yo i'm here to mod the taiko diffs requested by Sonic.

[General]
  1. for both taiko diffs move the BG down so that the faces aren't cut off. to do that, go on the.osu file. under events you'll see the BG name and 2 numbers beside it to the right. then move the BG down by changing the last number to 150 so that the faces don't become cut off and messy. the code should appear like this.
  2. just a personal preference, but i think it'd sound a lot better if the taiko diffs are named "ReySHeL's Muzu", and "ReySHeL's Oni" you can change this if you like.
[Muzu]
  1. 00:06:617 (1,2,3) - i think a ddk pattern is more fitting because the 1st and 2nd d follows the drums, and the k is for consistency. if it's too hard to do for a muzu, then just leave it.
  2. 00:08:142 (1) - i can hear cymbals here, so make this a K for emphasis on that part of the song.
  3. 00:12:379 (4,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,2,1,2) - i say that you should stick to the drums and not the guitar because it plays a bit inconsistent for me when you're hitting the last note on this phrase, so for this one, i think that the pattern should be this. starting at 00:12:549, it's a k ddkdd k ddk pattern so i think it'd play more fitting for players during gameplay.
  4. 00:19:498 (3) - make this note a d because it's inconsistent with 00:17:125 (1) - and 00:18:651 (1) - . it'll play inconsistently if you follow the vocals.
  5. 00:23:396 (3) - d here as well, but it'll be inconsistent with 00:22:549 (2) -
  6. 00:24:922 (1,1) - switch these 2 because the 1st note i mentioned has cymbals and the 2nd note has drums only, so it'll make a lot of sense during gameplay.
  7. 00:30:346 (1,2,3) - i understand that this follows the vocals, but at the same time it feels too sudden and it doesn't fit for me, so to make it eaiser, make a d k pattern so that it follows the drums and the "thump" for the k.
  8. 00:34:583 (1,2,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,2,3) - here as well. follow the drums so that it'll play more consistently. do this pattern instead. so starting from the third downbeat(white line), it's a ddk K dK ddK pattern, and i think doing this would be easier to read during gameplay.
  9. 00:55:600 (1) - do a a D here because it'll be consistent with 00:54:244 (2) - and it'll show emphasis to thepitch of the vocals as well.
[Oni]
  1. 00:02:718 (1) - make this a K so that it'll be consistent with 00:01:363 (1) -. it'll show that excitement for players and it'll be fun IMO since this is the hardest taiko diff.
  2. 00:04:074 (1) - ^
  3. 00:05:430 (1) - ^
  4. 00:06:786 (1) - ^
  5. 00:08:142 (1) - ^
  6. 00:33:227 (4) - consider making this a d because from what i'm seeing, i can hear a thump. on this part. the k at 00:32:888 (1) - sounds a lot louder in the drums so i figured that a d here would play more fittingly IMO.
  7. 00:36:617 (1) - make this a D for a new phrase in the pattern, and yes this is rankable in case you don't know.
  8. 00:42:040 (1) - ^
  9. 00:46:108 (1,2,1) - i think the pattern here should be K k k because of the cymbals. the 1st once you can hear easily, but the 2nd and 3rd sound feint so you have to listen carefully to that.
  10. 00:48:820 (1) - same as 00:36:617.
  11. 00:55:600 (1) - same as above, but this is up to you.
  12. 00:59:668 (1) - this k plays inconsistently with 01:02:379 (1) - , so you should switch this to a d for consistency with that note.
  13. 01:06:447 (2) - same as 00:55:600.
  14. 01:09:159 (2,3,1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - i think that the pattern should be kkkkddddd k k because in the first four k's, the drums rise, and then when it reaches the d's, the volume decreases, and for the last 2 k's...since the drums stop there(that's what i've heard), it'll follow that instrumental sound in the BGM so it'll be more fitting to play IMO. for the last phrase, i can't hear the drums alternating from there, so i feel that it shouldn't belong there.
  15. 01:11:871 (2) - make this a K for consistency with 01:10:515 (1) -, also i can hear a dinging sound in the BGM.
  16. 01:13:227 (2) - ^
  17. 01:14:583 (3) - ^
  18. 01:21:363 (1) - D here for emphasis in the drums if you want.
  19. 01:26:786 (1) - ^

  1. I recommend to add video to both taiko diff since we can't use taiko bg anymore. Also dont forget to add video offset at these taiko diffs.
  2. your guest diff (includes taiko) start at the same point, but they have different Audio lead in. Andrea and Verdi' is 2000, and taiko is 1985.

