh approach here, but relied onto some contemporary (2013) approaches, instead. Specially at Kiai sections.
This song is surely amazing, even though it doesn't made me psychedelize

By the way, I'm so happy to see this map revived :)!!!

EDIT / REUPLOAD : I took the occasion to replace some of the original hitsounds that sounded better than the custom hitsounds since SOMEONE applied custom hitsounds all over my map without my conscent hmm ... ? ;) I still kept some of the custom ones because they fitted better.

About the NC changes, I can't apply them, because it's a Collab difficulty (made by jonathanlfj and me) -- and some NC changes at my parts require that lfj apply the NC changes appointed to his parts on the difficulty, otherwise the numberings would grow considerably (up to 20 or 30).
Since changing anything on lfj's parts is under his discretion, and for avoiding NC changes on my parts clash against their ones, I'll wait him to apply the changes (or not) first, then I'll apply some changes where appropriate.


About the SV change, you are right. I tried reducing to 1.3x between 03:19:513 ~ 03:27:665 since reducing it more would feel so unfitting to this final climax of the song. However, the last part from 03:29:947 to the end belongs to lfj (the collab partner), so it's under his discretion to apply the change or not.
