Changes made: SB removed from taiko, removed epilepsy warning, some pattern fixes on the taiko

For now I am leaving this popped icon due to the timing being wrong in the very silent section at 06:34:797 (I am getting other staff to check on this, however, so whether I can rank or rebubble depends on this) and the taiko needs more attention imo. For this, I have called some taiko people to help out so we can get this ranked soon.

Perceived difficulty rating: 10★ Oni (would give a 13 but the authentic limit is 10)
Sorry I am not very good at fixing patterns for difficulty levels like this, so have some style suggestions instead.
:idea: Very percussion based.
:idea: Could use more Go-go time. Like 03:59:047 ~ 04:15:047, and extending the 05:27:047 Go-go time to 05:59:047 or even 06:15:047
:idea: kkD and ddD's: The main problem is the scroll speed here still gives a feeling of 120BPM (anchoring effect from the previous 0.5x section?). But if BATs have no problem with this then it's fine by me too.
01:21:047 ~ 01:31:547 - To me there is a sudden decrease in density of bar lines with you using 7/4. I would suggest implementing alternating 4/4 and 3/4 stanzas (Making it like bar line --> 4 beats --> bar line --> 3 beats --> bar line --> 4 beats...).
Similar structures to deal with abnormal bar length has been seen in authentic maps such as Soul Calibur III New Legend and GERMINATION.

Beginning, how I felt while listening and playing (from 00:17:047 (1) - to 00:33:047 (1) - )

  1. This calm part was sure a bit overmapped at some parts, not something like ASDHFGASKFLASDFASF GET IT OFF, but some patterns felt a bit off the song (inb4 that's the point of the Oni diffs in Taiko no ZUNsujin)
  2. 00:18:047 (3) - That kat felt a bit out of place imo (you're mapping to an almost-nothing)
  3. 00:21:422 (14) - (and a lot of these 1/2 in that part) Are you sure about that? Feels out of place and on nothing at all, and you're putting that at the same intensity as the following part. The calmness of the song is really broken by the mapping ! D:

Enourmous length combined with high density suggests HP-1, just to get it somewhat passable.
I really had problems reading it because of high BPM, it might be just me since I also can't really read anything + HR, but maybe use 1,3SV.

01:21:047 - this part seems really random to me, it feels very unintuitive because of the stop-and-go in both music and map, some suggestions to make it easier:
01:22:797 (134) - Big don, generally players tend to read pauses better if there's a big note just before.
01:24:297 (141,142) - This played weird because it doesn't follow your previous rhythm. Drag (141) 1/2 ealier and use a kat for (142) to match your previous pattern.
01:26:297 (155) - I think a big kat would fit nicely here.
01:27:672 (164,165,166,167,168) - dkdkd would represent the music better.

02:21:047 - this sudden drop in volume is irritating, if you want it so low, please reduce it step-by-step in the kdddkdddkdddk pattern before (Like -5% every note or something like that).
03:18:297 (80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90) - This is too hard, you already got high density and high BPM, no need to add finger-breaking streams.
04:07:047 - Why is here a break in Kiai?
04:59:047 (24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40) - As above, this is just murder. If you want to keep that many notes in the stream, use something much less complex.
05:19:047 - This part with bigs and triplets inbetween is really unpleasent to play. To keep the rising tension but also make it less painful to play, remove these three notes: 05:20:922 (20), 05:22:922 (40) and 05:24:922 (60).
05:26:172 - The gimmick-speedup is unnecessary, especially because it's already scrolling really fast.
05:33:047 (64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74) - As above.

You have missed the entire point of it supposed to be difficult. The parts you even mention are not hard. This is supposed to be "the hard of the hard". Look at the standard map. It is similar to this.

The break in kiai where it slows down is something you have to play to feel. You can not just comment on it from editor. It has its purpose.

Sorry if you're mad at me for not wanting to change anything. The only thing i'd consider is the shit like X xxx X xxx X since I agree it's difficult, but according to some, that is one of their favorite types of things to play. I'd like to leave it in if only for fitting so well.

