Looks really great! Just a quick question, though (this is for every traditional artist out there). How do you guys do the lineart of your drawings? I've tried doing it with a pen but it didn't really work. Instead of showing the weight of the lines, it made the drawing look as if it's a really messy sketch.Jazz wrote:

When I was still little my father used to tell me to stop back tracing my lines or repeatedly drawing the line (the messy sketch works for some people but I guess that also takes practice) because it will ruin the drawing and it will look messy. Just be confident with your lines, and no one's stopping you from using rulers and french curves if you're having a bad time. As for me I start with very light lines then when I'm satisfied with the form I draw with heavier lines and then I trace with either gel pen or tech pen (use a thinner line weight like a .2 or .1 so in case you mess up it's not obvious and you can just trace over it)

That must have taken you a long time to do. I had to do a drawing using felt tips and pointillism as a homework in art class. Took quite a long time, but it was fun looking at the finished drawing.
Oh, I haven't seen anyone post pixel art things here. So I figured I'd as well post this little err, thing here seeing as pixel art started to interest me again.
