Hi o/

Just passing by to mod the Taiko here :p

[Oni]

Highly suggested to change
00:15:442 (29) - You can delete this one, I think it breaks a bit the emphasis the previous big note does.
00:20:442 (43) - ^
00:30:442 (74) - ^
00:35:442 (90) - ^
Also the big notes you have spaced in 1/4 beat like 00:40:286 (104,105,106) aren't unrankable, but imo they're a bit uncomfy to play, they can still work as normal notes.

Some other suggestions that may be my own taste
00:09:505 (11,12) - I'd remove (11) and move (12) to that beat, so the whole pattern would look similar to 00:19:348 (39,40,41,42,43,44), and helps to make certain consistency.
00:14:192 (24) - You can remove this, allowing you to make similar rhythms and make the diff look more structured (white blue-white red white)
00:18:098 (36) - I'd suggest to remove this, I think this should be a calmer.
00:21:692 (46) - Could be removed, you can see the reasons above :p
00:24:192 (54,55) - Maybe remove them, to add a bit of emphasis to the next note, as it begins a new phrase.
00:31:692 (78) - You can remove it.
00:38:880 (100) - Remove the finisher and add a don note in 00:39:036, to fit a with the vocals, if you do, also put a don in 00:39:973 to keep following them
00:54:973 (163) - Maybe remove this, emphasis, blabla.
00:58:567 (176,178) - Maybe remove them too, emphasis and structure, yadda yadda
01:01:067 (185,187) - ^
01:03:567 (195,196) - I'd remove them too, the finisher would feel more strong, like you did in 01:13:255 (232,233).
01:04:192 (198) - Maybe remove this, to somehow keep the structure of previous patterns.
01:05:442 (203) - I suggest to remove this, to give a tiny breather to the players.
01:07:942 (213) - ^
01:21:067 (258,259,261) - You can remove this to follow better the drums, having the 1/4 patterns increasing would be nice to finish the song.
01:24:192 (1) - Remove the hitsounds in the spinner, as they doesn't show up in Taiko.

Although I'd prefer a less dense Oni (like my suggestions points to) to fit a bit better with the song pace and allows people who is moving from Muzu -> Oni, have training grounds to move to higher tiers, the difficulty is good as it is :p

[Muzukashii]

00:17:942 (28) - I'd use a don here, matches better with drums imo.
00:25:442 (45) - ^
00:30:442 (56) - ^
00:34:817 (65) - ^
00:37:942 (71) - ^
00:39:817 (76,77,78) - This ddk pattern feels a bit odd as it's the only one in the difficulty, also it stands out a lot because this patterns are more likely to be in a high-tier Muzukashii. I'd suggest to use a rhythm like this.

Not much to say here, I liked how it is builded, except for the few spots I mentioned.

That'd be all from me here, I hope it helps. Good luck o/

Highly suggested to change
00:15:442 (29) - You can delete this one, I think it breaks a bit the emphasis the previous big note does. Done
00:20:442 (43) - ^ I like this one to be honest. removed the finish on the earlier note though. probably the vocals
00:30:442 (74) - ^ removed
00:35:442 (90) - ^ removed
Also the big notes you have spaced in 1/4 beat like 00:40:286 (104,105,106) aren't unrankable, but imo they're a bit uncomfy to play, they can still work as normal notes. Possibly. I'll look more into this as I finish the mod.

