Because this needs further taiko modding, I'm here to help :3

Things in Red must be fixed.
Things in Purple are highly suggested to be considered.
Others are normal suggestions.

[General]
  1. Use SV. 1.4 for both diffs.

  1. 00:02:840 - add k here, this feels so empty without a note here because I can hear a xylophone (or whatever instrument) sound a bit similar to 00:03:294 where you put a note.\
  2. 00:06:476 - same here^
  3. 00:08:976 - add a d here, to follow the vocals well.
  4. 00:11:249 - delete this, I prefer to follow the vocals on this part.
  5. 00:14:658 - I prefer a d here, it would nicely follow the "do" vocal.
  6. 00:18:522 - same with 00:11:249.
  7. 00:28:976 - delete this and add a d on 00:28:522. To follow the vocals well as usual. =v=
  8. 00:40:794 - add k here to follow the vocals.
  9. 00:46:931 - move the note from here to 00:46:703. Turn into d. Vocals... Vocals.. =v=
  10. 00:48:294 - this note here lands on nothing. It's not necessary, so delete.

Hi! I think I need to mod that. I'll focus especially in taiko difficulties, since they are the diffs. with more problems (well, this map was popped for that reason). I'll do it in spanish, since Thoomyy's english is not the best.

[xD's Muzukashii:]

• *General* - El problema principal que tuve con este mapa, es que es muy parecido (similar diria) a una dificultad de standard convertida. Jugue la Hard y en general son muy similares, muchos pattern no tienen la 'esencia' de un Taiko. Hasta 00:07:385 tus patrones tienen bastante sentido, o sea seguiste lo mejor para un Taiko, pero despues empezaste con una serie de notas en 1/2 que no juegan del todo bien en un Taiko, realmente esperaba mas variedad.
Las dificultades de Taiko, no estan basadas en las voces unicamente, sino que se basa en todos los sonidos, especialmente en los del instrumental. Patrones como 00:10:113 (29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37) - no tienen demasiado sentido y no son divertidos en un taiko, realmente, te lo digo por experiencia como modder, mapper y jugador. Quizas usarlo de vez en cuando esta bien, pero lo haces muy seguido, sigues mucho la voz y no le das importancia al resto de la musica.
En general el constante 1/2 me molesto un poco, no tengas miedo de usar 1/4 en lugares donde son realmente necesarios como por ejemplo en 00:43:181 - ese lugar realmente necesita una nota, sin nada se siente vacia esta parte.
La parte del kiai puede ser mas divertida, realmente. El constante uso de 1/2 aburre en cierto punto, vuelvo a repetir no tengas miedo de agregar notas sobre ticks azules, especialmente en el coro ya que es la parte mas importante de la cancion
Bueno, todavia le falta para que este mapa sea rankeado.
En conclusion, deberias seguir mas otras cosas en la musica no solo la voz (recuerda que no esta mal seguir la voz, pero no de forma constante como lo haces aqui).
La verdad, no puedo hacer un 'full mod' en este mapa, porque si lo hago seria muy largo y el map seria mio en lugar de ser de Thoomyy. Te sugiero mirar algun que otro Muzu ranked y tomar alguna idea de alli (y acordate de las sugerencias que te di en IRC en el map de Selena Gomez, creo que pueden ser de ayuda tambien)
Bueno, espero que puedas hacer un buen trabajo en esta dificultad, no dudes en preguntarme si tenes alguna duda.

[xD's Oni:]

