ive seen a lot of players use the mirror mod for osu! mania?? is that just an accessory or does it have any significance?

It's to relieve mindblock. Some people use it the other way around (accessory) and NOMOD to relieve mindblock.
Also if you're more comfortable doing a specific pattern that's bothering you with one hand than the other ( left/right hand trills for example )
you know when you put up some text in a mirror the mirror flips it? thats what mirror in mania does

Yeah it's to relieve mindblock. When I'm mindblocked on nomod I turn on mirror, then when I'm mindblocked on mirror I turn it off. Although I do know some people who use it just because they want something next to their scores lol.

it rotates the keys in the other direction
mindblock is when you play a map too many times and develop bad muscle memory that makes it so you cannot easily hit the notes without dyingking hammer wrote:

The mirror mod is the reason I went from a 97 to a 99 on galaxy collapse, its the reason I got my first 6 star fc, pretty much just mindblock relief
