Hello and welcome to the seccond edition of OSBST.

Hello! I'm one of the host for SliderBreak Tournaments and we are proud to announce the second edition of our summer tournament, which will be a lot bigger than the last one, with a big cumulated cash prize of 490$ that we will spread on the 8 first players (which means getting to semi finals either in Winner or Loser bracket), and hopefully a badge awarded to the winner.

This tournament is for peoples between the rank 10k and 1. We are using a BWS ranking system for players above the range
who would like to compete in the tournament anyway.

To participate in tournaments and obtain the necessary information
you must join the Discord server The link is in the information section.

If you have any questions that you can't find answered here, don't hesitate to ask the Discord staff.

● General informations:

⦁ The maximum amount of registration is 200 (it should be high enough).
⦁ When you register you need to join the discord server to be accepted.
⦁ You cannot leave the discord server or else you'll get eliminated (after a warning from us).
⦁ The screening will be done by the osu staff (to be confirmed with the badge).
⦁ The winner will get a badge on their profile.

⦁ We will be using score v2
⦁ The qualifiers work as follow: for each map you get an amount of point equal to your ranking on it,
A lower sum of points equals a better ranking.
⦁ The Playoff will be in the format of a double elimination bracket with bracket reset.
⦁ The amount of points to win a match will be like this: RO64 is BO5, RO32 is BO7, RO16 is BO9, Quarterfinals and Semifinals are BO11 and the Finals/Grandfinals are BO13.

● Mappools structure:

Here is the structure of the mappool for each round:

⦁ Qualifiers: 4NM, 2HD, 2HR, 2DT.
⦁ Round of 64: 5NM, 2HD, 2HR, 3DT, 2FM, 1TB. | 1 Ban per player.
⦁ Round of 32: 5NM, 2HD, 2HR, 3DT, 2FM, 1TB. | 1 Ban per player.
⦁ Round of 16: 5NM, 3HD, 3HR, 4DT, 2FM, 1TB. | 2 Ban per player.
⦁ QuarterFinals: 6NM, 3HD, 3HR, 4DT, 2FM, 1TB. | 2 Ban per player.
⦁ SemiFinals: 6NM, 3HD, 3HR, 4DT, 3FM, 1TB. | 2 Ban per player.
⦁ Finals and GrandFinals: 6NM, 3HD, 3HR, 4DT, 3FM, 1TB. | 2 Ban per player.

● Schedules:

⦁ Registration closing: 9 of July at 12am (utc).
⦁ Qualifiers: 17 and 18 of July.
⦁ Round of 64: 24 and 25 of July.
⦁ Round of 32: 31 of July to 1 of August.
⦁ Round of 16: 7 and 8 of August.
⦁ Quarterfinals: 14 and 15 of August (all matches should be streamed from this rounds onward).
⦁ Semifinals: 21 and 22 of August.
⦁ Finals: 28 of August.
⦁ Grand Finals: 29 of August.

Players Rules :

⦁ You must be on the discord server.
⦁ You can be 10 minutes late maximum.
⦁ Any use of cheats will be punished by disqualification.
⦁ the BWS formula is this: rank^(0.99^(badges*(badges+1)/2))
⦁ Previous 1st place in one of our tournaments is counted in the BWS.

Matches Rules :

⦁ NF will be applied on every map.
⦁ The roll winner is the player with the biggest number. He will ban first and the loser of the roll ban.
The winner of the roll then chose who pick first.
⦁ No rematch if the first 20 seconds of the song were played and you quit the room (even if you crashed).
⦁ If there is a forfeit on both sides the player with the higher seeding win.
⦁ FM are freemods. HR/HD/FL/EZ only are allowed + NM is allowed but count *0.85. EZ count *1.6.
⦁ TB is in freemods, but the multiplier for NM is *1.
