General convention discussion thread I guess~~

Too lazy to look for other threads, so I apologize if there is already a thread, but are there any upcoming cons anyone's attending??


I go to ConnectiCon every year in July because it's so close, I love it. I want to try and go to more cons.
Many friends have recommended Anime Boston which is in May, but I'm not sure if I want to go yet. Anyone been??

I heard Otakon is really great, so I may venture out on a 7 hour car trip just to go for the weekend.

Ozine Fest here in the Philippines, we have Miyuko (former SPCats) as a special guest around.

And I don't know if my cosplay org will hold any atm, and I'm too lazy to come over to help anyway ~_~

Phoenix Comicon is coming up in May, though it's more of western comics than of anime.

I go pretty much every year. It's a damn good larger con, but I'd look into the events/guests to see if it's what you wholly want to do. And never go alone, larger cons are more fun with more people.

Ottawa comiccon in May, Anime North and Anime Boston are on the same weekend, also in May D: (I guess I should have been more specific when I wished for it to move to a week where I'm not in the middle of finals orz), Chibi G-anime in July, Otakuthon and Fanexpo in August, and Naru2u in November.

I'm probably gonna go unless exams get me to have to study and prepare instead, and I would go with my sister if I do. I've gone every year for 3 or more years.

Dang I thought nobody on these forums went to Animazement.
