Problem details:
I used to run osu on 1-2k fps and was getting below 1ms but now I'm running osu on only 240~fps and 4ms
Is there a fix for this? It doesn't feel as smooth anymore
I've also tried all the versions of osu and it's the same

Edit: my specs are ryzen 7 2700x, rtx 2070 and 16gb ram 3200mhz

osu! version: Cutting Edge 20210312

if I'm not mistaken, unlimited runs according to your monitor's refresh rate.

maybe try changing it to optimal ?

Unlimited is just unlimited. Doesn't matter what the refresh rate is.
Actually optimal/powersaving is what scales with refreshrate.

Have you tried doing the other two things that were mentioned in Dntm8kmeeatu's post other than changing your power plan settings?

Can you get a picture or video of the game with the frame time graph enabled? Hit Ctrl+F11 to display it.

I don't know if it's gonna work, try checking thru 3D settings on Nvidia Control Panel such settings like Power Plan or Vsync

Other then power plan settings could you try opening the windows graphics settings? Then put osu! on high performance?

Song select does not go more than 240fps even unlimited, check inside a map.
