Maps aren't supposed to be lightning quick, so we wait. I'm fine with waiting. Collabs require cooperation between everyone as well so we all think together about the collab, which is cool.

Don''t understand the question completly, but the reason why why I want to wait is to wait for more people to join in on both styles, before starting mapping, trying to avoid confussing on who does what part. Some sort of deadline to sign in. We have only 3 people (me included) for the normal mode, and already 5 on the Taiko. For the Taiko that's great news, but we're still a bit low on the Osu! side. I'd like to see the map pretty challenging, like a Dementori or Liverne - Necrofantasia kind of difficulty. But those are more standard Osu maps, so I don't know if you guys know a good difficulty. I was thinking of a map that isn't made for the newbs or intermediate. But, on the other hand, the song is quiet long. I'd like to hear your opinions on this.
The Osu style has to have a mix of jumps and some parts can have streams, depending on the music ofcourse. I think the Taiko can do the same thing?

Well I guess a "Marathon" map should be difficult to complete. There will be fairly easy parts, but most of it should fit the fast, hyper pace of the song.
When I mean faster things, I'm talking about stuff like Justice Breaker, Magenta, I like Trains, etc (all taiko).

It's probably going to be difficult to work in the taiko collab. You can't really see what's going on in the background unless it's really flashy(which is very annoying) or if taiko-slider is disabled (which rarely ever happens). It might have to come in from left to right centered along the bottom closest to the taiko playfield... meh, there's a few complications. In the meantime, I'll see if I can work something out. As for Fraolinch's part... Hmm.. I think it's fine if it's already mapped, it'll prevent players from skipping the outro and avoiding the credit roll altogether.

For the credits, can't it be on the top/mid or wherever and the bottom so the taiko and osu players can see without having to have seperate storyboards?
My idea of the credits would be displaying names of the osu mappers, fade out, then taiko mappers(or at the same time), fade out.
If I am obligated to do two parts (to go with the 8 mappers concept), I can do C as well for the standard mode, that is if we are.

Great, I'll add you on C. As for the slider, I think 1.60 will do. Mappers can always change this to their own style with the timings, but announce this when mapping begins. Maybe Kuro can give a tip on how to do this the moest effective way. Or maybe it's not handy at all, who knows...chamelepeace710 wrote:

Anyway, it's almost Monday, and since no-one signed up for this collab besides the current mappers, we have currently 9 people, me included. Mapping your parts with proceed as planned. IOf you finished your part, please post this in this thread.
I'm gonna take B, C & D of the Taiko Collab. If Fraolinch takes another part, Fraolinch, Kuro, Mithost and Babukus can maybe choose a third part, and the whole Taiko collab will be covered. As said before, finished parts should be adressed to Kuro.
For the standard mode, I'll take H, I & J. If other "standard" mappers want to take remaining parts, that would be great.
For me, I still work normally, so I'll try to do my parts as quick as possible. This would be my first Taiko map, so I want to ask Kuro to take a look at my parts when I'm done. Despite this is my pfirst Taiko map, I still play a lot of Taiko, so it's not that I don't know how Taiko beats work. I'll just try to do my best.
