It also needs a delete confirmation. I just accidentally deleted my FavB list with 750+ maps in it and I'm really really REALLY pissed.
Not only editting remove's a beatmap from the collection, updating a beatmap will remove it either...Mira-san wrote:
Editing a map in a collection removes it from the collection and makes osu! crashes.

If you edit a map that's in a collection and save changes, it disappears from all collections it's in and if you try to add it to a collection afterwards osu! crashes.
I made a collection for my WIP maps so it's easier to browse through them, but with this problem it's kinda defeating the purpose.
Not sure how this would be fix-able since you change the beatmap and it makes sense for it to get removed from a collection..
XPJ38 edit: here's a screenshot of what happens after clicking on 1. just after editing the map:
After that, osu! is running but totally locked. Only way to get out of here is to close osu! by closing the window.
You sir have saved me from a suicide. Thank youSup A Noob wrote:
If you ever experience favourites deletion ingame, copy the osu! config file named after your computer into somewhere else while the game is still on. Then turn off the game and put that file back. It's only possible because config files don't get updated until osu! closes properly, which is why crashes always result up in "outdated" favourites.
A helpful tip for those facing such problems.
If you want to save all your other collections, you need to do this with collection.db file insteadSup A Noob wrote:

If this still happens, and you want to get rid of favouritesA/B once and for all, you can edit osu!.YourWindowsUsername.cfg file with notepad and delete all song codes after FavouritesA = and FavouritesB = . The file's start should look like this:XPJ38 wrote:
Just noticed that if you happen to delete FavouritesA and B, they come back after restarting the game.
Thanks for the help, works fine.Sup A Noob wrote:

Confirming. Will merge this topic into this one.Pagno wrote:
When navigating using left and right arrow, sometimes it happens to jump through different collections.
This happens when you put the same song in 2 different collections, and you get through them using arrow keys. It only happens when you navigate a collection which is located under the ones that contain the same song.
In other words, in the video, if I navigated in Test 1 using arrow keys nothing would have happened, because it's above the collection Test 2.

After editing the map goes away from collection and game don't react to any user's input events (but music still playing and animations are working).
i think this one is fixed. can someone confirm?Mira-san wrote:

I just noticed that. Was about to report ittheowest wrote:
adding this one:
The first time you randomize in any folder/grouping/collection the first map in that list will always be selected. Kind of wish randomizing were 100% random.

hi.
this has happened several times already.
i just play and then decide to add something to the collection. that's all.
"After that, osu! is running but totally locked."
and the only way to close osu is to kill the process through task dispatcher.
Damn I must be blind, sorry >.<deadbeat wrote:

I am not sure that this is related to the FavA/B impossible deletion bug... Needs clarification.TheVileOne wrote:
