Hey there! Testplay of [S o r d a's Hard] and [Insane] requested from here.

Replay.
  1. A solid map really. It flows and plays well, and some patterns such as the antijump at 00:28:283 (3,4,5) - is just a pleasure to play. I have no idea why though :oops:
  2. Still, there are a few things I want to point one. One is the slider here 00:44:596 (2) - . This just felt awkward to play. It helps to change over to red ticks, but it sounds out of place, and feels too short. Something like this instead would feel better imo http://puu.sh/2rruL
  3. I agree with the timing at 01:19:471 (2,3), but not sure if I agree with the antijump. It just feels a bit forced. Imo, moving it someplace else would just make it play better. Also seeing as there is this long tone at (3), consider changing that to a slider as well.
  4. I'm not sure if this map was supposed to follow the video as well? I was trying hard to notice, but I couldn't catch anything :o

Replay.

  1. The map plays fine, and it flows well, so nothing much to complain about really. Still, I wish there were a bit more interesting stuff going on, kind of setting this map out as "different" from most other ranked TV size maps. It's pretty hard to be the new creative star though :P . Anyhow, you say in your description that the patterns follow the video, but I honestly couldn't see that. Maybe it's because I'm playing with 16:9 resolution?
  2. My replay is kinda bad, which is because I was intently focusing on trying to catch where these patterns that follow the video were :P
  3. 00:12:346 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - These are pretty hard to hit first time around, as the song speeds up at this point. Consider changing (2,3) and (5,6) to sliders, as that would be consistent with the loudest drum having a hitcircle, while the lower ones share the same slider. At the same time, the slider will act as an indicator to the accelerated rhythm at this point, since sliders are set and play at the right time as long as you hit them.
  4. 00:21:346 (5) - I think this is the only place you use a 3/4 slider, and it feels a bit out of place. Just having it as a regular 1/2 slider works just as well.
  5. You'll notice in my replay how I didn't read 00:45:158 (1) - properly. The jump is really sudden and feels out of place for a slow section like this. Consider just placing this inbetween (6) and (2). Alternaively, delete this note and extend (6) to end here.
  6. The jump at 00:49:846 (1) - is kind of impossible to read, and it's really awkward. Try splitting the stream by deleting the note at 00:49:377 - (if you listen closely, there is a short break in the drums here). This way you can also arrange this part so that the 5-note stream leading to the slider and lead to it properly without having this awkward jump ;)
  7. This note 01:11:783 (5) - should have a new combo. I almost decided to hit it because it's so well into the triangle-jump pattern earlier.
  8. 01:28:470 (6) - Well, yes, hitsound this, but drum-hitfinish really doesn't fit here :P

That's all really. Anyhow, if you're able to come up with something eye-catching, that will make everyone who plays this map remember it, then all the better! The map is fine, but it also lacks the impact necessary to make it stand out from the crowd. Still, good job, and good luck!

ps. That animeextremist.com thing is weird. If you can, try find a clean version of the opening video :)

Er, a lot of missing finish hitsounds that exist in the rest of the diffuculties.
00:08:337 (1) - because 00:08:087 (4) exists, it kinda feels like a note should exist where the slider should be (move the spinner back and add a note to where the spinner used to start?). Or you can remove the (4) entirely, because its out of place with your vocals.
00:19:846 (1) - Finish? You hear a crash there in the music.
00:25:846 (1) - ^
00:28:283 (3,4,5) - This is way too much of a spacing variation on a hard (even insane doesn't have spacing variations like this!). For the sake of the diffuculty spread, space these out normally?
00:34:846 (1,2) - Music is suggesting finishes on the starts of these sliders

00:42:908 (4) - ^
00:51:346 (4) - Finish here as well

The problem is that when i made this, i wasn't playing as much as now. now i'm trying to make more unique patterns and fun to play stuff. i've learned some stuff from other people maps! but i'll do my best to improve my mapping skills.

  2. 00:28:471 (3,4,1) - Doesn't look very clean, because slider note 3 slightly overlaps slider note 1 , To prevent such bad overlapping, I think you should stack slider note 3 start position with the end of slider note 1 position , something like this http://puu.sh/2rF3X looks better.
  3. 00:56:971 (2,3) - Something feels wrong about this , I think the rhythm here is slightly off, because there an noticeable empty beat between these two notes causing it to feel a bit empty, maybe add a note at 00:57:346?
  4. 01:00:346 (2) - In previous parts , you added whistles , for example this similar part 00:34:846 (2,3) - you added whistle to the third slider, why not do it here too to keep consistency?
  5. 01:08:971 - Same as second suggestion You did it here too, Idk if it was purposely done or not, lol Going further into the map I start to see, but I'm just pointing this out just in case.
  6. 01:14:596 (1) - I think you miss whistle at the repeat, because it sounds little empty without it.