Some other suggestions that may be my own taste
00:09:505 (11,12) - I'd remove (11) and move (12) to that beat, so the whole pattern would look similar to 00:19:348 (39,40,41,42,43,44), and helps to make certain consistency. I made a copy from 00:05:755 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - hopefully that works
00:14:192 (24) - You can remove this, allowing you to make similar rhythms and make the diff look more structured (white blue-white red white)
00:18:098 (36) - I'd suggest to remove this, I think this should be a calmer.this is starting to slowly revert my difficulty back to the way it was before, which I liked better. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so :)
00:21:692 (46) - Could be removed, you can see the reasons above :p yeah
00:24:192 (54,55) - Maybe remove them, to add a bit of emphasis to the next note, as it begins a new phrase. yes
00:31:692 (78) - You can remove it. I just went with a basic structure from here on, replacing all the extra notes that weren't needed. heh I'm not sure if I changed some of your suggestions, but I slowly reverted my diff back to how it used to be.
00:38:880 (100) - Remove the finisher and add a don note in 00:39:036, to fit a with the vocals, if you do, also put a don in 00:39:973 to keep following them agreed, I did kkddk for this though :)
00:54:973 (163) - Maybe remove this, emphasis, blabla. I removed it, but then added it back, it ruins the patterns I have set before when I do this.. Sooooo yeah. I like this enough to want to keep it
00:58:567 (176,178) - Maybe remove them too, emphasis and structure, yadda yadda back to normal it goes >_>
For the rest I didn't respond to.. I deleted pretty much everything else that made this diff stupid and went back to how it used to be. I probably used all of these changes, or if not, altered them slightly to make them fit better. thanks
01:24:192 (1) - Remove the hitsounds in the spinner, as they doesn't show up in Taiko. sure

Although I'd prefer a less dense Oni (like my suggestions points to) to fit a bit better with the song pace and allows people who is moving from Muzu -> Oni, have training grounds to move to higher tiers, the difficulty is good as it is :p I like this. I really do. I was trying something else and it ended up in my eyes, being complete garbage, in other people's eyes, it also ended up being not good at all. Haha, I'll be sure to map what I want to from now on and not try for any stupid fancy stuff that doesn't even really work. Thanks :)

[Muzukashii]

00:17:942 (28) - I'd use a don here, matches better with drums imo. I found myself swapping between k and d quite often here, I decided to stick with k so it adds a bit more uniqueness to the map.
00:25:442 (45) - ^ This one personally plays better to me as a k, and I like how it is currently. I know what you mean when following the drums though. I also want a different color from the D coming up as well.... Not that it matters much because it's easy to hit.
00:30:442 (56) - ^ like above. I also like to have the extra k's before approaching the new measure, because there is no audible drums here. this is just added for the sake of having more notes..... which I don't like to do (which is why i can't map Taiko)
00:34:817 (65) - ^ yeah, changed this. doesn't fit at the start of a new measure.
00:37:942 (71) - ^ same as the rest. empty note, k works good here.
00:39:817 (76,77,78) - This ddk pattern feels a bit odd as it's the only one in the difficulty, also it stands out a lot because this patterns are more likely to be in a high-tier Muzukashii. I'd suggest to use a rhythm like this. I didn't even really notice that it was the only ddk pattern I used in this difficulty lol. I like your idea, I'm going to try using a kd combo for 77/78 though as I really believe the drum hit is just too big to use a d for. also changed 79 on that pic to a K to match the rest of the finishes. Thanks

Not much to say here, I liked how it is builded, except for the few spots I mentioned.

That'd be all from me here, I hope it helps. Good luck o/

I'm really glad for this mod, like really glad. You went and showed me that overmapping is garbage which I personally believe as well, and helped me revert, and improve on my difficulty. Next time, I'll just stick to what I like.

Map is back to normal + improved! \o/

[Hard]
00:12:005 (3) - the blanket can be better:
00:57:630 (3) - ^

[Normal]
00:13:255 (3) - a slider like 00:10:755 (1)'s shape would be better, since the 2 previous sliders are curved sliders.
00:45:598 (1) - the bending of this part will be unsmooth
and this will be better:

[Easy]
00:14:505 (5) - a straight slider would be better since this part is symmetric.
00:34:505 (5) - ^ but this time is to fit the slider style of 00:31:380 (2,4)

You can call me back after taiko diffs checked by a BAT.

Thanks for the mod. I didn't use any of the suggestions mostly because this song follows only the drum line and not the vocals (with one or two exceptions)

Thanks though :)

Okay!

Overall the Taikos are nice, they have a good structure and also fit the music well.
Here is some suggestions.