• *General* - El problema es similar al Muzu, en general te basas mucho en la voz, y por eso el constante spam de notas en 1/2. Ya te digo, el constante 1/2 es aburrido en cierto punto en un Oni y no le da esa 'esencia' que deberia tener un taiko (como te mencione en el Muzu).
Definitivamente no se parece a un Oni :/, solo algun 3-plet y algun que otro 5-plet, pero en general esta basado en un simple ritmo de 1/2.
Mira este patron por ejemplo 00:47:385 - 00:53:749 - entre esos dos puntos existe mas de 30 notas (y unos 6segs aprox. de juego, tambien es bueno remarcarlo) y no existe ninguna variedad, solo notas en 1/2 al azar diria, lo cual hace el map raro y aburrido a la hora de jugarlo :/.
Aqui otro ejemplo como el anterior: 01:06:476 - 01:12:385 - ahi tambien existen alrededor de 30 notas (y 6seg tambien) sin ninguna variedad entre ellos, solo cambio de colores pero no es la manera. Este caso me parece que se refleja mas ya que es en el medio del coro, y como dije anteriormente es la parte mas importante del mapa, bueno como estos 2 hay mas patrones asi que deberian ser arreglados.
Algun descanso de 1/1 tambien es muy bueno para remarcar las dificultades de taiko, tambien te ayudan a evitar ese constante 1/2.
Intenta evitar inconsistencias tambien, compara el patron que va desde 00:45:340 hasta 00:46:931 - con el de 00:47:385 - 00:53:749 - pasaste de un 1/1 a un constante 1/2 lo cual esta mal tambien
Necesita mas estructura para que el mapa pueda ser rankeado, como dije en el Muzu necesita mas trabajo todavia y mas mods.
Bueno, te voy a decir algun que otra cosa en el map en general:

• 00:00:113 - 00:03:749 - Necesitas enfatizar los cymbals en estas notas, los kats no son suficientes. Te sugiero usar Big Dons en estas notas
• 00:07:613 - 00:09:431 - 00:10:794 - etc. - Por que solo ddk? Puedes jugar un poco mas con las notas. Otra cosa a remarcar, agrega notas sobre los ticks azules cuando sean necesarios en la musica, no cuando tu lo sientas convenientes. Recuerda que el 'overmap' no es algo bueno, ni siquiera en las dificultades de taiko.
• 00:17:840 (83,84,85,86) - Este patron es inconsistente con el resto y no sigue bien la musica. Intenta otra variante en su lugar
• 00:24:885 (118,119,120,121,122,123,124) - Realmente sientes necesarios todos los objetos sobre los ticks azules? Para serte sincero yo solo mantendria el (123) e intentaria alguna otra variante en el patron
• 00:53:976 (236,237,238,239,240,241,242) - Intentaria un pattern mas comun, para que sea consistente con el resto del mapa. Usa ddkkddk en su lugar, fluiria mejor a su vez

- Creo que el resto esta abarcado en ese 'mod general' que te di al comienzo. Como dije en el Muzu, te sugiero mirar/jugar mas ranked Onis, y tomar alguna idea de alli. Entenderas un poco mas acerca del mapeo en taiko.

Hasta aca, listo con los Taiko. Si tienes alguna duda o quieres que te ayude a arreglar los patrones, habla conmigo in-game. Como dije, ambas necesitan mas trabajo para poder estar rankeadas.

Te dare alguna sugerencia en las Standard tambien, ya que estoy aca :P

[Easy:]

• Settings:
--> El HP Drain Rate es demasiado bajo, incluso en una Easy. Yo lo aumentaria en uno o dos ticks por lo menos (HP +1-2)

• 00:12:840 (3) - *Un poco nazi* Pero mejoraria un poco la fluidez si mueves esta nota por encima de (1,3). Con esto, digo que muevas esta nota hacia x:256 y:184
• 00:38:294 (2) - Muchos whistles en este patron, no te parece? Yo eliminaria este Whistle, no es muy necesario en mi opinion.
• 01:12:839 (5) - Definitivamente un Reverse Selection (Ctrl+G) en este Slider fluye mucho mejor. Sigue mejor el patron (1,2,3,4) en 01:09:657 y a su vez el patron (1,2) en 01:14:203. En mi opinion, deberias cambiar esto
• 01:17:385 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Me hacen falta whistles en estos patrones :P. Yo agregaria un whistle al comienzo de 01:19:203 (3) y otro al comienzo de 01:23:748 (3).

