-- Not all users use the default "Normal" hit sound, so making another hitsound named "normal-hitnormal.wav", which sounds the same as "soft-slidertick.wav".

Hello. Saw this in #modreqs. It had a picture of the sea and stuff so I had to mod it.

I don't really see anything wrong with Easy and Normal, since they're usually the simple and boring ones.

Hard

I have a few suggestions to make the map slightly more interesting / lively.

• 00:27:017 (6) - Break down this reverse slider into 5 notes, or maybe like 2 short sliders and a note. More fun to play.
• 00:37:588 (5,6) - I think this part sounds much better this way:

• 00:46:445 - Add a note here. Even if it's just a really short pause, I feel like having this there feels better.
• Now at the start of the chorus (or kiai rather), you should make the map follow the.. flute thing? I'm bad with instruments, it's probably not a flute. Anyway, turn it into something like this part 01:16:731 (2,3,4,5). Here's a quick example I just did (where the kiai starts):

• 01:04:445 (1) - Break this slider into notes / smaller sliders as well.

Honestly the only thing I have to suggest is to set tick rate to 2, but I can understand if you don't want to considering the tick sounds.
Also the artist should be set to Nakagawa Ken, right? I always get confused over this rule, but I don't believe he has a preferred order listed.

Did you apply anything from Zejky's mods? If so, just poke me and we'll get this set going.

I want to keep the artist Ken Nakagawa to keep it consistent with the other ranked maps (some of which are my own lol). That, and I only really see his named romanised this way, not sure but I think most composers do it this way. Tick 2 doesn't really fit with the tick sounds and the rhythm I choose but I see where you're coming from.

IIRC I changed some hitsounds and a placement or two from Zejky's mod, I should have done a full reply but I was lazy.

I tried doing some searching around for references from the Western side of things as to his name. I only ever see it as "Ken Nakagawa" on fan sites (didn't find anything official to show which was it is preferred), but in Japanese listings it's always surname, firstname. If you can show me some official links where it's Ken first, I'm fine with it.

Either way I think consistency with other maps is important, as long as the Japanese characters are listed under artist I don't see the issue :P