Oni

  1. 00:40:286 (88) - Right now kddK is quite confusing, I suggest you can try k dK ( that means delete 00:40:286 (88) - ) to make it more easy to read.
  2. 00:40:598 (90) - Personally, I think that speed up is NOT necessary. It made the dK (just mentioned) hard to read. So yeah, I will say you should better not to use speed up here, 1.0 is enough.
  3. 01:21:848 (228) - How about kdkd here? sounds better.
  4. 01:22:786 (233) - I think you can try to delete this note, for that part, kdkd d kkd fits well imo. Surely, that's not a must.
Muzukashii

  1. The difficulty of Muzukashii is quite similar to the Oni, but I think that is acceptable for Muzukashii Lv.5* to Oni Lv.4* (just my own opinion).
This diff is really good, but I suggest you can have a better diff spread next time (for Muzu' - Oni).
Call me back.

  3. 01:21:848 (228) - How about kdkd here? sounds better. Why not? It actually sounds much nicer this way.
  4. 01:22:786 (233) - I think you can try to delete this note, for that part, kdkd d kkd fits well imo. Surely, that's not a must. I agree, it sounds so much better like this. thanks.

I see what you mean about there being not much difference between the diffs. I'll definitely try my best to make the diffs more balanced next time.
Call me back.
Thanks for the mod!

Is Outer Oni an acceptable name for an Easy Oni diff? I wasn't sure what it would be called.. since inner oni is supposed to be harder :P

Alright, let's go :3

[Easy]

00:27:630 (3) - That rhythm seems odd to me, reason for that is that it ends on a big white tick. I suggest follwing to fix it: http://puu.sh/5qYfi.jpg
00:53:880 (2,3,4) - This flows rather weird, due to it's natural straight flow. Doesn't really fit here imo! What do you think of making it curvier?
01:08:880 (2,3,4,5,6) - Too hard for an easy. I would suggest to soften this rhythm a bit, with deleting 1-2 circles, or adding a slider.
01:14:817 (2) - While a straight flow would work here, you could make this slightly more proper: http://puu.sh/5qYkD.jpg
01:17:317 (5) - Same goes here.
01:20:755 (4) - I would add a NC here, to avoid having a too big one. Also: missed finish? emphasizes the point pretty well.

[Normal]

00:20:755 (1) - would add a finish here as well
00:13:255 (3,4) - Can you explain me what you thought while placing this? I mean, that's not ironic. I'm wondering - because it doesn't really flow well, Slider 3 goes -> and slider 4 is on the opposite way, why not following the flow here?
00:48:098 (5) - NC?
00:53:567 (4,5) - That rhythm doesn't work well for me, since there's just this gap, and also, you've followed the vocals mostly, which isn't wrong, but it gets weird as soon as you suddenly change your style. so.. try to rearrange the notes here?
01:02:005 (6,7,1) - Either curvy or straight.. but something in between looks rather weird here.
01:22:005 (1,2,3,4,5) - Please use the convert slider to stream tool to get a nice looking curve :P

Not sure about some combos, they seem really long. You might wanna re-check the situation

[Hard]

00:06:380 (1,2,3,4) - Keep your DS. At this time, there's no reason to make a weird alignment like that, is there? :P
00:10:130 (8) - blanket
00:18:880 (5,6,7) - Try to get a better triangle / blanket shape here, to avoid having an untidy look
00:25:755 (1) - I personally would put this to 20 320 (somewhere like that at least) because it would follow the natural flow even better. But well, that's up to you
00:50:130 (9,10,11,1) - As well here, it would be really great if you could make a better transition from triplet to slider :D
00:55:130 (8) - a NC here would difference (?) this stream pretty good. Also, the combo is really high again.