  1. Slider Tick Rate 2 fits with song much better, try it now!
  2. I'd use AudioLeadIn 1500 here, because it feels that 2000 is a bit too much. But it doesn't really matter, tbh.
[Insane]
  1. 00:21:721 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - this combo feels too long towards other combos. I'd recommend you to put a New Combo at 00:23:971 (6) or (7), it will keep your comboing a bit more consistent and fit with music.
  2. 00:28:846 (5) - same as above. Those two combos are kinda too long. That's why NC here is needed, imo.
  3. 00:39:346 (5) - same as above. This time you are placing jumps here, and NC will help us to read them! What's more it fits with vocals/music and looks better here! Try it!
  4. 00:43:846 (4) - normally I'm not so picky with New Combos, but this one is kinda neessary. Actual slowdown starts here, and beat here is quite loud, too! that's why Nc here is necessary!
  5. 00:53:033 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I quite like first combo of this pattern, but second part is too fast here, I think. 00:54:346 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - feels different from previous patter - that's why I want you to replace 00:54:346 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - with sliders.

  8. 01:07:846 (1,2,3,4) - same as 01:04:846 (1,2,3). It's kiai start and vocals are so loud here. This part is begging for jumps!
  9. 01:27:533 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - those circles fit here, but it's too boring for skilled players to "tap" them all. Try to add some sliders (or replace them all with sliders) to make this part a bit more nteresting? just an example

    I like that diff, almost nothing to say. Just some suggestions how to improve flow.

  2. Try AR8, I know it may hurt diff spread a bit! AR8 here feels the way better, playfield is not flooded with hitobjects and jumps are easy to read! What's more AR8 fits even with your slider velocity!
  3. 00:00:337 (1,2,3) - nazi - I'd recommend you to keep spacing consistent. You have x1.2 between 00:02:087 (4,5,6) - and x1.0 for 00:00:337 (1,2,3) - it feels inconsistent and looks a bit messy :<
  4. 00:42:908 (4,1) - nazi - I'd recommend you to fix spacing here. It looks like you will have to fix it manually. Right now it looks like 1/4 note, which can confuse players!
  5. 00:53:408 (3,4,6,7,1) - this pattern looks kinda messy, imo. by the way, it's quite hard to read. What if we will try to avoid this overlap? example
  6. 01:05:408 (2) - this slider feels weird. Maybe it's because vocals end at 01:05:596 - just try to place a circle at 01:05:408 - and start slider 1/2 later. It feels much better for me.
  7. 01:17:783 (3,4,5,6,7) - since this diff is [Hard] streams here are kinda confusing. Try to avoid them? For example, you can replace this stream with a reversed 1/4 slider.
    Note: you've already done similar pattern at 01:25:283 (1) -
  8. 01:21:346 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - nazi - in case if you've fixed 00:53:408 (3,4,6,7,1) - fixe this one fo consistency!

  1. try to use OD4 to make this diff a bit more interesting/challenging. I feel like it will make players to try harder, and they will like this diff more!
  2. 00:30:721 (1,2) - I understand that you're following vocals, but this combo looks the way too short. Can't you find the way to keep combos a bit more consistent?

    Nothing else to say, very neat diff!

  1. This diff is the easiest, I'd recommend you OD-1 because of BPM changes in this map. It may stress beginners, that's why OD-1 is is required.
  2. 01:04:846 (3,1) - 3/2 rhythm here. It fits with music but may confuse beginners. Is here any way to avoid rhythm changes? If yes, please make sure to do it!
    note: it's better if you will follow consistent rhythm in [Easy] diff. So, beginners will be able to relax and enjoy music!
  3. 01:31:096 (1) - this note after spinner is unexpected! Beginner won't expect anything after final spinner, s it may stress them too much. I'd recommend you to end spiinner at 01:31:096 - instead!

If yes, please make sure to do it! i cant think of a better way to follow music avoiding this.. hmm i think it is okay. at least the next slider starts at a white tick, it shouldn't be that difficult to read imo o3o
    note: it's better if you will follow consistent rhythm in [Easy] diff. So, beginners will be able to relax and enjoy music! will have it in mind for my next projects~
  3. 01:31:096 (1) - this note after spinner is unexpected! Beginner won't expect anything after final spinner, s it may stress them too much. I'd recommend you to end spiinner at 01:31:096 - instead! there's no sound at 01:30:346 ~ 01:31:096 so it would be pointless to extend the spinner like that. let's keep this as it is for now, and check for other people opinoin to see if they agree with this o3o

• 00:19:840 (1,2) - This flows forced to me, in addition these kind of Sliders under the Slider track of the other looks pretty bad. So, can you make a better thing here?? Feel free to talk with me in-game if you want my personal idea :P
• 00:23:965 (3) - *Nazi* I'd make this Slider a bit curvy for a better transition with (4,5).