[Insane]
  1. 00:02:379 (3) - A bit of an awkward transition from 00:01:871 (2) to 00:02:718 (1), I can understand why you do it, but this is a bit weird to play transition-wise imo. If you could change it to something like this ((posted in the spoilerbox below)), it would be much better flowing.
  2. 00:08:651 (2,3,4,5,6) - I cant say that I like these notes' placements. I just don't think it looks or flows very well. Maybe you can make it better by exchanging 4 and 5's placements each other, but I really recommend just redoing the placement here with a different sort of flow.
  3. 00:11:532 (1,2) - How about change the pattern to this? I dont hate overlaps but I think it would be better if you can change the overlaps to this.
  4. 00:28:481 (1) - this make your pentagon not so perfect, try to make it better by moving it downwards.
  5. 00:46:956 (5) - How about do it like this to do a transition for vocal.
  6. 01:26:786 (1) - Flows better if you move the note to the right instead of to the left imo. How about try this

[Andrea's Hard]
  1. Nothing can be picked.

[Verdi's Normal]
  1. 00:12:040 (1) - Can't say that I agree with this 1/4 repeat for the normal difficulty. I think it would be better to rearrange this. Try to use 1/2 slider instead of 1/4 repeat is better imo.
  2. 00:23:905 (4) 00:33:396 (5) 00:48:481 (1) - These notes' placements let me find your AR is too low to play with these.

[Easy]
  1. The volume is too low to compare with other diffs. Especially the beginning parts.
  2. 01:22:210 (2) - There are two timing points at the same time. Delete one of them plz :3

[Easy]
00:50:515 (2) - This makes sense but it's a bit tough for newer players to follow this. Just make it simple and follow the lyrics more. Move (2) to 00:50:176 and add a hit circle at 00:51:193. Don't forget to move the inherited timing sections too. Should look like so: http://puu.sh/2qvbG
00:53:227 (2) - Same as above.

[Verdi's Normal]
Unsnapped timing section at 01:01:293.
Only issue I got with this diff is at this point:
00:14:922 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - This part is just straight out boring. Strongly advise you jazz it up more by mapping it more. Having the same rhythm multiple times gets played out really fast.

[Andrea's Hard]
00:15:939 (1,2) - Don't like how the 2 jump sliders feel :/ Suggest changing them into 4 hit circles like at 00:18:651. http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/682142
00:16:786 (3) - Empty beat, please remove. Sounds better without it.
00:58:312 (1) - Have a finish on the repeat sounds nice, like the other diffs.
00:59:329 (3) - Same as above^

[Insane]
With a fairly low SV please change the AR to 8. Plays much much better when set at 8
00:34:074 (2,3) - Switch the spots of these two. It flows much much better when its just a straight line rather than a wonky jump.
00:36:617 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This whole combo was set up in a bad way. Sliders heads are covered and you can't tell which direction they are going and with the AR being at 9, this makes it even worse. I played this part over 10 times and still hard to get it. I strongly advise you to change it up, maybe to something like so:

So looks like all the hitcircles are in the center and the sliders are each ending in that center.
00:48:481 (1) - Slider should start at the red tick 00:48:312. It has a better transition into the kiai time if done.

[Final Comments]
Easy plays better decent, but normal seems to be on the harder side but since this song feels like its a bit challenging, I'll let that slide. Hard is fun to play and Insane can be just as fun with a little more mods. All in all you got a good mapset here going on!!

