Dude all these new ranking stuff does not affect your gameplay at all,if you want to know how your friends did on a particular beatmap you can just ask them,simple.
Btw it looks like you're the only one complaining,i don't see any other non Osu! supporters raging on the forum about them not getting all these new features.