Rest seems okayish. Combos are really long again, so I assume you followed something. Mostly nazi stuff, but that's how I go :P

00:27:630 (3) - That rhythm seems odd to me, reason for that is that it ends on a big white tick. I suggest follwing to fix it: http://puu.sh/5qYfi.jpg Fixed, I definitely agree with this . Changed it up quite a bit, as well as the positioning of the new few notes. Should be much better.
00:53:880 (2,3,4) - This flows rather weird, due to it's natural straight flow. Doesn't really fit here imo! What do you think of making it curvier? Hmm, I think I got it figured out.
01:08:880 (2,3,4,5,6) - Too hard for an easy. I would suggest to soften this rhythm a bit, with deleting 1-2 circles, or adding a slider. Deleted a circle, and changed a lot of the mapping around. Shouldn't be just all 1/1 spam now.
01:14:817 (2) - While a straight flow would work here, you could make this slightly more proper: http://puu.sh/5qYkD.jpg
01:17:317 (5) - Same goes here. Fixed these with the previous. So it works out
01:20:755 (4) - I would add a NC here, to avoid having a too big one. Also: missed finish? emphasizes the point pretty well. Added the NC, but didn't add the finish. There is a much stronger sound 1/1 ahead of that which deserves a finish, and having a double finish here really doesn't sound that great.

[Normal]

00:20:755 (1) - would add a finish here as well A whistle was used here on purpose. Most of the Finishes actually occur 1/1 before on the clap note throughout the song.. as strange as it sounds.
00:13:255 (3,4) - Can you explain me what you thought while placing this? I mean, that's not ironic. I'm wondering - because it doesn't really flow well, Slider 3 goes -> and slider 4 is on the opposite way, why not following the flow here? Mostly because I was using odd shapes at 00:10:755 (1,2) - However, I changed most of these around. Should look better.
00:48:098 (5) - NC? It would work, but then it would lose its consistency with the rest of the other combos in this section. I think it's better as it is currently, so no change.
00:53:567 (4,5) - That rhythm doesn't work well for me, since there's just this gap, and also, you've followed the vocals mostly, which isn't wrong, but it gets weird as soon as you suddenly change your style. so.. try to rearrange the notes here? Actually, I was following the drums here (maybe a bit of the guitar? I can't remember 100%) but it definitely wasn't the vocals. The gap was left intentionally as the drummer actually drumed to the song this way. If you delete the notes and listen. It should become understandable.
01:02:005 (6,7,1) - Either curvy or straight.. but something in between looks rather weird here. Its because of the slider velocity change that it might be a bit strange. I tried to fix it up a bit more to allow the adjustment to flow better. Let me know what you think. (I would like to keep the up in SV on normal)
01:22:005 (1,2,3,4,5) - Please use the convert slider to stream tool to get a nice looking curve :P Done.

Not sure about some combos, they seem really long. You might wanna re-check the situation They can either be long 4-8 combos (depending on section) or short 2-4 combos. The problem with low bpm is that it takes awhile until the next note appears. I usually prefer to NC every 2 combos on my songs because it will finish a verse in that time. Lots of times if you NC after 1, it will cut off halfway through vocals or drum sections, which I want to generally avoid. The only exception is: 00:55:755 - where I need to NC after 1 measure in order to reset it correctly.

Or something like that.. =/

[Hard]

00:06:380 (1,2,3,4) - Keep your DS. At this time, there's no reason to make a weird alignment like that, is there? :P oh.. I wonder what happened there.. I mean, fixed.
00:10:130 (8) - blanket I blanketed it to the yellow ring: http://puu.sh/5r1Mr.jpg
00:18:880 (5,6,7) - Try to get a better triangle / blanket shape here, to avoid having an untidy look Wasn't 100% sure here, but I adjusted a few things.
00:25:755 (1) - I personally would put this to 20 320 (somewhere like that at least) because it would follow the natural flow even better. But well, that's up to you Done, nice.
00:50:130 (9,10,11,1) - As well here, it would be really great if you could make a better transition from triplet to slider :D Its actually a 4 note stream, and I like the positing of it. I don't really want to change this around.
00:55:130 (8) - a NC here would difference (?) this stream pretty good. Also, the combo is really high again. Yeah, I'll NC the stream. Ruins the consistency but it'll be better.

Rest seems okayish. Combos are really long again, so I assume you followed something. Mostly nazi stuff, but that's how I go :P
