Well i am making a skin that you can customize it by changing the files by copypasting new ones (inside the folder there are folders where you can change the gear of osu!mania, coolbombs (the explosion thing), and notes) But i am not sure if that is allowed and i would like to ask here if somehing like that is allowed or i would have to make a different skin, i wanted to put them all in one because the only thing that actually changes is the gear and the notes and not actually the interface itself.

Thanks in advance

Why wouldn't it be allowed?

If filesize is a problem, you can put the alternatives in separate downloads as "Add-ons".

It's not allowed to upload mix skins where you take parts from other skins.

Oh, you mean you're making several versions of each skin element for others to choose from? I think that's been done before, although I think you would need to put the extra elements as a separate download as "add-ons" as Full Tablet suggested.

no offense, but don't most people bastardise skins? Mixing and matching favourite skin elements from other people's skins.

yes they do but most people keep it to them selves instead of uploading them in the forums.

Actually what i am doing is compiling all the Skins avaiable in DJMAX (Specially RAY) And making like an international DJMAX Skin, so you cant say i didn't "create it" but i am doing the effort of making it, you know is not copy-paste since DJMAX RAY is in diagonal, like this:

I am trying to do it the best i can :)

what. How did people think that this thread is about mixing skins?
BTW, this is done by a lot of skinners. Do as Full Tablet says.

Hula and Heibel are going far from the OP's point

OP said that all of the elements are made by himself... now, he is asking if he can add his skin alternatives (still made by himself) inside the main skin folder...

yeah yeah yeah yeah but we're talking about "add-ons" here...

it's allowed dude, just like what Full Tablet said:

(if you want to add some skin alternatives inside the skin folder, you must group it first and put it in separate folders. If the main skin's filesize bloats, just do what Full Tablet said: you can put the alternatives in separate downloads as "Add-ons")