[HaHoNormal:]

• Settings:
--> Increase the HP Drain Rate by 1 tick, works better in my opinion (HP+1)

• 00:02:840 (3,4) - Add a Note in 00:03:067 or make this a 1/2 slider for consistency with 00:06:476 (4). In addition, this pattern will follow the music really good.
• 00:14:203 (4) - To make your comboing consistent, remove the repetition from this Slider, and add a Note instead. After that add a New Combo in this new note and remove it from 00:15:113. In addition, it gives more sense to the vocals
• 00:56:476 (2,3,4) - It is the first 1/2 pattern stacked, this is inconsistent and could be hard for an average player to read that. I recommend you to unstack these objects.

[Hard:]

• 00:03:067 (3) - Entiendo que usas los Whistles sobre los ticks rojos, pero en este caso no sigue correctamente las 'camapanas'. Por eso, prefiero que elimines el whistle del comienzo del Slider y lo agregues al final
• 00:06:703 (4) - (^)
• 00:25:113 (1) - Este slider no sigue muy bien la musica, por lo menos me parecio eso. Ademas no es una muy buena idea tener el final de un slider sobre un downbeat, te sugiero que reduzcas la longitud de este Slider en 1/2 y luego agregues una nota en 00:25:567. En mi opinion, remarca mejor la cancion
• 00:35:113 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - No me gusto como quedo este aumento de spacing en las Notas. Es decir, entiendo lo que quisiste hacer y es coherente con la cancion, pero es algo 'timido'. Esperaba un aumento de spacing mayor, para que al menos tenga algun efecto mientras se juega el mapa, deberias re-considerar esto
• 00:56:248 (3) - Mueve esta nota a x:256 y:216, fluye mejor sin dudas
• 00:59:657 (3) - Para mejor fluidez, hace un Ctrl+J en este slider y movelo a x:296 y:52

- Algun que otro Whistle mas puede ser utilizado en la parte del Coro (del kiai time), muchas veces el ritmo suena monotono. Fijate si podes agregar alguno mas, siguiendo la voz o algo por el estilo.

[Dekaane's Insane:]

• 00:03:067 (4) - Me explicas el uso de la repeticion en este Slider? Porque la verdad no esta siguiendo nada en la musica, y es considerado 'overmap'. Deberias eliminar esta repeticion, ya que sigue mucho mejor la musica sin esta
• 00:36:476 (1,2,3,4) - Esto no es coherente, la distancia entre los objetos (1,2,3) y (3,4) es similar, pero (1,2,3) estan en 1/1 y (3,4) es en 1/4. Deberias remarcar esto con algo, porque se siente raro, principalmente las primeras veces que se juega el mapa, es mas creo que es mejor si usas un stack entre (1,2,3).

There is no much more things to mod in standard diffs. they look fine in general.
But Taiko diffs. need much more work before to be consider rankable.

There is no much more things to mod in standard diffs. they look fine in general.
But Taiko diffs. need much more work before to be consider rankable.

  7. 01:02:271 (272) - d, so the stream is ddkkd, you put dkkkd before, and it isn't fit well with the song.

00:24:885 (71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82) - This part doesn't fit the song really, imo, try to get a nice pattern and put at least one mini break in it, since it totally destroys the rhythm behind it imo.

I can't find anything else .. i have some dk issues, but i dunno if i should suggest them, i'm not a real taiko player ><

  4. Fixed some points to increase the flow (Normal-Hard)
  5. Reduced Overall Difficulty by 1 tick (Easy-Hard)
  6. And a lot of nazi stuff (especially in Normal)
Basically this mapset were popped due to the quality in Taiko maps, but now they are not in this set.
So, I don't see any reason to don't give it a chance to this map

  1. Combo Colours: Darken this one a bit more, the approach circles blend with some parts of the video.

  1. 00:28:976 (4,5) - The jump is properly placed however the spacing between these 2 is almost the same as 00:29:203 (5,1) - making things confusing. Let me suggest an easy solution https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/894879 - Notice that I also moved the NC the next circle.
  2. 00:50:340 (4,5) - Fix this spacing please, it's misleading.
  3. 01:17:385 (5,1,2) - If possible, please try to move these circles a few grids down.
The first 2 spacing issues need to be fixed, please reply to this post specifying the changes made.