I think you should add a lead-in, because it starts quite early. (and the other difficulties also have lead in)
Also check AiMod (even if it's buggy), it said 2 timing points at the same time, and true! look - http://puu.sh/2qWfg - so it's better to check.
00:06:447 (3,1) - this doesn't flow well in my opinion, because the the slider (3) leads into a different direction
this is an example of how you could change it without ruining the distance (and I think 1,04 is not much but it can be adjusted):

00:23:057 (3,1) - i mentioned before, I think that this doesn't flow well, because after (3) players will have to go up, but it leads down, si I would suggeset you to try something else so that it has better flow and it might make it easier to play (since it's an easy)

I think it plays better and flow is still good and it doesn't change your pattern so much in my opinion.

Overall this diff is pretty nice already, so there is not much to say about it :P

Verdi's Normal:
00:00:854 (2,3) - I think this is too hard for the beginning of the map, so you should change (3) and make it a repeat slider, and delete (2) (it's only the beginning, so you can easily rearrange without having to change a lot of stuff)
00:11:532 (4,5,1) - isn't this a bit hard for normal? such a short repeat slider, and then players will have to hurry to reach (2), I would suggest you to delete that repeat slider and add a hit circle instead, here 00:12:210 -
00:16:108 (2,3) - I think this is a bit hard for a Normal, and the whole difficulty is already pretty hard for a Normal, so I think you could just make this a repeat slider to make it a little bit easier

Well, sorry to say this, but I didn't like this difficulty so much, becase I think it's too hard for a Normal, because of those overlaps and distance change because of slider velocity, I wouldn't change slider velocity on easy and normal, maybe you could be more careful about this in the future? oh well, it's just my opinion

Andrea's Hard:
00:10:007 (5) - i think this breaks the flow, because of it's placement, so I woudl suggest you to place it similar to this - http://puu.sh/2rddl
00:16:786 (3) - this feels unnecessary and a bit confusing here, because there is almost nothing in the music at this point, so I think you should remove this hit circle, removing it would make things better matching to lyrics and beat too
00:22:549 (1) - there are too many repeats on this slider, and it's confusing and breaks the flow, because the last repeat leads upwards, so I think you should remove all the repeaps and make another short slider, example:

Imo, los diffs normal y easy deberian tener slider tick de 1, muchos slider ticks asi, suenan muy feo. Es solo mi opinion nada mas (Ademas de que cuando el SV es mas bajo es mas facil de missearlos)

00:14:583 (1) - add a finish at the repeat with the clap because you can hear the cymbals, and it shows great emphasis in the vocals and BGM during gameplay.
00:22:549 (1,2) - personally i find the repeat arrow on the slider really distracting to follow because it' in the way, and it feels as if the flow came to a halt in this part, so i highly suggest that you replace this for a circle and a 1/1 slider instead since it follows the music a lot better and it keeps the flow steady during gameplay.

00:16:278 (5) - consider moving this note to the left a bit so that the triangle shape is equal and i feel that the flow would be smoother to follow during gameplay considering the shape here IMO.
00:19:159 (6) - same idea here, but this time, stack this note under the end of (3) for that smoother transition in the pattern during gameplay.
00:20:007 (4) - stack this note on (3). same reason as above.
00:24:244 (5) - this note breaks the whole pattern because it goes from a square, and people may think that this is a jump since it's in the same combo. if you wanna keep this circle, then stack it on (1) so that it doesn't become confusing for players during gameplay.
00:34:074 (2,3) - stack (2) on (5) and follow the DS to (3), i prefer 1.70 so that the flow would be easier, as well as fun during gameplay IMO.
01:10:515 (1) - the whistle isn't enough to give emphasis to the cymbals in this part, so either replace it for a finish for add a finish with the whistle for that purpose.
01:12:379 (2,3) - replace this for a 1/1 slider so that it'd be consistent with 01:11:024 (2) - since the vocals' melody is the same.

and that's all i got. well the standard diffs are ready, but i feel that the taiko diffs could get more mods because i feel that there isn't enough mods and enough opinions from other people, so get more taiko mods in the meantime, and once you think there's enough, then ask a taiko BAT to mod it. if the taiko BAT thinks that it's ready, then contact me for a re-check :3. for now here's a star and GL on this map :D.
