I worked on it today, got it colored. I changed the outfit because I wasn't feeling the dress.

This one is about feeling like you are trapped and unable to escape. I decided to make the specific theme of this one broad because different people feel trapped in a variety of ways, whether it be mentally or physically. Her shirt is left being black and just has shading in it so it gives the look of her blending into the background. I thought it would work well to also seem like she is being consumed by what is trapping her and is pulling her into the darkness. I didn't want to add much of a background because if I was going to do it on white paper it was going to be solid black watercolour anyways.
This one is cut off a bit on the left and right side because the paper was curling a bit. It was still wet a little when I took the picture so I wasn't able to flatten it out yet. I can't think of what the specific meaning is, but the girl on the left is seeing what she once was in a past life, in which she was a cat demon (I know it's pretty lame but a lot of my characters that I use are some sort of demon or spirit but it's what works for me). I thought it would be best to leave the demon with a fully red body to show more that she isn't physical but her body exists in a spiritual aspect.