The speed-up gimmick is something special to me. I used it in the old Distorted Lovesong I mapped a long time ago and it was the coolest part to me (of course way faster, like going up to 10k bpm), so it only makes sense to keep it.

Thank you for the mod, you do deserve kudosu, even though I won't change anything.

Why should I be mad? Was all just suggestions and if you have your reasons to keep stuff, keep it. I played the Diff and those streams pointed out were some I didn't manage to get or I barely got them, more luck than knowledge, I just prefer maps to still be somewhat enjoyable without my fingers hurting.

Don't play HR if you don't think you'll make it brah, if you can't make it, don't suggest SV changes (unless the BPM is very high, 260+ and bam you better not leave 1.4)

Why? Because the music consists here of three triples. Each of them is "white-yellow-blue" (as you did with first slider), the distance between them is 1/4.

Side note incase people complain:
AIMod says there is an image in the song folder that is not used, but in the storyboard script there is an animation line which starts at name_0000, which means it uses name_00000, name_00001, name_00002, etc. so this is a bug in AIMod

was going to wait until this was at bubble #2 but lo and behold, something caught my eye. all the extra timing sections near the start are un-needed. all the timing sections you need are the following:

01:27:047 - 7/4 time signature
01:31:547 - this one is most likely 3/4 (heavy beat lands on 01:33:047)
01:33:047 - 4/4

i know the first one is definitely correct, but the other two are debatable. it'd be nice if someone could see if i'm correct or improve my timing if it is incorrect. have to pop this for now and will do a full mod later and then it'll get bubble #2 probably and everything will be fine. sorry ;(

Put the 4/4 at 01:34:047 instead. 01:33:047 (1,2,3,4,5) is structured exactly the same as the previous section (which is set to 3/4) so there's no reason it should be changing there.

06:34:843 (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,3,4,1,2) - please delete this section. it's awkward to play and the timing for this section (or lack therof) is incorrect. each circle practically needs its own individual timing section to be spot on.

02:48:047 (1,1,1) - in my opinion, this anti-jump is really difficulty to sightread and play properly due to the very fast ongoing pace of the map at that point in the song. a good solution would be to place a slider at 02:48:047 that repeats at 02:48:297. it would also be neat to place the reverse of the slider on the end of (1) in the next combo, like this ((7) is the repeat slider, you just can't see the repeat).
06:48:422 (1) - you should never ever map to a vocal part that isn't actually part of the main beat. this isn't timed correctly either (or does it even have a correct timing)? yeah, you should probably remove this.

this should be good for bubble #2 since the uninherited timing section changes didn't require the resnapping of any notes.

Most testers have not had problems with this section at all. also, removing it just makes that break REALLY long and boring--in the standard diff, there's at least an SB to keep the player/viewer's interest, but the taiko would just have a long minute of nothingness ;;

The weird 1/4 effect in the background fades away at 02:48:047 - and suddenly comes back at 02:48:547 - , so I wanted to emphasize that. Anyway, I spread out the notes across the screen. (surprisingly enough, no one i watched test the map misread the antijumps--even on first play--but I suppose they are a bit too risky.)

This is a fair way to aid Taiko gameplay since 7/4 measures are really long. In theory, 7/4 measures are simply made up of a combination of 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 groupings, and this song happens to use a 4/4 to 3/4 as a 7/4 measure. Both would be considered fine if you consider Taiko playability, and this is one of the cases where I would allow a red line inconsistency across all diffs.

For the reason Lybydose provided above, what that's trying to accomplish is making the time signature fit the map, when it should be the other way around. It is very clear that 01:33:047 - is a single 4/4 measure and not a 3/4 measure with an extra beat.

Would also include a 4/4 at 01:35:047 - for the sake of restarting stanza count. Good practice, even though you can only dream of playing this at 1.5x rate.

didn't change taiko back to 4/4 and 3/4 combination though, since the inconsistency between diffs seems to be too controversial, w/e.

didn't add extra 4/4 line because as far as I can tell, that wouldn't really do anything, osu!-wise? correct me if i'm wrong.
