Hello Guis,

Like the title already says, I'm working now on a beatmap of a recent Nico Nico Douga Parody on 7 Colors of Nico Nico Douga, names 8 Sides of Nico Nico Douga.

We're still searching for people who want to join. If you want to participate in this Collab, don't hold back and say it.

I already got the timings right to my opinion, and will upload it tonight to work in progress. I made some beatmap before, I think they all 3 died, so I already have a little exp. with mapping.

But since this is a long song, 11 minutes excl ending credits, It's a lot of work. I don't mind doing it alone, but maybe if someone likes the song, and wants to do a collab with me, it would be a pleasure to work together.

Well, I was thinking on making a normal mode and a taiko mode, since I started playing Taiko a lot, and this song is great for a taiko beat. It would be my first taiko tho, so I don't know how this will work out.

This song (octagon version) is also a collab of 20 people. It would be awesome to get just as much people, or a lot in the first place. I'm not really a big fan of several styles in a Osu song, but it would be fitting for this song.

Yeah, well, Doomsday's version of the original was a collab, that went pretty great really, but yeah, keeping it to a standard as in not going from jumps and symmetric sliders to streamfests and such is important.

It would be awesome to see a collaborative map for this song. I was actually thinking of doing it myself but I've never even mapped any song yet. I'd like to at least map 2 or 3 songs before I put my name on the list.

I'm definitely interested in mapping for this song for taiko (don't know how to map osu).

Huh... I've always wanted to do a collab part in a "Nanairo no Nico Nico Douga" project...

If this gets more serious, I will do the Hammer/RED ZONE part.

If not, perhaps around the Windows parts.

Anyway, for the beatmap itself, I was thinking of a little storyboard, with the names of the beatmappers for the parts they mapped, and a credit roll, which is already in the video at the end, so that fits great. Maybe, also a title for each part with the title of the song.

That's a good idea for a storyboard for collabs.


Can't wait till we get to mapping this. For the Taiko collab, I'd be fine with mapping all parts, of course divided with others who're mapping it. I like this song~

If we get more people that would be cool, but we don't necessarily have to, it'd just be faster probably.

Well, if Kuro is still interrested, we only have 3 people for the Taiko collab, but still only me for the Osu collab. Tomorrow I'll be leaving for a midweek vacation, so maybe more people will sign in for this while I'm gone...

Anyway, I'll take the storyboard on myself, just choosing a part to map. I was thinking of doing everyone 2 parts at max, and wait till more people sign up for this, like I said before. If no extra people signed up in a week, we can divide the unoccupied pieces.

I now looking which 2 parts seem interresting to me.

Also, about the timings, most are good, but I added one.

Nope, those will change just before the actual mapping will start. I'm trying to gather more people to be sure we can get this off the ground before doing stuff related to mapping besides timings 'n stuff.

What do you mean with the chart? Who is going to do which part?

Anyway, it's here 1:44am already, i'm going to get some sleep and catch the plane tomorrow. Ill check back in when I arrive at the appartment.

Hi, If possible, would I be able to join in? I've done some taiko mapping before (unsubmitted stuff) but I wanted to get started with a collab.

As for parts, I would love if I could steal 10:23:010 - 11:11:023 (second last) and 06:52:127 - 07:55:325. Besides from the ending, they are my favourite parts to the song.

...any reason for octagon version? :D

Just because the song is awesome, and imo better than the Vocaloid version. Also, it is maybe a fun idea to make hitcircles for both taiko as standard in a octagon form.

Also, I took a look how to make a background vid, but I failed. Has someone more expierence with this?
